Eski Masal Hotel

A lovely picturesque hotel in a ‘traditional’ style, clean and tastefully decorated. The location in the Kaleiçi was very convenient for the tourist shops, restaurants and bars. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and healthy. Staff were excellent. The small swimming pool was cold, but hey, it was November, and I used it anyway. The Ottoman Suite was presidential and very spacious, with two bedrooms (one with a huge double-bed), a large sitting room with comfortable sofas, and a bathroom with a modern shower and a very large hot-tub. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. So, nearly perfect, except for the problem mentioned below.

The exterior walls and windows had no sound-proofing at all, meaning that there was considerable noise from the Kaleiçi of loud music, scooters and motorbikes, and people walking past the hotel just chatting, let alone late-night revellers singing and shouting. That said, it was the weekend, and it died down by about 2am. The hotel itself is very quiet and not next to any noisy bars itself, but they have no control over bars and restaurants down the road playing really loud music (even when they were empty). The suite would suit younger occupants who will be out until late; don’t expect to be able to go to bed early!

The hotel manager was excellent and very helpful. He tried his hardest to make sure we were happy with everything. The hotel is clean and well maintained for an older style hotel. The bathroom is "grand" and large but could do with an update. Shower pressure was not good. The hotel is located in the old town which is central and interesting and very characteristic. Full of history! Breakfast is served at the table in a lovely outdoor setting and it is very good and varied. In all we enjoyed our four night stay. Our room was very large and comfortable but with old fashioned decor that is way past its heydays.

The pool was small. Our room was below ground level so the windows were at road level and gave no fresh air, only a lot of dust, also because there was construction work going on just outside. The bathroom window had to be kept closed and the blinds pulled down for privacy.

Eaki Masal Hotel is a beautiful plane located in the heart of the ancient city Muratpaca, the nightlife of Antalya. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The rooms feel like you’re living in the ottoman period as they are very traditional in style. The amenities are superb, our room had a huge jacuzzi which was amazing. The pool is not huge, but the children had fun nonetheless. Overall a very clean and traditional hotel.

Some issues we had while we stayed at this property is that due to its location, the noise from the pubs and nightlife could be heard from our room. Maybe some sound proof windows would’ve helped, but not much more to say.

Small and cozy hotel with tradition decoration. The room is quite clean and comfortable, bathroom is even equipped with Jacuzzi shower which is very fancy. Breakfast is amazing with a lot of verities and the portion is huge! Very friendly staff, they are happy to answer all kinds of questions. Price value wise it is great!

My room is on the street side, so you could hear car and music in the evening. That might be a problem for light sleepers. Breakfast is at 8:30, it might be late for people who wants to have a tour around the city, most of them starts early.

The location is just perfect, in the heart of the beautiful old city of Antalya, near many restaurants, cafes, bars and shops and only 10 minutes walk from the Marina. The Ottoman Suite was amazing! Large, spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. We were 3 adults and 1 teenager. The staff is super nice and helpful, they all did their best to make our trip so enjoyable, especially Hakan who was so welcoming and kind. Breakfast is excellent! We strongly recommend!

The swimming pool is indeed small, suitable more for relaxing for a while and not for swimming or spending a day in the pool. Also note that in all the hotels in the old city there might be some noise during the nights (especially weekends) due to the so many bars and clubs around, but it was not that bad and was definitely worthing it given the perfect location.

Amazing hotel, shower was disappointing but ok. Staff was great. Property was comfy and cozy. Breakfast was good. Rooms were huge and comfy. Pillows could be better. Room windows could be a bit more private as they are street level. All in we would stay there again, amazing location, lots of great pubs and restaurants to choose from. Definitely go to Odin for the live bands.

Could be a bit loud with the night life around the old town but we didn't mind

Very well appointed with nice furnishings. Large room with big bathroom with jacuzzi. Great staff,especially Hakan and Mehmet, they always asked if there was anything else they could do to make our stay better. Location in old town Antalya was great to walk to restaurants, stores, etc.

The only issue we had was that it could be noisy at night..not from this property but from other close properties.

I had a wonderful time at this hotel with my family. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very kind and helpful, always ready to assist us with anything we needed. They made us feel welcome and appreciated. The breakfast was delicious and varied, with different options every day. We enjoyed the fresh fruits, pastries, eggs, and coffee. The location was also great, right in the city center. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

I stayed at Eski Masal Hotel for 8 nights. I can definitely recommend all of you this amazing hotel. To be honest, that is one of the best hotel I have ever been. Not only in Turkey but also considering Europe. My holiday and time I had were above my expectations. There are many reasons, I really like Eski Masal Hotel. Location of the hotel is perfect, in the heart of the old town. They serve really delicious breakfast, the design, spacious rooms, cleaning service were also wonderful! But one of the most important issue is, that they do care about every single customer, always gave me an advice, help and support: places worth to visit, beaches, transport and many others! The atmosphere was really great because of them and they professional service and customer value. I definitely back to this place and I thank you very much for your hospitality and caring about all small details. What it is also crucial, that during the Covid time, they provide all hygienic and protection stuff and you can fell there really safety.
