Lovely buzzing pub in a good location. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and just what we needed for the nights stay. Access on the evening was easy with the card key on the side door and it was nice to have a separate entrance so we didn’t have to go through the busy bar every time. The included breakfast was so good! I had vegetarian fry up and my partner had a normal one and it was delish. The scrambled eggs were perfect!! We would definitely come back.

maybe a bit pricey for a pub room but that may just be my view. it was nice. we stayed during a bitterly cold spell and the room was not warm. staff responded by trying to contact plumber to sort boiler but speedily provided us with a fan which quickly heated the smaller room in the interim. we were dependent on that for our 2 days due to poor radiator output. we did however have enough warmth. just one of those things.

Lovely room, very spacious bed, and large shower facilities. Lovely theme both me and my partner loved the old wood theme. The food we ate was delicious and probably some of the best we've ever had at a hotel. We wish we could've finished the portion we were given.

We would've liked more tea or coffee for our room, but that's just mine and my partner's preference we usually stay in our room for a majority of the night when stay but that is the only complaint, and its not even that big of a deal.

Great room, very clean, modern style. Great food in the pub, very good value and good menu. No air con in the room but a fan was provided. It was hot that day and night.

Water pressure was poor so took an age to run a bath in the late afternoon, but it was a little better in the morning. As it was very warm at night we had the windows open but as our room was on the front, we got all the noise from people outside the pub. Avoid rooms 6, 7 and 9, they are on the front. Apart from those two points it was a great stay.

Excellent hotel. Recently refurbished to an excellent standard with a large free car park, a garden area, and is in a handy location for the South Manchester area. Excellent bar and dining facilities. Super full English breakfast. (The menu looked good, although I didn't actually get to eat there.) An excellent selection of beers on tap. Very, very helpful and friendly staff. (Thank you!) Travelling to/from the airport? There is a double decker bus service every half hour, which takes 15 minutes, and stops right in front of the hotel, which is much cheaper and more fun than taking a taxi!

Bear in mind that it is a hotel & pub, so when it's nice weather there are people enjoying a drink on the terrace until late in the evenings, which can be quite noisy in the bedrooms. (No problem of course if you are on the terrace yourself enjoying a nice drink.)

comfortable bed, had a good room this time, some rooms are significantly better than others, we stay here often so are starting to request the rooms we prefer!

Breakfast was disorganised! we kept having to ask for things that should have been readily available - side plates for toast, ketchup, butter etc, the poor girl was worn out back and forth! but a lot of this could have been easily avoided. Breakfast itself was fine, eggs were hard instead of soft and no black pudding, which has happened the last 2 times as well- take it off the menu if you don't have it! otherwise it was fine

We arrived around midnight due to our late flight into Manchester. We advised the hotel in advance as we would be arriving so late and arrangements were made to ensure the duty manager was there to warmly welcome us with a happy smile when we finally arrived. Lovely breakfast, hot and freshly cooked, served with a genuine smile. Again, nothing was too much. This place is a gem which we will continue to use whenever we fly from Manchester. Thank you all.

It was all perfect and a lovely way to end our holiday.

Wonderful inn and pub. Nicely renovated and clean. Amazing service from the staff. Great British hospitality. Breakfast was very good with nice variety of freshly cooked to order options. Lively spacious pub with great food and drink options. Lots of parking. We will definitely be back and highly recommend anybody looking for a place to stay.

Nothing it exceeded all of my expectations

We liked the friendly atmosphere- quite a busy pub but civilised and not noisy with plenty of nooks to sit and chat. The breakfast was excellent- one of the best we've had recently. We liked all the old photos of the area on the walls. The history of the building was intriguing.

The room was very warm, not helped by the weather. There was a strange double door entry system- difficult to navigate with cases

Our reason for coming to Cheadle Hulme was to attend a friends funeral, right from the start we were impressed with the hotel, the room was comfy and welcoming, as were the staff who at check in were very helpful, that evening we and the family spent some much needed down time in your garden, the pub was very lively, we had a lovely supper,

I cannot find fault with any of our stay, the breakfast was excellent!!
