SpringHill Suites by Marriott Birmingham Downtown at UAB

Proximity to the concert venue and food was good. Shuttle service was a very nice feature. Room was quiet and cool and roomy. It was probably about 94° outside. Everyone at the front desk was friendly.

There wasn't a full length mirror. The breakfast was nice except for the sausage. I think it's just the type that was used. The woman taking care of the breakfast was working hard to keep the area stocked but she was dealing with a large crowd in a 2.5 hour window.

Breakfast was full and hot. There were many choices and the dining area was clean. The room was clean and well appointed. Staff was friendly and quick to respond, and the pool was warm and relaxing. We requested an early check in and the request was honored without hesitation.

The only issue we had was that the shower drained VERY slowly. The water stayed at ankle depth... it was kinda gross. For all of the niceties within the rest of the experience, it was a very odd issue to face.

Everything was excellent, The beds were very comfortable, the room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was delicious a different breakfast every day.

What I did not like is that the hotel does not have its own parking lot, we had to park in a parking lot that was on the side and walk to enter the hotel

Enjoyable stay, amazing location, nice staff. Very clean and lovely room.

I wish the airport shuttle either ran 24/7, or they were more upfront about the hours it runs. It was disappointing to arrive at the airport at 8 am and learn the shuttle doesn't start running until 3 pm.

The design of the hotel. The breakfast was great it was a plus. The indoor pool was a nice touch. The staff was very friendly and professional and the check in process was smooth.

The parking was horrible. I wish they had free accessible parking. Other than that everything was great

The food it wasn’t a lot to choose for breakfast just eggs biscuit or toast and sausage and fruit but no waffles or pancakes and the pool water was hot instead of cold so the kids kept getting out and they said it was nothing they could really do and certain areas of the hotel were hot and I hated the elevator it took 30-40 mins for the elevator to come up or down

The room was excellent; clean and refreshing and large and comfortable. Easy access to the bathroom. The staff were superb, all ready and willing to answer any questions and provide assistance. Thank you.

The breakfast was a bit strange; too packaged. I understand because of COVID, but the omelettes could have been a little more fresh. Thanks.

the parking situation. you have to check out with front desk every time that you leave or you get charged extra I was charged extra on one of the days even though I checked out each time

The location was nice. There is a parking deck and parking for the day is only $15. On the weekends metered parking is free. The rooms were very nice and the staff was excellent. Checking wasn't until 3 I got there early due to the time difference and was allowed to check in a little early.

Besides my remote not working and internet everything was perfect

My t.v remote didn't work the entire time 😒 so there was no t.v for me. But there was this young lady, can't remember her name I think shes over sales and marketing maybe but she was very helpful she even personal came to try and fix my t.v issue. I really appreciate that. Also we could never connect to the internet.
