Very friendly staff and always accommodating. Very well organised and helped to create a positive atmosphere. Food excellent and well presented.

Going back to London. Not able to stay longer.

Went with my wife to watch James blunt so travelled to Glasgow by train location of hotel was excellent wonderful staff very welcoming and informative hotel room was spacious comfy bed large bathroom with a great shower breakfast was great with a good selection that will cater for everyone's dietary needs staff were very polite and welcoming with a warm good morning and on leaving wishing you a pleasant day

Only one chair,sink took a while to drain television on one night caused a problem with the people in the adjacent room even though it was on low volume they proceeded to bang on the wall to which we turned it down even more so it was barely audible and they proceeded to knock on the wall again and then two minutes later they were at the door banging furiously to which I opened the door but they had run off which I thought was very brave of them lol and then five minutes later a young man from reception arrived to say he had a report of loud noise from our room he was very apologetic and could see and hear there was no problem and wished us a good night and left.So just be aware of the television on the wall and it's volume and just to say this was half past ten at night so not late

Champagne bar is not adequately staffed to enjoy. Service is poor and I left.

The hotel was beautiful and staff were amazing. We were upgraded to a suite as it was my husbands birthday and wine, biscuits and chocolate covered strawberries were left for us. Breakfast is a buffet with everything you could possibly want, the scrambled eggs were amazing.

Unfortunately there was only one lift that was working which meant very long waits for it to arrive as we were on the 5th floor. Also impossible to get a table in the champagne bar. There is a little room called the champagne corner and it would be nice if this could be left for the use of hotel residents even if just for a couple of hours in the evening. Plumbing was also noisy.

The restaurant was terrible. We ate there once and never went back. However, he service was very good. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby Afternoon tea was good. The breakfast was terrible as well. The potato scones were hard and difficult to cut, and the bacon was like leather. The management should try eating there regularly. I have been to Scotland several times and never had a breakfast experience like this.

We had an absolutely beautiful room in a beautiful hotel. Twin room was roomy, spacious, and very comfortable. Bathroom was huge with powerful shower and full sized bathtub. Amenities were excellent with full sized bottle of water provided each day. Next to the Central train station and easy to access the buses as well. Close to food, shopping, and the bus back to the airport. Wonderful hotel with excellent staff.

No Microwave or mini-refrigerator in the room, which would have been very nice. Night time was a little bit loud from the street noise. The breakfast was delicious but the line for the coffee machines became long and the food was the same everyday without any variations.

I really liked the atmosphere and décor in the hotel, it felt unique and stylised....glamourous yet a simple design and colour scheme. The location was perfect for us being inside of the central station. Our room was very comfortable, especially the bed! The price was very reasonable for the beauty of the place. We loved the breakfast, there were lots of options and all high quality.

There appeared to be a fan in our room that I couldn't turn off, I am not sure if it was air conditioning or heating. I didn't sleep as well as I could because of the noise. However I could have gone downstairs and asked (which I didn't).

The room was really unusual as we had a junior suite right up on the 5th floor. Such fun to have a little sitting room. Also there was a little reading corner in a raised alcove. The whole building was full of surprises though. I really loved it, especially the portraits of famous guests, and the Champagne Central decor. Also, equally important, the staff were lovely. In the breakfast room they really looked after me and made sure I had gluten-free everything I needed. Not only that, it was the best g-f bread I've ever tasted. Nothing was too much trouble for them in the kitchen.

There was nothing I disliked. I loved it all.

Staff were without exception wonderful, particularly Dylan who checked us in, Rachel who sorted out my worry about a card payment and the wonderful capable and friendly concierge who was able to sort us out with an emergency shoe repair! Also, and just by coincidence, we got Room 309, which is exactly opposite the office of fictional Glasgow detective Lennox, from the series by Scottish crime writer Craig Russell. This was a big plus for us as we're big fans of the Lennox series. The books are in Waterstones on Sauchiehall Street at the moment.

One of the lifts was broken which created a bit of congestion. Also the notice on the lift did not actually say 'out of order'. If English wasn't your first language, you might have struggled with the flamingoes bit!

I recently stayed at Grand Central and couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm hospitality and attentive service. The check-in process was smooth, and I was immediately impressed by the beautiful decor. My room was spotless, well-appointed, and incredibly comfortable, with a cozy bed and all the amenities I could need. The view from my room was great and much better than the triangle tracks of last time. Housekeeping was impeccable, Kevin who we met was absolutely fantastic and really ensured everything was perfect for our special night away. The facilities were equally outstanding, and a special mention to the bar staff within the Champagne Bar 🍾 The hotel’s location was also ideal, as we travelled by train. Overall, I can’t recommend The Grand Central enough for anyone looking for a high-quality experience. I’m already looking forward to my next stay
