Wyndham Garden Hotel - Jacksonville

One of the only hotels I have ever stayed at that did not have coffee in the mornings. I left a hotel the morning before that cost considerably less and they had coffee not only in the morning but all night. I asked the manager and his reply was you have coffee in the rooms. Yes, but the other hotel had coffee in the rooms. When you need to get up and get going you don’t have time to brew coffee in the room. I know you may think this is a minor item to complain about but how many other hotels in your group does not serve coffee in the morning. This is a small item versus the cost of the rooms but something that can get your customers off to a better start to their day.

We loved everything about this hotel. The staff was welcoming as soon as we went inside. The hotel is very clean as well as the room, we booked a king room for 2 nights and I can say this was one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed at. The bed was comfortable and the sheets felt so nice and they gave us plenty of towels which I loved because ever since covid hotels don't clean your rooms everyday like they use to now u have to ask for clean towels but because of the extra ones there was no need to make a trip to the front desk. The location is great because it is next to mayor roads so u can go in any direction and get where u need to be fairly quickly. We are planning to go back to Jacksonville next week and will be staying here again. 🙂 and they do have a restaurant also.

Loved everything

Everybody was nice the room was clean everybody was respectful and it smiles on their face all the time I would definitely recommend this to a friend family member anyone staying outside of their zone I would definitely recommend myself

I got bit by a spider and had to go to the emergency room I've been dealing with that for 48 hours now I still have my reservation for a couple more days hopefully everything will go as good as the first couple

The staff was very kind my kids had a lot of fun at the pool that was clean. And the fitness area was very nice. It was exceptional for the nightly price. It was extremely convenient to have a refrigerator and microwave which a lot of hotels these days don't have.

The elevator was very slow. The water pressure was very weak in the bathroom. The TV went out once during the night for abt 30min

The beds were very comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The room was very clean

I’m not sure if the walls were extremely thin or the plumbing is just really loud but it’s like I could hear every flush and sink running in the room next to us. Additionally, the parking in the front is limited so we had to park out back the first night and the door would not unlock so we had to walk around to the front of the the hotel to get in.

Everything was clean and our room was ready for an early check in. The pool area was very nice as well. A lot of food nearby and Walmart not to far either.

The restaurant they advertise is very over priced and limited selection. No other food option unless you leave and get something from somewhere else. Elevators are a little sketchy but they didn't break down on us...

There was no breakfast available to us. And we had some difficulty finding the hotel. But the desk service was pleasant and efficient, the room was clean and bed was very comfy.

The toilet would run intermittently all night, tho’ we tried to make it stop.

My biggest issue is many hotels have too firm of mattresses. This hotel had the perfect one for me. I slept well. We had breakfast at the restaurant attached to the hotel. The food and service was awesome!

The fact I would get out of my car in the parking lot and I would not have to smoke the joint to get high because the people in the parking lot were smoking and it was strong. I understand that most places they don't look at that has a big deal but the smoke itself makes me sick to my stomach. I know everyone is short staff but having a security coming in here and there might help with that. In fact the one morning we were eating and a guest was smoking outside the door. I do believe the desk was told about this. (This would not stop me from coming again - just think it should be addressed)

Super comfy bed and spacious.

Came to check in at night and was told there were no luggage carts available and would have to search for one myself if I needed one at 9:30pm. Attendant stated "People probably didn't bring them down but you can try to find one of you need it." Also, shower head was covered in deposits and definitely needed cleaning or replacing.

Nice location very quiet and relaxing not to far from the beach

The doors to the rooms needs to be worked on because they don’t wanna unlock when trying to get into the room. Also Needs to have regular hotel breakfast other than just the restaurant that’s connected to the hotel
