Hacienda Fisherman's Village

In the centre of Fisherman Village. Next to the beach, pool on the roof. Close to restaurants, bars and shops. Great night market.

I liked that I could wake up every morning to my dream view, which was the beach. The friendly staff every day with them greeting every morning and evening. I like that it's making changes to become more eco-friendly to the environment. My partner liked how peaceful it was and listen to sound of the waves and your house keeper is amazing she sweept every morning and asked if our room needed to be done and helped us out when we waited for a trip she gave us some orange juice and snacks she very very nice she derseve to be told every day😀 We did not get time to try the food in hotel but tried the restaurant right next door and it was beautiful and they also had lovely staff there that greeted us every day 😀. This hotel is right beside some amazing restaurants and the shops. There are markets on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Over all great place for a quiet relaxing holiday 😌

I did not like the ants that were in the room or on our balcony. We had to shake clothes before bringing them inside and anything we left outside. That the Internet wasn't very strong for us could be different for others.

This small hotel is superb for a stay in the fisherman’s village. It’s located at the quiet end of the village and yet only few minutes by foot to the Nightmarket, Coco Tam’s and other main attractions. I booked one of the rooms overlooking the sea and it was exactly like the pictures. My room was quiet, cleaned to perfection every day and the staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay with them was pleasant.

There was a strange smell in my bathroom which the staff immediately tried to get rid of once I brought it to their attention but unfortunately it came back on and off during my 5 days there. It might be from the sea, I don’t know, but it smelled quite bad.

For the first 2 nights we were on the top floor with incredible ocean views. The bed was so comfortable, the views were amazing and staff so friendly and helpful. The pool is small but no one else was up there any time we went up so we had it to ourselves with great sunset views. On the last night the friendly staff upgraded our room to ground level with direct beach access and that room was even better. Such a special place in a great location. Loved our stay here.

The upstairs rooms are accessible through a corridor shared by 2 other rooms, and we had a door slamming guest staying in the room next to us for the first 2 nights, which was unexpectedly loud in the wee hours. The bathroom was also made of glass so privacy was non existent, but when we were upgraded to the beach access room the bathroom had a blind.

a lovely place at the quiet end of fisherman’s village, staff were really helpful with arranging airport pickup taxi and our boat to Koh phangan. we had an amazing stay

our first three nights were in the village view room and we extended our stay by one extra night to stay in the ocean view room, we actually much preferred the village view room as this had better facilities we found. such as the air con didn’t turn off when we left the room, and the shower was warmer. overall an amazing stay but we recommend the village view room more

Everything. Staff. They so friendly and check in process was super easy. They even left us a happy new years present (gift wrapped) in our room ❤️ Location - incredible. I can’t think of anywhere better in all of Koh samui - it was seconds walk to everything we needed (the beach, the best breakfast and dinner places) and yet we actually managed to have the best peaceful sleeps. We did request a quiet room so maybe that helped. The room was impeccably clean. The view from our balcony was splendid.

Nothing! I would maybe advise staff to purchase extractor fans for the bathrooms as they can get quite damp. It’s not really a problem now but it might be in a few years time!

Location was amazing. Beautiful view from my room looking out to sea across to Koh Phangan!! the staff were very friendly and attentive, sorted all of our needs from hiring a scooter which was dropped off to the hotel! To sorting out tickets for the elephant sanctuary, even constantly bringing us complimentary drinks and fruit when we were at the pool. This hotel is located right at the end of fisherman’s village, you couldn’t be any better located for beautiful restaurants and eateries right in your doorstep!! We travelled a bit around Koh samui and glad we made the choice to stay in fisherman’s village!!

The Hacienda is a fantastic quiet place to stay, our room was on the ground floor with its own terrace, loungers and stepped straight onto the beach. The bed, pillows and outside day bed was very comfy. Very close to bars, restaurants etc. The girls at the desk were very helpful they arranged a motorbike, transfers, tours anything you need. It is not a resort so no resort style facilities but perfect if you just need some peace. The Fishermans village area is a great place to stay, the choice to be quiet or in the midst of things. Koh Samui is easily navigated on the motorbike so you can spend lots of time cruising and stopping into bars and hotels on the way. A different holiday but very pleasant all the same.

I found Koh Samui in general and Thailand to be quite expensive now so do not expect to go there and get cheap meals, drinks etc, also the shopping is certainly not what it used to be but for a relax it is great

Beautiful view from balcony. Staff were amazing 👏. Bed comfy. Free water. Location is very good. Pool is small, but nice area for a couple of hours. Only 4 sunbeds due to size of area

Not the hotels fault, but very noisy upstairs. All night some nights which kept me awake. There is building work going on two doors down. Can get very noisy during day. Beach not so good. Water not clear and beach is shale
