Allium Bodrum Resort & Spa

Our stay at Allium Resort was incredible. The property is absolutely beautiful from every angle. The pool area and cabanas are super relaxing and my husband and I spent many hours just lounging and enjoying ourselves. You can order a variety of food and drink options which were all delicious, particularly the grilled chicken bites with hummus & lavash and the pide. The rooms are beautiful and large. We also got a massage which was the best massage I have ever received, no exaggeration. You can get the massage outside in a cabana with an incredible view of the sea - it is pure relaxation. The breakfast selection is good and the eating area has a beautiful view. The resort also has cats/kittens that sometimes come out and about - so cute! In terms of location, the resort is close to Yakilavak marina and various shops/restaurants. The hotel will help with calling a cab since it is not that easy in Bodrum. It is about a 5 min drive or a 20 min walk (fairly easy walk that my husband and I did twice). The staff are incredible and make you feel so welcome. Special shout out to: Zumre, Koray, Kutlay, Can and Ali. Overall I would highly recommend the Allium and can’t wait to come back!

The most incredible, luxurious, well-maintained, beautiful, attention-orientated property I have ever visited. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, beyond clean and all the staff are exceptionally attentive. Every need and wish was catered to by the wonderful manager Morat. Head of housekeeping Tuva was incredible and the restaurant is unbelievably accommodating. The scenery is absolutely incredible and I couldn't be happier that we had the opportunity to experience hospitality at it's finest. Thank you to everyone at Allium. We are very grateful.

The rooms: I booked a deluxe room and it was fantastic. Huge, like a suite. Very comfortable bed, wonderful shower, ice cold aircon (rare in Turkey) and stunning views across the ocean for sunset. The restaurants: Menu is a mix of Turkish and modern and everything we ordered was delicious. The service is also up there with the best, so friendly, happy and attentive. Staff to guest ratio very high! By comparison we went to the Mandarin Oriental for dinner one evening and it was a total shambles, we rushed back to Allium! The spa: I love spas and I particularly loved this spa. It is small and cosy but you will probably be the only one there due to the small number of rooms. We had a Hammam for 2 (great!) and also a massage - my deep tissue massage was exceptional and really relaxed me for the start of the holiday. Again, the staff are so friendly and attentive, for example - when I went to the sauna and came back they had hung up my dress and tidied my shoes in the changing room. This happens wherever you go in the hotel. Housekeeping: I think they might have a system where they watch you to see when you go to breakfast and run in and clean because it seemed like whenever we left the room we came back and it had been tidied! Tuba who runs the team is very chatty and will help with whatever you need. Overall you can probably tell I absolutely loved this hotel and I have very high standards. I can’t wait to come back.

Nothing it was perfect

Check in was very welcoming indeed! We were upgraded as the first guests of the season. The view from both rooms was brilliant. Decor was just as the pictures describe the rooms, showers were fabulous and cupboard space great - they even had an umbrella which we found useful on one day. The Molton Brown toiletries were a wonderful touch and replenished daily. We often found wonderful home baked treats in our room. Water was free and there were tea and coffee facilities. A daily turn down service was provided and the rooms kept super clean. The sumptuous breakfasts were absolutely incredible! Nothing was too much trouble. The chef regularly came out to greet us and the waiters were so attentive, always there with smiles at our regular table which overlooked the sea - what a treat! They were there to place napkins on our laps and shawls around us when it was breezy. Food was sublime, from pancakes to homemade granola and yogurt, avocado & tofu on sourdough, vegan options, traditional turkish Bodrum breakfasts, fresh pastries, eggs made to order, fresh orange juice and great cappuccinos. They were healthy if you wanted and sweet if you wished (nutella!) and more than plentiful! My teenagers did not want to miss out on the best meal of the day and would forgo sleep to get up which says a lot :) The pool area was beautiful!! Spa was a real treat and we all had massages which I highly recommend - the deep tissue massages were well worth it. The girls there was so kind and welcoming. Steam room was hot and the gym good. We ate out most nights and there are local restaurants with both fish and traditional turkish fare. The town was good for shopping and within walking distance (30 mins). For a chill week, ticks every box. As a family with two teenage girls who were happy to sit by a pool and enjoy the spa, we would not hesitate in returning to this wonderful hotel. It was honestly well worth every penny! Thank you Allium Resort and hopefully see you next year :)

There was absolutely nothing - it exceeded our expectations!

Very beautiful resort in a perfect location - close to the marina and nightclubs area, big and clean rooms, amazing food, perfect spa area and very good and pleasant service by the staff.

I think the concierge service should be improved a bit. Sometimes we got a late response when asked for a reservations and places were already full.

This property was a very pleasant find indeed. I wanted to be near Yalikavak and I chose to stay here with my family based on the pictures posted on booking.com. But pictures though accurate could not communicate the feel of the place accurately. Allium is a boutique hotel, small in size and room numbers; If one is seeking a sprawling property busy with people and water sports activities then this is not the place for them. On the other hand if one seeking a serene place with limited guests and more personal touch service than this is where you want to be, Allium really excelled in making us feel at home. The care my family and I were given was really exceptional. In addition, the property is a nice 15-20 min walk to busy Yalikavak marina, an upscale location with restaurants and high end boutiques. I am Truly happy we chose to stay here. The rooms are spacious and upon arrival we were upgraded to sea view rooms. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. All the amenities you would expect in a luxury hotel is available in the room. With a large wardrobe, a plus for heavy travelers like us. The Hotel is five years old but very well maintained in general and like other hotels of the region occupied a side of a hill with rooms, pool, restaurant and bar located on different levels connected with steps and a roadway for buggies and wheelchairs users. Shaded Daybeds are spread at every level. So you could actually get your workout covered by going around the facilities. Though a sea front hotel, the lack of water sports activities was a plus for me as it encouraged relaxation. The spa is very calming and the massage there was amazing according to my daughter. Cliff is the main restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food here is really good and the service even better. A special shout out to Sevgi and her bubbly attitude that adds fun to the meal. Ali is always helpful and cheerful. We exchanged a few words in Arabic, which he is learning.

I have to really be knit picky to find deficiencies. Having said that, The room could be improved with international electrical outlets so one can plug his/her devises without the need for adapters; Or have adapters in the room instead of at reception.

If you want to enjoy luxury, you should choose this resort, starting with the good reception, the treatment of the staff, the cleanliness, the wonderful food, the staff all work to provide you with comfort, and I especially thank Madame Inna for her cheerful face Whatever you write, it is impossible to describe Thank you all

Everything was amazing, the room is spacious, sea view is great, pool area is gorgeous, and the staff are very kind and helpful. Special thanks to Hediye, Batu, Seymen, Ferhat, and the HK manager Tughe for being so nice and making our stay enjoyable.

The breakfast area is wonderful but i guess the food needs to be upgraded, especially the coffee which was below average.

Honestly, if I could rate this hotel 10 stars, I would. We have never been to a facility that maintained a 7-star service four nights in a row from the time we set foot in their facility. Warm welcome, full introduction of the facility, very clean room with spectacular views of the sea. Housekeeping service twice daily. The restaurant staff was amazing, including the chef. The bar manager was so helpful,l set up a romantic table for us by the fire for dinner on a chilly night. The food including the breakfast was amazing, always the right temperature and balanced flavors. I cannot express in words how blown away I was by this facility. Everyone was so friendly, professional, warm, courteous and amazing.

The only thing I didn't like is that we couldn't extend our time there, We could have stayed forever.🤣 Fell in love with this facility and the entire staff.
