Bewdley Hill House

The location was perfect for our trip to the safari park . David and Debbie were very welcoming and nothing was to much trouble You pre order your cooked breakfast, which was delicious with offers of extra coffee/tea /juice and toast during breakfast. There is free on site parking . Our room was a twin with a small en suite , tv and clock radio. There is a well stocked complimentary tea tray ,towels and toiletries in your room. On checking out David was able to give us some pointers of places to visit which resulted in a lovely couple of hours in Bewdley which is well worth a visit

There was nothing we didn't like.

Friendly, non-intrusive host. Comfy bed, soft toilet paper, great shower. Seriously good breakfast. Tesco express 90 second walk away, for those of us who have a tendency to forget toiletries when traveling. Cosy and charming interior, but not a cramped room. Tower fan provided for those extra warm evenings. Perfect for my work trip. I would definitely stay again! Thanks Debbie!

The only downside I can think of is that I was only there for one night. Would have happily spent the week!

Bewdley Hill House is on a main road leading out of Kidderminster, but having a back room I did not notice this. The family were very friendly giving me a double room at the rear of the house even though I was staying just the one night. Initially I could not find the house but fortunately I had the house number in my papers as my (foreign) navidator dumped me about 3/4 miles from the house itself and I spent a while trying to find it. In the area there are two recommended restaurants, the first being a little farther away and a Green King house. By 7.40 however this restaurant had run out of three of the dishes I tried to order so I went to the restaurant closer to the house, also a brewers restaurant, but a loal brewer and had a much better choice.

There is nothing I could complain about, but if you have a room facing the main road it might be a little loud

Everything!!!! Was nice to stay in a home rather than in a hotel, although there's nothing wrong with hotels! Great place, room, location, value for money, cleanliness....and a great breakfast!....And top of all that Debbie and David are a lovely couple/people!!!! Couldn't have stayed in a nicer, more comfortable place!....And if you're going to stay at Bewdley Hill House; please show some respect to Debbie and David and their lovely place, it's not rocket science!!!!

The owners were friendly & helpful. They helped me with my luggage, which was much appreciated. The room was very clean & comfortable. Breakfast was good. I have food allergies & they made sure there was plenty I could eat. Despite being on a busy road, it was quiet inside.

The shower wasn't very powerful, but that's a personal preference. The water was hot enough & there was sufficient power for a decent shower.

Hi i would like to start by saying that we were greeted by David on our arrival who i took to be a thoroughly nice host put us at ease straight off has for our accommodation it was well more than adequate we were 2 flights of stairs up but was asked did we need help with our luggage which i thought was a nice touch room was spotlessly clean everything we needed was on hand last but not least breakfast which i give a 10 out of 10 everything you wanted from tea to coffee to juices cereals toast brown or white and a very good full English all in all a really good stay so thank you David and Debbie and we will certainly stay with you again when in the area. last thing i would like to say is i think David and debbie undersell themselves has i would not have had any qualms about paying more thank you both for a very nice stay

Very clean, and welcoming. Bathroom had both a shower and bath.

This is purely personal choice, The bath sink and toilet were bright tangerine, but in fitting with the style of the property, I think most people are used to white as said purely personal don't let my coment put you off visiting everything was spotlessly clean and in good working order.

Breakfast was a wide choice, pre-booked and was efficiently produced next morning and everything just as I liked it. Excellent home-made marmalade produced as well that could be purchased. Room was nicely warm and although it overlooked the main road outside, was really quiet. No late-night (or early-morning) door banging either! Good parking available and easily manageable. Staff really efficient and friendly. Great for railway enthusiasts too!

The whole experience. A Very warm welcome from David. Great location, spotlessly clean room and very comfortable. Whilst I'm not a fan of pre ordered breakfast it was very nice to come down to a freshly cooked breakfast as opposed to food that has been sat for hours.

A bit dated, perhaps that should read....'had character' but I think that's because I usually stay in corporate soleless hotels.

Breakfast was freshly cooked and piping hot - appreciate the previous night ordering as it made the breakfast 'wait' minimal. Room lovely with ensuite . Shower easy to use with plenty of hot water. Even had a fan in room should I have needed one

Needed an extra pillow - had to 'borrow' one from other bed in room! Sure I could have asked and very likely been supplied one - but it after booking in and returning from eating later on I realised
