The rooms are well equipped with a very comfy bed . Walk in shower . The bar is very nice but sometimes quiet of vane vending The staff were very nice and helpful . Best to preorder your breakfast if you want it 8am as it will be a good half hour wait . For someone going to work this could be a bit late

I stayed here last year and there was a choice of cereals, juices etc . This year you got your tea of coffee as you sat down then waited for your breakfast . By that time you had finished your coffee . Not sure why the continental help yourself has stopped but I am assuming it’s todo with cost and waste . The price of a beer is a bit high , between £5.50 and £6 . Some places in the surrounding area were a lot cheaper .

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by really friendly and attentive staff. Even though we we’re too early for check in they tried to get us to the room but it wasn’t quite ready. However they took all our things up for us anyway. The food is yummy and having a resident discount is great value. We ate lunch, dinner and breakfast the next morning and everything was delicious. The avocado toast was the best I’ve ever had! We had the larger room at the front of the hotel. Really spacious, clean and decorated in a really homely style unlike a lot of stale hotels. It was also only just slightly more than the premier inn (and we upgraded) so great value for money. On top of all the that you couldn’t beat the location! Right in the market square! We would definitely stay again.

Nothing it was all excellent!

The room was beautiful but VERY warm! A fan was provided as for some, opening a window wouldn’t be an option due to the location. We didn’t mind the hustle and bustle of the market setting up in the Saturday morning. Nice touch with the coffee machine & homemade cookies. To make it fully high end, add a Bluetooth speaker & a mini bar? The bar & restaurant area is clean and looks the part & the food was good.

The price of drinks! £5.10 for a pint & £9.75 for a glass of wine?! We had one drink because of this. Make those prices a bit more competitive and people may stay longer?

We stayed from Monday to Friday in late February. Our spacious room was above the restaurant and faced the market square, but we were never troubled by noise from within or without. Furnishings included a glorious huge soft bouffant lampshade above the comfortable king-size bed. The room was tidied and made up before midday, every day. It's a charming old building, and all hotel staff were unfailingly welcoming and friendly. Restaurant food was good and servings ample.

No significant complaints at all. (Well, I suppose the eleven stairs to the first floor are quite steep, so we old folk might appreciate an alternative handrail on the other side.)

Lovely room, nicely decorated, huge comfy bed, bath in room which was lovely, coffee machine and delicious homemade cookies, very clean throughout,

Nothing really, view from our room was over rooftops but we didn't spend any time looking out of the windows so not an issue. Even though I spoke to a member of staff before arrival regarding car park, the post code she gave me sent me to the front of the pub, had no idea how to find the carpark so went to Spencer Street carpark and paid £6 for 24 hours so not expensive and less than 10 minutes walk away.

The team at the King's Head were exceptional, we booked for 2 nights with family and had our wedding reception there. I saw 4 of the rooms and we stayed in the suite, all of the rooms were absolutely beautiful and so clean. Everyone of the team couldn't have been more helpful from the moment we booked to when we were leaving. The food is delicious and for location, quality and just general overall experience you cannot go wrong booking here. 10 out of 10 and thank you for making our wedding day so special, we will be back same time next year for our 1st anniversary!

Nothing, it was all fabulous.

The Staff we're really welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and we had 3 good nights sleep. We were given a free breakfast due to the radiator not working in our bathroom, which was a really nice gesture and we appreciated it. We would stay again when visiting Beverley.

The radiator in our bathroom did not work. one of the managers did try to fix it but realised they would need an electrician, which they could not get at the weekend (which we understood that). We were offered another room but decided to stay where we were.

Absolutely lovely room and pub, facilities were excellent quality and the food was delicious. And the bed... wow... so comfy! As we were visiting for a wedding, we asked to enter the room earlier than the original check-in time and they accommodated us beautifully, ensuring that our room was the first to be cleaned so that we could get into our room to change and get to the wedding on time. The manager even ended up tying my shoe for me as I was running down the stairs in very high heels and a rush. I can't thank the staff enough, such lovely people who are very accommodating. Would definitely stay again!

Exceptional hotel in the very centre of the historic market town of Beverley in East Yorkshire. Great central location for shops, bars and pubs. We booked a suite at a very reasonable price, we had a separate bedroom, bathroom, dressing area and lounge. The lounge included a Victorian type free standing bath! The check-in was quick and simple. The young lady showed us to the room. Little extras included great toiletries, tea pigs, 2 x TV's and a couple of packets of a salted nuts and chocolate mixture, yum. The room was very clean with a lovely bed. We went out for dinner but returned later to the great bar area for really well priced drinks. Breakfast was served in the separate restaurant. Great choice of hot and cold. Tea and coffee was served at the table. We chose the eggs benedict at £8 extra which was first class. All in all a great place to stay, I would really recommend this pub/hotel. Five stars!

A light over the tea making tray would have been nice, but that's all!

Loved everything about the kings head in a great location for the what the town has to offer and only a few minutes walk from the railway station. Got a nice friendly welcome when I arrived and the host checked me in told me about the things I needed to know. Had my breakfast here and also my evening meal and both were excellent. Bedroom and the shower were perfect. The bed was a nice size and very comfortable couldn't wish for better.

Nothing absolutely fine for me.
