Delta Hotels by Marriott Swansea

Loved the location, it was my birthday and we were given a sea view room to watch the airshow. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was lovely , plenty of variety.. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Room was lovely!

The price was high for one night , maybe because of the airshow. Not much tea and coffee, milk etc in the room. Think there should have been a biscuit too for the price of the room. Perhaps leaflet showing where air conditioning was. Didn't find it till the morning we were leaving

The staff is both friendly and efficient. They make a point of ensuring a guest's comfort and satisfaction. The location and view were perfect - I had a lovely view of the marina and beach while being a short walk away from the city center

There was an incident of disturbance by inconsiderate guests in the hallways - shouting and doors slamming. To be fair, however, the hotel did offer to change my room to a different floor. I hope the management will take hallway monitoring into consideration and prevent these incidents from the very beginning.

The staff were amazing, in particular AJ. She welcomed me and my daughter, asking if we had come to Wales before. I explained it was our first visit and asked where was good to visit. She gave us a map highlighting the areas. She let us check in early, giving us a room on the top floor with an amazing view of the sea. She also gave my daughter an ice cream! The staff in the restaurant were so friendly and helpful,as with all the staff. My daughter really enjoyed Wales, and it will be the first of more visits in the future. Will definitely be making another stop at this hotel.

Nothing major, just that the window was broken and unable to open to get fresh air. Used the air con, which did a good job.

We liked pretty much everything, especially the lovely lady cleaning our room (forgot to ask her name). The staff at the restaurant during breakfast times were also wonderful.

1) As we had twins, we asked for 2 extra blankets to put on the baby cots as the cot base was not comfortable, but could only be given 1 blanket as apparently there was none left. I would have thought a 4-star rating hotel would have extra blankets as all hotels I've been to, have extra bedding in the wardrobes. 2) The reception was deserted at times and had to wait longer for someone to assist. 3) Breakfast could do with having cheese as an extra -:)

-Spacious room and good location -Beach literally next to the hotel and the marina just across the road - Very nice lunch at 'Grape and Olive' next to the hotel - stunning views from the restaurant at the top of the tower - Good hotel breakfast

-We felt it should have been possible to provide proper mugs and glass tumblers in the room, rather than 'paper' or plastic, in the interests of the environment. -After checking in, I realised that I had been charged £50 more than the room price. I went back to reception, queried this and was told that it was an amount allocated to the room for 'extras' and if not used it would not be charged. This was not explained when I checked in and I feel it should have been.

It was a lovely atmosphere. Fresh and clean. Nice modern decor. Staff were very nice and helpful and put our needs first. The overall room was really nice and spacious. We really liked the fresh fragrant smell as we entered both hotel lobby and hotel room. It was nice to see many services offered to us such daily house keeping and room service. The location of the hotel is in a lovely place and we loved the outdoor seating area located looking over the sea that was lovely addition to area.

The lack of facilities within the room considering of the high cost. It would of been nice if we had a microwave or a mini fridge of some sort within the hotel room. Considering this is high end hotel we would expect at least a mini fridge as we have stayed in a lot lower end and cheaper hotel that had offered much more facilities eg: mini fridge. Also it would of been great to have a TV that works properly. It is understandable that signals and satellites can be and issue. However we are living in times where online steaming is offered in most places. A smart TV with access to wifi and online streaming services would of been a great addition.

The rooms were quite big, beds very comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Wi-fi is payable and not included in the price of room which was not cheap. I have not experienced this in any other hotel in the UK.

Room with view across Swansea was ideal and staff were very helpful and housekeeping kept room and communal areas very clean despite upgrading work very active on ground floor. Previous visits to Hotel allowed guests to park free of charge but it was only when I checked out established one had to be a member for No Charge to be activated and I was charged £5 per day .Still very good in these costly days I shall certainly return soon

Lift and stairs had to be deactivated for works to be carried out and was advised to use service lift which served its purpose

Our room was a lovely size and spotlessly clean The whole hotel was really warm Monica on reception was brilliant at her job She made us feel very welcome and was really helpful Thank you

The bar area is very small and lacks atmosphere It could attract a lot of business if it was opened up to create a larger bar and restaurant We returned from the concert in the arena and there were no seats available The high bar stools and tables are really uncomfortable

The room was warm and comfortable. There is air conditioning if you get too warm. I booked an overnight stay so my partner could recover after his arm operation. It was a last minute booking, and the staff went out of their way to try and accommodate us in the same room so there would be minimal disruption, despite the fact that they were fully booked for that night. The staff are so patient and kind. They went out of their way to try and ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you very much for all of your attention.
