We stayed for a one night break after an enjoyable long walk across the Malverns hills. Lovely character hotel, delicious food for dinner and breakfast, friendly and attentive staff, super comfy bed, nice touches like luxury toiletries/teas/coffees (and a rubber duck!). Really impressive bathroom with a great shower. Everything very clean and well presented. Ledbury was a delight too with historic buildings and independent shops. Highly recommend staying here.

Getting into the car park involved a tour of the one way system and a tight squeeze through a 17th century coaching arch but we pulled it off even in our beast of a Skoda Octavia.

Good food, good service, smart hotel but not stuffy. Expected a basic breakfast menu but they had the full works and it was cooked perfectly. Beautiful bathroom products, best tea and coffee products provided in the rooms to make you feel a little pampered😁

Difficulty parking on the Saturday. Given the age of the building it has a small car park with narrow access however we eventually found a space in the neighbouring car park after all the shoppers had gone home. Parking in general seems to be an issue in Ledbury so patience is required!!

Attractive Building Some of decor/interior design was nice Nice food Good breakfast Comfortable beds

The mix of cheap looking modern furniture with old in bedroom and communal areas. Old was in character but modern spoilt the ambience. Our room had a big extractor fan from the kitchen. It was still going past 11 pm, when trying to sleep, then switched on at 7 am, so disappointing as spoilt any chance of relaxing in the comfy supersize bed. The double glazing didn't help reduce the noise. There was noise of barrels being banged around late at night and early in the morning. The bedroom was too hot, but we couldn't open the window or turn the radiator off in the bathroom. The radiator in the bedroom was off. We didn't appreciate the abrupt attitude of receptionist on check out when complained about lack of sleep who challenged our integrity.

The Staff were excellent ambassadors for The Hotel. Whoever we came into contact with greeted us with a cheery smile and could not have been more helpful. When appropriate they were willing to chat and ask how we were. The Hotel had real age and with that came some quirkiness, creaking floorboards, sloping floors and the like but that brought charm. The public areas were attractive and ideal for a sit, a coffee and a read. The weather was kind so we enjoyed sitting in the small garden area. Breakfasts and the one evening meal we had were plentiful , well cooked and well presented. The restaurant team were to be commended.

Having to climb sloping stairs but that says more about our age. Any negatives would be just nitpicking . And that would be pointless

Placed in the center of Ledbury, easy to find but we arrived in the middle of the town carnival. So we ended up in the Coop parking to begin with near the hotel (restrictions lifted for the carnival!) Got help from the hotel staff and could park at the rear of the hotel when the carnival crowds had gone. Generally people are very helpful so our problems finding a way into Ledbury during the carnival to the hotel were solved. Good breakfast, choice of continental or full english breakfast. Room and hotel were really impressive. We ate out in the evening, good choice of resturants nearby and in the hotel itself, wish we had stayed longer to try them all out. There is a map of the town marking all the places of interest which take you for an easy walk around the town.

Booking in is always easy here -staff always pleasant and welcoming-especially breakfast staff -we had asked for a quiet room and were given one -unfortunately it was on the second floor and I have a few mobility issues so will bear that in mind when we next book -the room itself was excellent. The Feathers is always spotlessly clean and we appreciate the little touches like fresh water every day -room serviced if we stay more than one night and beautiful toiletries -Breakfast is always amazing but we have stayed three times now and wish the would change the dinner menu -it always seems to be the same and although the food is always well cooked it would be nice to have something different . Its a very popular place serving residents and non residents alike -the coffee shop is always busy and the afternoon teas looks scrummy - we will always keep coming back to the Feathers -meets our needs perfectly

Hotel is a traditional coaching inn decorated and appointed to the finest levels. Accommodation was roomy with a very comfortable bed. The restaurant was good value and some of the dishes on offer were superb (Swordfish, mussels and vegetarian taste all excellent). Breakfast was beautifully cooked as well.

If taking your own car, there is not easy access to the car park which is small but there is a public car park right next door which is inexpensive for a 24 hour stay. Only one irritation was the number of e mails sent before we arrived asking us to book a table in the restaurant.

We stayed in room 1 Nell Gwynn room. It was beautiful, such lovely touches - handwritten note saying enjoy your stay ,classical music playing on a radio in our room. A console table with a variety of books, playing cards in wooden box and noughts & crosses. So spacious, lovely decor and bonus was a Nero coffee machine with pods and chocolate bars alongside the usual coffe/ tea and kettle. Bottles of water in room also. Bathroom huge and beautiful locally bought products to use- smelt amazing- robes & slippers provided too. All absolutely immaculate and prestine. Lovely beer garden outside- large variety of alchohol drinks and snacks were available. Whole ambience of hotel was lovely and warm and welcoming. Fantastic location- first stay in Hereford- would definitely revisit. Staff very professional and smartly dressed. Credit to all housekeepers and staff working in the hotel.

Food in restaurant looked beautiful but unfortunately wasn't to our taste. I had tomato and basil soup which was beautiful- burger wasn't pleasant even though locally sourced and fries were lukewarm. Husband had chicken which was bland- lots of dressing around the plate but again quite acidic.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The room was beautiful and perfectly clean and presented. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. The staff were all really helpful and very professional.

Even though breakfast was excellent I do feel a continental breakfast area would have saved the waitress a lot of extra work. She was rushed off her feet serving customers cereals, milk, pastries etc which I’m sure everyone would have been happy to help themselves to and the waitress could have concentrated on servicing the hot food and drinks. The waitress worked so hard - she was amazing.

The hotel has been decorated and furnished to a high standard. Everywhere was clean, room well equipped. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good

The heat in the room. it had not been an exceptionally hot day however when I entered my room the heat hit me. I checked that no radiators were on and opened the windows as wide as possible with the locks on to let as much air in. turned the fan on with hope it might move some air and make it cooler, unfortunately not and I had the worst night sleep in a long time. Even the dinning room for breakfast was hot and there were air on units that weren’t on. Not necessarily the hotels fault they have tried to accommodate with fans in the room but more could be done
