Room / bathroom / kitchen well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked for continental breakfast with cereals, friut, juice, tea, coffee, bread, bagels, ham, cheese, snack bars and more. There was a microwave for heating an evening meal if required. Also a dining table, TV and sofa. I was able to have breakfast very early when I would normally expect not to get anything. The bedroom was standard double bedroom. Bathroom (sole use but not ensuite) had a good and spacious shower. Off road parking available. Co-op and chippie and Indian restaurant all very closeby

Entrance and corridors looked a bit tired and in need of decaration (but not the actual accommodation rooms) I had to walk down a passageway to get to the bathroom

great room, bed was brilliant. firm mattress & quality bedding. Location is remote for sure but I was there on business. There’s a train station nearby. the room was clean & tidy & the staff were brilliant. the bar downstairs was a perfect way to round the day off & there was a well stocked shared kitchen room with cereals, milk & tea/coffee & food to make a sandwich with. Even though the bathroom is shared, I didn’t see anybody & the shower was nice & hot. A totally rare find & an excellent stay.

On arrival we were welcomed by Martin who took us to our room and explained the layout and told us about the surrounding area. The friendly locals in the bar made us very welcome. Leticia and Evelyn behind the bar were also very friendly. The idea of the shared kitchen is great which means you can have a long lie and have breakfast when it suits . The rooms are clean and very comfortable and the beds are amazing. We will be back.

Staff very pleasant and helpful .bed very comfortable room a good size. Bar below and Indian restaurant adjoining. Very clean. breakfast was made by us in lower kitchen / sitting room . Plenty to eat for a continental breakfast.

Very clean, very friendly. Continental breakfast and kitchen great. Staff helped me when I was unwell. Great location imo - just off the A96, quiet and rural, near the Gordon castles, Inverurie and Aberdeen - the latter two accessible by bus, train and car, castles tend to need a car.

central location. laid back but well decorated, modern and clean. bar downstairs but never heard anything when in my room even with music on as you enter. would stay again.

A little gem of an hotel . Everything was excellent. Friendly welcome . Indian food was exquisite. Beautiful room and friendly locals in the bar .

I was met by Leticia hotel manager.and she was superb couldnt ask for any better.the room was comfy. Spotless.and the bed was great.toilet facilities 1st class. The food was there for breakfast great hotel.

There was nothing not to like.

Rooms were clean and big. Bed was large and comfortable. A communal kitchen was available to eat in. Staff were very friendly and helpfull. A great place to stay.

Our driver Paul drove from London to Scotland on a job so we booked him to stay at the commercial hotel. He couldn’t speak highly enough of the staff and the locals in the pub. Super friendly and he wants to go back here when his next Scotland job comes in.
