Breakfast was excellent! I mostly had mushroom omelette and the mushrooms were full of flavour, lovely coffee too, there was a wide range of choices on the menu. The views from every window were beautiful and it was very quiet. Susie was very welcoming and I felt very relaxed ,also if you love animals they are everywhere!😊 Although I took my own because of skin issues , there were lots of choices of very good toiletries available and the room also smelt very pleasant but not intrusive.

I would have liked more choice of TV channels.

Wonderful stay visiting our daughter 15 mins away. Breakfast was exceptional and nothing too much trouble for our lovely hosts Susie and Andrew. We would certainly recommend this beautiful place to anyone. Views of garden from our room were amazing even spotting a green woodpecker on the lawn. Thank you so much

Just be aware of a few potholes on the lane leading to the property apart from that we loved everything

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. A beautiful house surrounded by the farm and fields. Loved seeing the beautiful horses in the fields. All very peaceful. Large room with great seating area. A real bonus to have a small fridge in the room. Excellent breakfasts! I would certainly stay again if needing accomodation in the area.

I was very pleased with everything.

This is an absolutely beautiful house and garden that's very much an active family home and working farm. The rooms are fully equipped, beds are very comfy, great showers, good wifi, great breakfast and the hosts were super friendly and welcoming. We were invited to use the spacious, elegant sitting room and explore the garden and farm, which was lovely. It's in an excellent location for visiting this stunning part of the country. I would certainly stay again.

I'd specifically booked the beautiful main bedroom for Mum on her birthday, months ago, but on arrival was told that someone else was in that room so Mum would be in the twin room the first night and moved to the big room the next day. It was almost 5pm when we arrived so we didn't make a fuss, and the twin room was ok, but this change with no prior warning (or offer to refund the price difference) was a disappointment. Next time I'd re-confirm a day or two ahead and ensure to get the room I'd booked. NB there is no four poster bed any more, it's a normal bed.

The best B&B we have ever stayed in and we could not have wanted anything more. The bedroom was so spacious and a massive bed. Breakfast was totally catered to us including my husbands vegan needs. Extra friendly hosts and we will be returning next year with our new arrival!

Full English breakfast was great. Host was very friendly and helpful in every way. A beautiful house in a beautiful location. I was on my own, but ideal for a family as there is lots of space both in the rooms and outside in the gardens. Lots of animals to see nearby including Alpacas and some very friendly donkeys!

Nothing!

Hosts very friendly, laid back - come and go as you like - and helpful obtaining taxi. My fault I booked accommodation close to destination without checking quotes/location of taxi companies first. Gorgeous property and dogs. Bed very comfortable. Lovely setting/views.

Household dogs' barking waking me up. Only tried watching TV a couple of times for short periods but signal drifted in and out saying the aerial needed a booster.

We loved the fantastic welcome by our host (and the various sized dogs), the house was beyond expectations and was absolutely beautiful. As long as you have transport to get around I thoroughly recommend Cary Fitzgerald House, within a short drive are wonderful pubs and villages as well as the Clarks Village shopping village if you feel the need for some retail therapy or the Haynes Motor Museum for any petrol heads. As the coast was within easy reach a day out at Weymouth as well as a day trip to Bath were possible, none disappointed. The breakfasts were absolutely fantastic and set us up perfectly for a days exploring, sitting in the garden in the evening with a glass of wine it was very easy to forget about the previous 18 months and relax..

Absolutely nothing.

This was a lovely location, property was fantastic. Wish I had more time to explore the area. Very good breakfast made with locally sourced ingredients and products. The lady running this was attentive helpful and lovely to chat to. Would definitely recommend and will be booking again next year

The only small thing I would say that could be better would be a little more room between the door and the bed, but that’s just a very small thing in what was a very positive visit
