We had a wonderful stay in Istanbul and the hotel. The room was bigger than I expected, amazingly clean and cozy. I read several reviews about the noise at night so I brought earplugs that I didn’t use at end, my room was very quiet. The area is lovey, close to Galata tower, full of bars with live music and restaurants opened until late. I liked a lot being close to a busy area at night. We had an awful experience with the trip to the princess island the hotel booked for us and the staff kindly offered free breakfast the following day. I highly recommend this hotel and I definitely will stay again in my next visit to Istanbul!

Nothing, the hotel is lovely. I do not recommend the organised trip to princess island, however, if you want to go, AVOID GREEN EXPRESS TRAVEL agency. Ask the hotel the name, green express travel will make you waste the whole day waiting in the bus and boat to sell you stuff for at the end, just 2 hours in the island.

this hotel is located very close to the bustling Istiklal street, it is a noisy and lively area, but the hotel is very conveniently located away from all the noise. there is a nice bakery not far (Asmali bakery), as well as convenient stores (Sok and Carrefour) 15-20 min walk down Istiklal from the Havaist stop at Taksim (Havaist 16). easy to find if you follow the google map. it is also 5-10 min walk to the Galata Tower the room is small, but has everything one needs if one plans to explore Istanbul and not spend too much time in the room. bathroom was clean. there is a refrigerator and a small table in the room also, you can ask for house keeping any day, and they provide you with bottled water and instant coffee/tea. staff was polite and nice they allow you to leave your luggage after check put if your flight is later.

one minor minus for us was that there was practically no natural light in the room, there was a window, but it opened to a sort of an indoor courtyard, and the walls were dark colour, so for us there was not enough light in the room, you wake up and it’s still very dark in the room. but anyway the stay overall was great, this was a very minor disadvantage.

The hotel is centrally located, tucked away right off Istiklal street so it’s not noisy, but close enough to get anywhere you need to go. The tunnel/subway, tram station and metro station are all within walking distance. The hotel staff messaged us a few days before our trip and offered to arrange transportation to and from the airport, which we gladly availed because it was reasonably priced and super convenient. They also guided us on what mode of transportation was best to get to the different places we wanted to visit which made everything so easy and hassle free. Next time we visit Istanbul, we would be happy to stay here again.

Me and my partner stayed at Novus Pera for a week to celebrate both of our birthdays. We booked quite a while in advance. The hotel definitely exceeded our expectations generally, especially when you consider how cheap it was. The hotel staff were phenomenal — super knowledgeable, helpful and kind. The fact there's someone at reception 24/7 was great, and the facilities were excellent — free bottled water, a safe, and very clean room (which was the most important thing for me). The wifi worked great too. The room, especially the bathroom, was very modern although the building was old and beautiful with exposed brick. The location was also perfect for us, although quite high up and steep (but we enjoyed the exercise!). Extremely central but also easy to reach every point in the city, whether it is by foot, by tram/metro, or by ferry (we visited the Asian side of the city a couple of times and the closeness to the ferry dock was important to us). The area is full of pubs, jazz bars, clubs and restaurants, so great for feeling a sense of Istanbul at night, too.

We really couldn't fault our stay. The room we stayed in was very small, but it suited our purposes.

This is the best place you could choose for your stay in Istanbul. It's a hidden gem in the heart of Beyoglu, very close to pretty much everything. Istiklal and Sishane station is just a step away, but the street is quiet. The room was unbelievable, huge, clean, amazing design, you feel like you're staying at the castle. We loved absolutely everything about it. The price for this quality of service is super low. The staff was incredibly helpful, arranged transfers, a boat tour and hammam, which was incredible.

Can't think of one thing I didn't like.

Fresh bottled water everyday, fridge that worked, immaculately clean, perfect day staff. Very friendly and laid back. Location - if arriving at night seems intimidating but it really isn't and is the PERFECT location for exploring.

The room was smaller than anticipated but it had a small terrace that made up for it! The beds, because of the shape of the room had no headboard that you could lean against. Small downside in otherwise positive experience.

I arrived at the hotel in the early hours of the morning as I had a late flight. The night receptionist was very nice and helpful assisting me with my baggage to the room. The following day the day time receptionist walked with me several streets to assist me with my luggage and help me locate the taxi he had ordered. The inner open air courtyard where guests can sit is very nice. The hotel is located in an old building. The property has been decorated to incorporate the old with new quirky design features.

A minor issue - one of the in room coffee cups was badly stained.

The old building is beautifully renovated and redesigned for modern convenience. The room was huge and very comfortable and warm in the cold of February. The staff was very welcoming and helpful with restaurant tips. The fluffy hotel cat is cute :)

The hotel is on a small but lively street with bars and restaurants and you could hear the street life from our second floor room which was facing the street.
