A welll maintained and attractive property in the centre of town, a short walk from the railway station. The rooms and areas for residents' use have a very pleasing ambience and are comfortable. The bar/restaurant offers a good range of choice for drinks and meals - the latter well presented, tasty and great value. Early breakfasts from 6 a.m. is a plus for travellers needing an early start. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and in the restaurant particularly gave exceptional service.

The room was great, nice and spacious, clean, tidy and warm. The bathroom was nice and the rooms are serviced. Everything you needed. Really lovely pub downstairs. Overall Lovely stay.

Internet would drop out, I could hear someone snoring in the room next door so I don't think the walls are that thick. It is above a pub so just be aware that people are partying until 1am on a Friday and Saturday night. 1/10 for the music choice by the DJ playing Steps 5,6,7,8 when you're trying to sleep :D

the comfort of the beds was really good the rom servive and the night club wasnt that loud so i didnt hear it at all the staff were really friendly when ever i needed help and were always there to answer the phone

the only thing wrong was when I left rubbish by the bin some days it didn't get picked up and was just left , and the shower leaked a bit but it wasn't anything that was a mjot problem , but apart from that everythng was good

The tea and orange juice was lovely

Felt the continental breakfast was dismal there was only cereal and toast ! There should have been ham cheese boiled eggs bread buns . I was also disappointed that there was no cooked breakfast till 10am as we were travelling home along way and left at half 8 so it would have nice to have a choice of cooked or continental breakfast.

Spotless white bed linen and large fluffy towels. Shower room was equipped with 'Scottish Fine Soaps' toiletries - lovely. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, the vegetarian option was cooked to perfection.

Slightly more choice on the continental breakfast would be appreciated.

Location for me was perfect - better than expected. The staff were so very kind and helpful - fantastic. Room upgrade very much appreciated. Night club on site ( some dull noise heard ). Very happy with my evening meal. Gluten free Mac n cheese - never seen a gluten free option on a menu before. Plenty of tea making facilities in my room - brill

Cooked breakfast timings. For people who are on the "go" early like myself a cooked breakfast would have been great as I had 5-6 hour bus journey ahead of me plus being gluten free it is impossible to pick up a gluten free sandwich "off the shelf". Hot breakfast had been arranged for a slightly earlier time but felt I had put staff under pressure so I decided it wasn't fair of me and left to catch my transport.

Great room, comfy bed, great shower, very friendly staff, free parking.

One of the main reasons I booked here was that it stated on the booking details and on their website that it had an open bar until midnight and I was checking in quite late and this appealed as I had driven a long way and wanted a few drinks to unwind. unfortunately the bar took last orders at 10.30 as it was quiet? I would have hoped residents would have had the benefit of the bar times advertised.

Staff were really helpful offered to help when needed as I had a baby and my young son with me. Rooms were lovely. Clean and warm. Excellent value for money.

Beds are a little uncomfortable but that's just my opinion I don't sleep well anywhere other than my own bed

The staff were very friendly the place was clean, the beds are comfy. For what you pay for it,it'sore than adequate.I will definitely stay there again

Room window was a bit close to a road and without ac when u need to open windows u can hear the cars from time to time. But it's wishaw the roads are not mad busy so it's a minor

Can be a bit noisy at night because there's a bar downstairs
