Hampton Inn Las Vegas/North Speedway

WE stayed on Sunday July 9 (great experience) and on the way home, July 16, a little difference experience on the 16th.

The front desk woman on the 9th was more than helpful and courteous. However, on the 16th, a young African-American man was there or should I say, should have been there. I stood at the counter for probably 2-3 minutes and then finally turned around and found him playing on his phone in the breakfast room. He then came over. He was not particularly polite or helpful. I had already paid for the room. He said, "you used card number ending in ----- and I said, no, that was not the card is used. Confusing question. I asked for a cold bottle of water and he gave me a warm one. He did not get my recommendation.

Bed and pillows were great, showerhead and water flow were very good, cleanliness was very good, TV channel selection and TV size very good .... those are my basic criteria for rating any hotel. Breakfast downstairs included with stay was surprisingly good (I usually don't eat any breakfast ... did every morning).

For 2 of my 4 nights, I think there was a mentally deranged person in the room next to me. They appeared to be by themselves with a related person next door to them. Like clockwork every 2.5 hours this person started a screaming fit and you hear that and all of the commotion of the person next door rushing out of there room into the room with the panicked person. Messed up my sleep quiet a bit. It would have been much better if that person could have had a corner room in the hotel. I did pray a lot for God to heal that person ... nobody's fault, but more challenging life long for that family than for me for two nights.

I liked the cleanliness of the hotel and room. The room was a regular size room. I did request extra towels and blankets, and I didn't receive them. I had no idea you offered breakfast, I missed it. The price was expensive for 1 night. Staff was friendly.

I did not like the price.

The breakfast was our favorite part. The bed was super comfortable. Overall it was a pretty nice stay.

The lady at the front desk was kind of a jerk to us. We’re young, but both 21+. I guess we gave her sketchy vibes because she kept treating us like we were running game on her.

the tv guide probably update it to show with a button not on a channel and more clothes drawers not much space for clothes

Breakfast was great Kathy one of the food preps she was so kind to me and my family

The location was easy to get to. The hotel was quiet. There was breakfast in the morning and all the staff was great

The elevator was a little creepy and the button was out of socket

The fridge in the room was running very loud so we had to unplug it. But the hotel itself was nice clean & safe. We were in Vegas to visit family and this spot worked great. For some reason booking.com cancelled our reservation. No idea why but the staff was so accommodating for a holiday weekend and was still able to het us a room.

check in was great, rooms are very spacious and comfortable.

Around 10 the cleaning staff was cleaning across the hall in some of the other rooms. We were woken up by it because they were blasting music and yelling at each other about what had to be done. It was very distracting and frustrating. We even called the front desk, and the only answer we got was "they will be done soon". I find it VERY unprofessional and distracting to have such conduct by the cleaning staff.

My son forgot his toothbrush and toothpaste they were so nice they gave him a completely one. The staff were so nice. The breakfast was great. No complaints.
