Sea Valley Resort

Almost everything. Food was good too. Staff were friendly. The floors of the room were squeaky clean. They provided spa quality shower gel and shampoo, they smell just like jasmine flowers. We stayed at room 3/1 and 3/2. The AC in one our rooms was unusually warm and the technician sorted it out immediately. Netflix and Amazon Prime is available on TV. Loved the beach , very gentle waves and kids friendly. We enjoyed our private pool too. The resort pool is also really nice , divided into three sections : baby pool, medium pool and deep pool. I also love it that they have kayaks, SUPs and even an ocean trampoline for use ! Massage in the resort was good (if you have the older lady ) and rates are reasonable - in fact cheaper than the lady offering massage services on the beach. There are plenty of food choices nearby, within walking distance ( we had two young children with us and no vehicle) . We had a look at Google maps and explored around. Our favourites - Mango Tree, Think Retro Cafe and the very local Thai food stall just ahead of Jigsaw cafe was really good (& much cheaper ) !!

Housekeeping standard could be slightly better - we found pee stains under the WC cover from previous guests and it was not cleaned until day 3 when we lifted the cover up for them to notice. Restaurant don't offer kids utensils but we managed... Just so you know, there are no beach bags , and no hair conditioner provided. Bring your travel adaptor as their plugs are not internationally friendly. Kids play room is available but looks neglected.

I stayed in sea view private pool room, it was an awesome experience, if away from crowded places like chaweng but perfect place to spend quality time. BBQ dinner on weekend was awesome experience as well. Must get motorbike to travel around. Near to the zip line and 2 waterfalls. Beach is also good as its sandy beach. Perfect sunset view location, can't get it on chaweng beach.

it’s a little bit far from the center and other places in the island. and when you check out- they act like they don’t know you - we had questions and ask for glass of water and they refused to answer and give us a glass of water. but it was only one staff lady the rest of them were really really nice!

Beautiful property! The bungalows offer privacy yet make it very accessible to the beach and restaurant. Cool, small beach that’s nice to walk and look at neighboring restaurants and hotels.

The food served at the restaurant was not very good. We tried several things and they really lacked flavor.

The beachfront pool villas were located right on the beach with great view. They were well equipped with a rustic decor. The rooms were nice and quiet and almost isolated. Fast check in and out. Parking was free with the room. Located in a remote road, for the perfect getaway. The resort restaurant has a nice menu and food are reasonably priced.

The complementary amenities could be improved. Their vehicle rental policy is not friendly and charges are high. The location is in a remote road and have few restaurants and bars in the area, not suitable if you are looking for an active surrounding.

Amazing hotel. We had our family vacation in the middle of January and it was our first stay at the Sea Valley Resort. We loved absolutely everything about this place. Cozy and very well maintained territory which gives you a nice feeling of privacy. Our only disturbance was caused by the rooster that lives in the neighbouring private house. This bird was waking us up every morning before 5 am but ear plugs solved the problem and this rooster doesn’t belong to the Sea Valley Resort, so it can’t be taken as a complain.😂 Clean private beach, well maintained main pool as well as private pools. I would particularly highlight the local restaurant. The best food we’ve had in Thailand. And we’ve been in Thailand many times. Top quality food for reasonable prices. And our great thanks to the stuff. Top service and always with the smile. If you are looking for a chilled vacation without touristic buzz around and top service, Sea Valley Resort is definitely your choice. We are looking forward to be back!

nothing really. coffee capsules in room could be better, free and more readily available and only the one restaurant but all in all nice small resort

The place looks amazing!! The room is big and super nice, the garden is maintained daily. The staff is very friendly. The bad is just amazing. The breakfast is sooo good with a lot of options and the restaurant manager did a lot of efforts for my gluten free girlfriend to have everything she’d like. The pool is well maintained and clean always. The kayaks and sups are for free and thats very cool.

The hotel is far from the center of Samui (40 min drive), therefore i would expect the hotel to have some kind of shuttle services in a decent price. The hotel is expensive enough without us having to pay 700 baht for one way. The restaurant is very good but also overpriced, feels like they’re using the fact that there are not a lot of restaurants around.

We loved the vacation! Lovely hotel, big rooms, very clean and cosy. Friendly staff. The beach is located so that there are always zero waves; yellow sand, no rocks or anything. Big Plus - free sup boards and kayaks, so cool! Nice breakfast - some buffet options + you can order pancakes, eggs any style, porridge, and very nice coffee. Try the kids' menu in the restaurant for cutlets/salmon + mashed potato :D The location is super quiet, all villas separated from each other with a high bush fence. First-row villas literally face the sea. Very far from active social life - 20 mins walk to the nearest 7-11, 40-50 drive to Chaweng/Bo Phut. I also recommend trying the massage at the hotel - ask for the lady whose name is Tip :) Foot massage is so worth the money. All in all, highly recommend!

We liked basically everything! One issue, - lots of mosquitoes, but that's a common situation around the islands. Use the spiral anti-mosquito thingies from 7-11, plus sprays - helps greatly.

We booked a family villa which was essentially two 1 bedroom apartments in the one villa - so it was massive! It was 3/9 & 3/10. Each half of the villa had a king size bed, living room, toilet & shower room. We had a private pool which was plenty big enough to cool off and play some games. The hotel itself has one restaurant which has plenty options, and the price was reasonable enough that we didn’t go elsewhere often. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a private area of beach and has a number of paddle boards and kayaks to use free of charge. There is also a good size communal pool with plenty loungers and hammmocks. Each table has a bell so drinks can be ordered and delivered poolside or on the beach. Overall we had a great stay. Our purpose was to just stop for a week, escape the chaos and recharge our batteries: the sea valley resort was perfect for this!
