Lyme Townhouse

On arrival we were made very welcome by Lisa who showed us to our room. It was spotless and had all amenities inside, to make tea etc. Water and fresh milk were on hand. The bed was super comfy and it was very quiet at night even with all the windows open. Great shower and bathroom. We had a lovely view from our room. It was up a hill to the car park but not far, luckily there were plenty of places to park. A rarity in a town as pretty as Lyme. Then a 5 minute walk into town. The breakfast was superb and plentiful with lots of different choices and the women serving our breakfast were very friendly and met all our requests. I cant think of anything negative and we will certainly return. .

Great location 5 min walk to beach, restaurants and shops. Staff were super friendly and helpful with recommendations. I mentioned that it was on on honeymoon and lovely touch with card and flowers in room on our arrival. Good quality in room toiletries, coffee etc...breakfast was cooked fresh to order and good quality produce used. Would definitely go back there for our Lymn Regis stay.

Shame no onsite car parking, so was a bit of a pain walking up to car park daily at 8am, but his didn't spoil our holiday and would do it again as the quality of B&B was very good.

The decor and all of the essentials needed for a few days stay very well thought out. The Wild toiliteries were lovely. Lovely big bed and great shower. The staff were cheerful and friendly. Complimentary tote bag was a nice touch.

We were very disappointed with the cooked breakfast. We ordered egg and bacon on toasted bloomer, but when it came it was on thin, sliced white bread and thin hard bacon. The next day the American pancakes were clearly shop bought not freshly prepared. Such a shame - Lyme Townhouse please offer quality breakfast ingredients and as described on the menu

Great host she was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and really tasty. Room lovely and biscuits were a nice treat Loved the canvas gift bag. The house is a good mix of period accommodation with modern touches. Water lovely and hot.

Not venues fault, but had to park overnight in a long-stay public carpark, we were not sure how safe it was, but this is clear when booking. No issues, the car park is well lit and car was fine, and if u pay the car park fee through JustPark you get the option of extra insurance for vandalism, etc, at a rate of 29p hour if you want extra peace of mind. Couldn't open the windows in the room but just turned heating down, so it's not a major issue .

Room good size, bed very comfortable, I love your "Wild"dispensing range. You were happy to store my bag for 3 days before my arrival, so it was there waiting for me in my room. Breakfast was great, lots of choice. Very convenient location for walking down (with my rucksack) to the bus-stop.

The room (no.7) floor slopes towards the door, and I could even feel it when lying in bed (a strange feeling). I moved one of the chairs from the window to the other side of the bed, where it was more useful.

friendly welcome. good communication beforehand, called the morning of our arrival to check. wonderful breakfast buffet and cooked breakfast. good in room extras - tea and coffee making plus access to a communal fridge with fresh milk and you could use for your own drinks; smart TV so could connect up to out online services. good location near the Holmbush Car park and a nice downhill walk to the high street and along the front. Coming home you can walk through the woodland walk from the Cobb.

Clean and cosy room in small b&b. Room was lovely, modern and a good size, with a long distance sea view! Bathroom was perfectly fine, nice big walk in shower, no bath, but wouldn’t have used that anyway. Big fluffy white towels - proper bath sheets too, not those little ones that are no use to anyone! Kettle etc in room and fresh milk in fridge on landing, a nice touch. Good choice at breakfast, pre booked the night before, which was fine for us. Big comfy bed, can’t fault it. Cheerful friendly staff.

I was surprised to see that we had a sea view and a quiet room at the back of the building, as I had picked one of the cheaper rooms and assumed it would be on the road side. The bed was very comfortable and I slept really well. I also really like that there were ‘wild’ refillable toiletries and a proper milk bottle so minimising use of plastic. I wouldn’t have ordered a hot breakfast if I had seen the buffet - granola and croissants looked delicious. Vegan and veggie well catered for.

A short walk to the gardens, seafront, shops, pubs, and restaurants. Lovely waterfall shower. Room smelt lovely when you enter. Great, top-quality tea and coffee selection. Breakfast included in the price which you selected the day before using local ingredients. The bedding is comfortable and pillows nice.

Bed had a dip on one side and felt uncomfortable. Parking was a private car park and was £15 per day.

Perfectly located when arriving by bus, and for getting to town and to the far side of the beach. Very good breakfast with a range of options, and they serve later than many B&Bs which I appreciate. Solid wifi. Good water pressure in the shower. Surprisingly roomy for what was described as a "cozy" space. Very quiet and easy to sleep. Very friendly staff and some nice welcoming touches in the room.

There's a fan in the room and the window opens a bit, but it was just too warm much of the time. I think it's in large part because the ventilation fan in the bathroom isn't terribly powerful so all the heat and humidity from the shower seeps into the room, even with the bathroom door closed. It's an older house so the floor is on a bit of a slant, which did affect my comfort in bed a little.
