Iberostar Selection Diar El Andalous

The hotel is really great for couples and also for families with kids. We travelled with a 9 months old baby and I fully recommend this hotel for anyone with babies, even for ones with young age. Both outside pools have area where a baby -who can crawl and climb- can enjoy the water. Pools are clean. The food was fascinating, every day we could find something delicious also for ourselves and for our son. There are plenty of bread, different type of pizzas, different kind of meat, side dishes and desserts so really a lot of choices. You can ask omlette and pancake to be prepared at breakfast, freshly grilled fish and meat at lunch and dinner. Coctails and drinks are okay as well, you can ask bottled water. The staff is really awesome, they are smiling and friendly all the time, everyone had a good word and some kidnness to us and our son everytime we meet them. The hotel is clean most of the places, they do regular cleanings in common areas and of course in the rooms. You can book several programs in the hotel (via travel agencies and via people offering these). We went with Fredy to Sousse-Medina, you can look for him in the lobby. We went also for a trip with catamaran, this maybe was a bit expensive but we enjoyed the time on sea.

The kids' room was not fully equipped, it is only recommended for older kids (3+ years), I think, because most of the toys (not so many) are for them. The beach was mostly cleaned and well maintained but we found some rubbish anyway. It contained a lot of seaweed, in the sea and on the beach also. The sea contains a lot of rubbish but this is not the hotel's fault, just mentioning it.

While most dishes were enjoyable, there were a few instances where the taste fell short of my expectations. I believe this is an area where a slight improvement can be made to further enhance the overall dining experience. I would like to take a moment to address a concerning incident that occurred during my stay. Unfortunately, my watch was stolen from the pool area. I wanted to bring this to your attention as a reminder to guests to be cautious and ensure the security of their personal belongings at all times. -Check in at reception was very smooth and easy. We were given our room early and received a free upgrade. -The room was spacious and immaculately clean. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom squeeky clean. Fridge very handy. Toiletries of very good quality. Bathrobes and slippers are a bonus. Complimentary fruit basket and a Birthday cake! We also received two bottles of Tunisian olive oil and a couple of coffee mugs as a gift. -Staff are the best. Very polite and attentive. Extremely kind and friendly. -Swimming pools are clean and large. Loungers comfortable. Staff always helpful by the pool. Pool bar great. -Beach very clean. Never seen sand this smooth in my life. Beach showers are very useful. -Spa staff were excellent. Treatments very reasonably priced. -Buffets were very good. Different types of recipes every day. There's always new food varieties to sample. All fresh food. -Overall, the best holiday resort we've ever been to. Will definetely be coming back again. -Thanks to everyone for making our time most enjoyable and relaxing.

We had no concerns at all. Only thing that could be better is an option to book SPA treatments online prior to arrival.

Great staffs, very clean, nice food ranges

We had half board, in dinner we had to pay for any drinks, even water not free in dinner. That’s but weird-how people will eat dinner without drinks?! That should not be the case.

Complex was beautiful, well maintained and had a lovely fresh smell all the time. Staff were so happy and friendly. Animation team were awesome.

Food was ok, hard when catering for so many different tastes. Al a carte restaurant needs revising. Needs to be completely different food to buffet.

Staff is super helpful and nice. They will help you with everything you need with a smile. Also, Francisco, the assistant general manager take care of us, making sure we were comfortable (as we are Spanish, to make sure we didn’t have any problem of communication with the staff). thank you Francisco!! Also, food is really good and you have the beach just in front of you, it’s like being on the Caribbean but closer to Europe :)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Diar El Andalous for 10 days in November, and my overall experience was quite delightful. One of the key advantages of this hotel is its strategic location, which is conveniently close to Enfida airport. This proximity made my arrival and departure hassle-free, allowing me to maximize my time at the hotel. Additionally, the hotel's cleanliness and well-maintained private beach added to the overall appeal. While some rooms appeared slightly outdated, I appreciated the ongoing efforts to renovate them gradually. Despite the older decor, the rooms were consistently clean and provided a comfortable stay. The service deserves special mention, especially in the restaurant and Spa centre. The restaurant staff impressed me with their friendliness and hardworking attitude. The diverse food options provided a delightful culinary experience throughout my stay. The Spa centre, too, left a lasting impression, thanks to the exceptional service from Fathima, the receptionist, and massage therapists Sondes and Houda. Their professionalism and kindness significantly enhanced my relaxation and rejuvenation at the hotel. The animators at the hotel stood out for their creativity and high level of interaction. Their engaging activities and shows added a vibrant atmosphere to the hotel, making it a lively and entertaining place to stay. The energetic and friendly approach of the animators contributed positively to the overall guest experience. I must also commend the young leadership team at the hotel, particularly Imed, who provided outstanding customer service. His attentiveness and dedication were evident throughout my stay. Furthermore, the young assistant director, Mohammed Essayed Gayed, deserves recognition for his respectful and supportive leadership style. His constant presence and encouragement create a positive work environment for the staff, ultimately benefiting the guests.

The resort stands out for its value for money. It's ample enough so you don't feel it crowded, clean, has a good variety in food, the beach is steps away, plus it has a wellness center, theme restaurants (Tunisian and Italian) and organizes fun activities each day (Shows, Aqua aerobics, bow and arrow, etc). The staff, including Leyla and Hatem, provided an outstanding level of care when my mom fell sick. They constantly checked on her, helped providing medicine and brought a special diet into her room.

Snack bar isn't open during the full time window it a advertises. A simple edit to the displayed opening hours would help manage expectations.

As an experienced solo traveller, Iberostar Diar Al Andalous is a lovely affordable resort, which is part of the Iberostar Hotels group. Spacious and cleaner rooms with different beautiful views. The pools were beautiful with an ideal temperature . The beach was lovely and had easy access from the hotel main building and dining areas as well . The staff of the hotel from the security gate, including the beach, swimming pool, Frint office, and F&B team, all of them were very hospitable. The lifeguards at the beach and pool were exceptional and friendly. The bellboys at the hotel main lobby were helpful also. The location of the hotel was very convenient to visit Sousse downtown and Mall of Sousse . The resort offered guests numerous dining options. Special thanks to Mr.Hatem and Mr.Emad from guest relations for their efforts to ensure a memorable stay for all guests.

Excelent comfort, perfectly clean. By the magnificent sea and fine sand beach. Open buffet foods and restaurant service are good. All you can eat and drink, all the time you can find. Employees are helpful, kind and always smiling. They upgrade our room to the selection when check-in. No problem here, just relax and enjoy.
