Room size and standard was excellent. The restaurant outstanding (though maybe just a wee bit overpriced for quantity on the plate). Staff could not have been any better in all respects. Unusual but very quiet at night location.

Be hard to pick up anything negative really. However, the only thing we didn't really like (but hotel would) was the number of non residents filling bar and restaurant at times. While location next to football stadium quiet it could be different during the season I assume. It is a wee bit out of town if you require the town center, though taxis were reasonably cheap and greet service too.

The entrance and lobby was spacious and airy and the check in staff were very friendly. it was good value for money. Our room was very comfortable, the bed was huge and the bathroom was very clean. Tea and coffee making facilities, with biscuits, and a water dispenser in the hall. The restaurant was full, glad we booked, and the waiting staff attentive and friendly. The food was excellent. Only an overnight stop so didn’t get chance to explore the rest of the facility but would definitely stop again if in the area.

Very squeaky flooring! Might be busier on a match day as it’s next door to the football ground.

The staff were lovely and very accommodating. Nice comfortable room and the robe and slippers were a nice touch. Very clean hotel. Breakfast was very good.

I was in the very end room on the ground floor. Not sure that’s an ideal location for a single female in the room. My sister was also given a ground floor room but asked for it to be changed. At first she was told this wasn’t possible as the hotel was so busy but she was too anxious to sleep alone on the ground floor so an alternative room was eventually found for her on the first floor. Although the lock didn’t work in that room and she had to be accompanied by a member of staff with a master key every time she entered the room. We thought that all hotels had a policy not to put lone female travelers on the ground floor. But apparently not.

The staff were lovely and couldn't be more helpful. The room was spacious, clean and had everything you need for a short stay. The restaurant and bar/cafe areas were good too. There is a good-sized car park for those travelling the area.

It was a little surprising to see how close the hotel was to the football stadium and that could cause problems of access when there is a game on - but the hotel did warn this was the case. The bed was not the most comfortable and a better mattress would take the overall score from Very Good to Excellent

Nice, large well equipped room for a week's stay. I liked that if you declined housekeeping they still left you a little bag outside the door each day. Nice cocktails in bar and attentive bar staff.

One lady at breakfast was not very friendly each morning we came down. The bed was a little lumpy but was not a deal breaker. Maybe request a high floor as ground floor you can hear everything above you. Regardless, I would stay again.

Location was good. Rooms were very clean and neat. Really spacious rooms. Bigger than I thought they'd be. Having my own private bath rather than just a regular shower was really nice. And the bed was nice and wide. Quite comfy.

My overall complaints are minor. They're more little flaws that could be fixed in future. The internet was a bit slow and so it was a little frustrating to use. The side of my bath had a small layer of dust although the inside was clean. The floor was a bit creaky inside my room. Quite loud the creaks. But nothing that indicates it's broken just loud whenever walking normally.

The property was clean and well presented, flexible with a late arrival time. Staff were very friendly and helpful. bed was comfortable and the room was well-appointed with iron and ironing board, tea & coffee facilities, hairdryer and toiletries. the location was perfect for visiting family and friends in town. Close to town centre, shops, bars, restaurants and supermarkets if required.

Although the room was spacious it was difficult to heat with the one electric radiator. In a ground floor room you could clearly hear the residents above moving around their room. Also my phone and iPad struggled to stay connected to the wifi. Whilst reception advised this was likely due to the hotel being full, in this day and age a strong wifi connection would be of much benefit.

This hotel is simply fantastic. From the minute you hit reception you are welcomed with a genuine smile. Each and every staff member has been friendly. Rooms are spacious and spotless. The handsoap in bathroom smells amazing as does all of the body wash etc, full sizes can be purchased from reception. The food is amazing. Breakfast selection and service second to none. The hotel also does entertainment eveni gs so will be returning for one of those in the coming months.

Not hotels fault l, but if coming by train 15/20 minutes walk. You are better getting a taxi from station only around £5 so really worth it.

Absolutely Amazing place, second time we have visited this year and its the best hotel we have ever stayed at, my husband who's in a wheelchair chair felt so at ease and Laura, Vhairi and Jake in the restaurant made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them and always had time for a chat they made our stay, being able to have a lovely cooked breakfast in our room was lovely, a pleasure we can't praise them enough, will definitely be going again! Thank you

Nothing we didn't like, but hopefully one day they may get a accessible bath or even a fold down seat over the bath as it would make it a bit easier!

We liked the Pavillion cafe for lunch, lunch was delicious and reaaonably priced, we were at an event in the evening and the food was exceptional too, breakfast in the blues bar was amazing aswell. The price for what we had was brilliant and would highly recommend. The staff were so helpful and accomodating

Everything was perfection. Couldn't have asked for anything else. Possibly more shower gel/body wash in the rooms
