Grand town house with huge room and modern aesthetic. Good firm mattress so no back ache. Free parking on site and central location.

No air con and it was the hottest day of the year 33*C and no food available which is a shame. We went to a local cafe for breakfast.

I was here for the night before my best friend's wedding! The staff were exemplary so accommodating and allowing me to leave my car an extra night (after paying the 24 hour fee) and they were so kind and welcoming. The room was beautiful, really spacious and attractive. The bathroom was very functional. The rooms were very tidy and clean. Honestly thought it was a fabulous location so close to the wedding venues and really lovely part of Leicester!

To be honest I liked everything perhaps more fans as it was very hot.

The room was beautifully decorated and had all of the things you would need and also had an excellent dyson air cooler in there which I was very grateful for as it was extremely warm. The bathroom was lovely and the shower was excellent.

The bed needs to have a soft mattress topper on it because the mattress was quite firm and it was 2 single beds attached, which i appreciate is normal but the groove between them was quite uncomfortable. Please also consider making conditioner available with the other toiletries as it says on the website that all toiletries are included.

The Lodge is right opposite to the cathedral, literally a few meters from where King Richard III's bones where found, so super convenient to visit! It's also very close to the centre where loads of nice restaurants and bars are located. The room was really stylishly decorated and had coffee/tea facilities. Another bonus is the free parking in the public (but secure) parking just behind the hotel. The Reception where you pick up the keys is in St.Martin's House, maybe 100 meters away and staff was very nice and friendly

The pressure of the shower was a bit high but other than that, everything else was fine.

Everything about our stay was lovely, the lodge is decorated to a very high standard, modern, clean, and very well thought out. The concierge was very well mannered and really pleasant when we contacted him about raising the barrier for the car park. The gentleman at check in was extremely helpful and covered everything we needed to know even pointing out the best way to go for food and drink. What a lovely set up and we would definitely use again. Well done!!

Leicester town centre wasn't very nice and wasn't a place that we felt comfortable walking around. We went to have a look but didn't stay long. We couldn't work out how to turn the bedside lights on and presumed the bulbs had gone after the normal turning on mechanism didn't work when used ( it didn't matter as there was plenty of other light options so didn't affect our stay )

The room was stunning - really nicely decorated and a comfortable size. It was a little hot due to the weather but a fan was provided. The shower was amazing - good temperature and water pressure.

The bed was a little hard for our liking. Also the kettle was difficult to get on the base in order to use it (possibly damaged) and the coffee maker leaked. However, we didn't get around to reporting these but are sure they would have been rectified asap if we had.

Large well-appointed room with large TV, coffee machine, great shower and bathroom facilities in a very central location with parking adjacent to the lodge included in the price. Charging station also available in the car park. Quiet location. Very helpful staff. No meal facilities on site, but very close to a wide range of good restaurants and breakfast cafes. The central location is ideal for all classes of visitor wanting access to the city centre.

It wasn't clear in advance that access to the lodge from the car park was very easy and adjacent. We were confused by having to book in next to the cathedral and dragged our luggage there first.

Gorgeous room, bathroom is almost as big as the room itself. Very friendly staff. Love that all the tea and coffee are fairtrade and there were other options beside the usual.

Not their fault, but being right near the party quarter you get the usual bunch who like to yell outside your window throughout the night at weekends, and there was little difference sound-wise between having the windows open or closed. So I'd recommend staying mid-week or asking for a room on the car park side away from the side street. Also, if you're not able-bodied you might struggle with the short walk to check in across the road.

location is excellent. Always really clean and well-maintained. Staff are always welcoming, friendly & helpful.

Room 210 does not have anywhere to place your toiletries bag near the sink or in the bathroom. The sink itself has a small shelf but that not really sufficient for 2 people & you end up putting things on the floor. There was some sort of buzzing noise that I could not locate that went on all night and I could not tell if it came from in the room, outside or from a downstairs room but it made it much harder to sleep.

Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The location was perfect for visiting the Richard III museum and the cathedral. In the room we found a good map of the town and recommendations for where to dine and what to visit.

We liked the lodging very much and would recommend it. Unfortunately, we had come to Leichester to visit the cathedral and it was closed for renovation. We also realized quite late that a train strike was looming so we had to leave a day early after having already paid for all our lodging (no fault of St. Martins)
