Lovely welcome at check-in. Lady who greeted us was very friendly and helpful. We had a meal in the restaurant, which was good and excellent value for money. Rooms overall were very comfortable. Very clean with good facilities- the room on ground floor had a wet room. Rooms are not huge, but perfect for an overnight stay. The property is an excellent choice for a pre-flight overnight stay. Would most definitely stay again.

We were a party of 4, so booked 2 rooms. One room on ground floor was absolutely fine. However, the room on the first floor was uncomfortably hot(very hot). Our friends had both fans on all night. We did stay ay the end of a heatwave in September, so that probably didn't help, and on the plus -side, there were fans available.

The location was excellent as we were visiting the Bristol Aerospace Museum (which was brilliant by the way!) on our way to Devon. I think many people use the inn as an overnight stay prior to going to the airport so there could be potential for noise as they leave early in the morning. However, we'd asked for a quiet room at the back of the inn and were given room 20 which is in a little row of rooms around the back and separate to the main building. It was great and we weren't disturbed at all by comings and goings. The food in the restaurant was of good quality and very reasonably priced, as were the drinks. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Pleasant welcome from lady behind bar and effortless check in for a one-night stay for my husband. Comfortable and spotlessly clean bedroom and bathroom. Tasty and decently priced pub food and nice outdoor raised seating area and beer garden with views out over countryside. Bar staff member James was particularly helpful when card machine unfortunately went down on the night. Having no cash to hand, my husband had to use QR code, which he was not familiar with. James, to his credit, despite the pub being busy, was extremely patient in guiding him on how to use it. A credit to the Fox & Goose and Marston's Inns was hubby's verdict.

We stayed in room 7 which we requested as we have stayed in this room before. It does face the busy main road but it doesn't bother us and didn't keep us awake. We didn't hear anyone else coming or going so in that sense the room was quiet. Parking is behind the pub. Food is really lovely, we didn't have breakfast this time due to an early flight. The staff here are really friendly and welcoming. I will definitely stay here again.

Missing breakfast! I know from our previous stay it is really good.

This is our second visit and we will definitely stay again! We book because of the close proximity to Bristol airport but also because it’s a lovely pub! Very warm, friendly and inviting with a beautiful fireplace. The food menu is very good with plenty of choice…although we didn’t eat this time we did last time and it was very tasty! Accommodation is beautiful and clean, we booked the family room this time and it was bigger than we expected with a separate room for the kids (with their own TV which went down a treat!!) Tea and coffee making facilities provided (with biscuits :D) and a few oil filled radiators to keep up nice and toasty (much appreciated given that it dropped down to freezing whilst we were there) Already looking forward to our next visit!

If I was being really picky, the staff could have been a bit more attentive at check-in. I appreciate we arrived quite late in the evening and the pub was quite busy, but I feel like there could have been someone dedicated to checking in guests, knowing that we were due to arrive. But it wasn’t a problem for us and didn’t affect our stay, just an observation 😊

Stayed with 2 children and my sister for an early morning flight. We had 2 rooms which were next to each other as we had asked for. Really close location to airport. Hotel was really accommodating, free large carpark, excellent beer garden and out door space with beautiful views. Rooms were clean and had all that was needed. Food in restaurant was excellent and all the staff we met were really lovely. Highly recommend. Haven't stayed before but will definitely stay again.

Lovely old building with plenty of character. Dinner was appetising and good value. All staff were friendly and efficient.

Outside decking area was a little tired - could do with a makeover. Having chosen to eat outside during a lovely evening - we were surrounded by smokers. Why do outside areas have to be a smokers' paradise and practically a no go area for non-smokers? - Unless you enjoy passive air contamination!

Lovely stay at the Fox and Goose. We had 2 rooms and these were next to each other. Due to the heatwave, fans were already on in the rooms which was a welcome addition and they were clearly thinking ahead to make our stay comfortable. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and enjoyed our food, the owners were lovely people and we even met Sarah Ferguson at the bar! Breakfast was lovely - you are given a menu when you arrive and are able to choose what you would like. Really enjoyed our stay as a stop over on the way to Cornwall. We would recommend the Fox and Goose to others.

Newly refreshed rooms fully redecorated with new furniture and new bathroom/shower - all very nice. Good Breakfast. Nice Garden area. Great position for the Airport and for the Bristol Balloon Festival. Really enjoyed our stay.

Stayed for 4 nights - No room clean due to no cleaning staff over the weekend/Monday? The Manager did supply towels and freshen up after request on day 2 but did not empty the bin. Decking area needs some TLC/clean and general re paint externally & in common areas but this would be down to Marston's Brewery.

This was a super find. Very good setting, good views of countryside and Bristol from a large garden and a big deck area to eat. Well placed f (good road access), in the green belt and only 30 mins to Bristol centre or the Airport. The room I was had been redecorated recently in a well thought out modern way with a good desk, hanging space, teas and coffees etc and a comfy bed with good lighting and lots of charge points for devices — and even in this heat wave (July 22) kept cool. Bathroom was a wet room and lovely fluffy towels. Staff and owner exceptionally friendly and professional, made to feel very welcome. Food was good, service good and a good selection to meet most tastes, burger selection was very good and obviously home made.

Nothing, this was a well run establishment and a very pleasant stay.
