Leon in the bar was great as was the rest of the bar staff. Dagmara at reception was amazing! Got me on a Black Taxi tour last-minute that I wasn't able to secure by myself. Beautiful bar!

Breakfast service on the weekend: the waitress was a bit short with me and took 20 minutes to take my hot food order. I was already full by the time it arrived. The walls are thin in the hotel. An amorous couple next door kept me up until 3 am with their noise.

We were supposed to spend two nights in the malmaison but ended up extending our trip by 3 extra nights. The staff are amazing! They really go above and beyond for guests!! Special thanks to James the night supervisor, George the Night manager and Carlos and Natasha in the bar! They went above and beyond for us on our trip and nothing was an issue for them. They’re a credit to their employer and it’s because of them we will be back and recommend the Malmaison to all our friends and family. The hotel itself is fab and I couldn’t fault our room, room was also cleaned everyday and hotel is in the perfect location.

Lovely hotel in a great location for shops, bars and restaurants! Staff were busy but very friendly and went out if their way to help, especially Julia on Reception, Natalia, working hard on making cocktails and Keeleigh in the restaurant!!

Unfortunately, our experience in the restaurant wasn't great, food took ages to arrive, if at all. An hour between starters and main courses arriving! However, both Keeleigh and Natalia went out of their way to help and cannot fault their service...it was a shame the restaurant let them down on this occasion!

The reception staff were very polite and friendly. Any comments were addressed at the time of checking in. The decor of the hotel and rooms was tasteful. I usually stay at the AC Marriot, now having stayed here i feel this will be my preference.

The breakfast service was lacking to be honest. Staff service could have been a lot more attentive, the food choices were limited, and to add further confusion the priced menu did not make clear whether this was an additional charge to the already paid-for room with B&B.

Breakfast was fairly good, wide range of stuff ,lots of choices big buffet. I would've liked a few low sugar options( like natural yoghurt) and wholemeal bread, coffee was from a amd I found it very poor I would've pot of french press instead of looking for staff for a second cup.Staff were nice and friendly and relaxed. The rooms were very dark. I couldn't find my glasses and wished for more light.

I wish the hotel provided umbrellas 🌂 It was very wet.

There were a few things that were disappointing and basic in a hotel of this supposed 'calibre', just evidence of 'penny pinching' and a lack of general care and maintenance. The room had no bathtub just a shower, disappointing given the gallery showing beautiful bathrooms and bathtubs, no full length mirror in the room, not enough towels; just one bath and one hand towel each, no facecloths or any extra towels, only one tea bag each, limited nespresso pods, no drawer space, cracked sink in bathroom, leaking shower and generally too dark. And a general lack of staff, but appreciate there is a labour market crisis. Overall just no abundance. Come on Malmaison, step it up, we need you on the hotel landscape!

Location was perfect; staff very good and helpful - we had no TV remote in our room on arrival but one arrived v quickly. Breakfast great too. We booked three rooms as travelling with both our mothers and their rooms were fine.

Our first room not great - very small high window which didn't open very wide and it was therefore too warm and rather dark. Safe wasn't working either and although staff did their best it couldn't be sorted. However, when we asked to move rooms it was sorted and we were upgraded to a room with air con at the front of the hotel which was also much more light and spacious.

Staff were superb. Super friendly, really accommodating, informative, chirpy and switched on. Great breakfast. We had a very much unplanned last minute visit for UK Passport Office as the only place there were appointments!!! Mega stress, but staff were very reassuring and helpful with taxis, calm air and charm in our chaos. Belfast is a great city with thoroughly charming people, old buildings, pubs, shops etc. Will returnn:)

Breakfast was excellent. Great choices, continental, cereals, fresh fruit etc. Bonus was the Hot food was cooked to order, However I hate having to use those toasting machines as they rarely actually toast the bread. Beautiful dining room. It's a very old building and the rooms have exceptionally tall ceilings.

The reception comprised of 2 tables with electronic equipment on top. We weren't sure if it was actually the reception area. This welcome for guests could be greatly improved.

Firstly, the staff are exceptional. All started at check in by Shannon. She set the level and then all the other team members were great too. The restaurant food was amazing and with the package I had it was absolutely worthwhile! I would totally come back and stay again because if really felt like each and every one of them cared about you!
