Santhiya Tree Koh Chang Resort

The hotel is absolutely amazing and we were more than happy the whole 10 days we stayed there. Our room was spatious and very clean! The staff was just always super friendly and the food was amazing. The breakfast buffet was very delicious and it had everything you could wish for (standard american as well as thai dishes). The food in their restaurant was also very good and the prices were fair. What really impressed us was the pool area, it was always super clean and the service was just great! I can also recommend the spa and massage treatments, they were excellent and very cheap compared to european prices. If you do want to explore the area you can rent motorbikes at the hotel or the small town is just 10-15 minutes away on foot. We always walked to the restaurants in the town which took us between 10-30 minutes, depending on where we went. The restaurants in town are really cheap and very good! I can recommend all of them! We spent most of our time in the water either at the pool or in the beach. The water by the beach was very clean and rather calm waters, perfect to swim or use the free of charge SUPs and kajaks. Trips to lonely beach, snorkeling and scuba diving are very close by. If you want to go snorkeling or scuba diving I can recommend BB Divers, we had an amazing trip with them! Also the hotel was very quiet and we had a very relaxing time there! No loud music, no animation and no one wanting to sell you stuff! Just a very relaxing holiday!

What a gorgeous place! The staff were so friendly and helpful, our villa was beautiful with our own private pool. The included breakfast was very good with lots of choices. The grounds were landscaped and so well taken care of. The beach was lovely too.

The bed was quite hard, but I think that's normal in Asian countries. They did try to rectify it by adding under blankets to make it softer.

Sometimes it took a long time to get our coffee and tea for breakfast. It would be more practical to make a bigger pot of coffee. We loved everything else!

The hotel is beautifully made with lots of wood work details, the rooms are nicely decorated and functional. The beach and the swimming pool were perfect.

The hotel needs some maintenance, particularly some of the external wood parts. Also, the reception was short on information about things to do, always directing us to the "main road". Finally, due to low season some services were not available (like the spa and airport transfer), this should be mentioned in the booking process.

The quality of the room is poor, shower rod handle loose, can not lock front door locking mechanism broken, the shower area a little bit out dated. Thanks

many swimming pools in the hotel. i like the one near breakfast area the most. the swimming pool is very long and supergood view of the mountain, very friendly stuff, private beach.

Doesn’t have much choice for breakfast, kinda expensive for foods in the hotel’s restaurant and not clean tables, a lot of mosquitoes in the room and around the hotel, far away from the main road. when I booked the room I asked for high floor but when I arrived I got the lowest floor which wasn’t so private.

the staff were friendly and professional. I know we are in Thailand and I love the side street food but to have such a high standard of service is very good at this resort.

Far from main road, so you need shittle or rent scooter. It's ok, but you need to think of it.

This hotel is amazing beautiful! Employees are really nice and professional. The suite rooms with private pools in the new building are so beautiful all in old wooden thai style! The swimming pools and the beach are just perfect to chill and relax in paradise.

The hotel is 1 kilometer from the main road but you can easily order a taxi or rent a motorbike in hotel so it is fine. The hotel is globally clean except one thing, all windows looks like they have never been cleaned or descaled including the shower windows, please look the pictures.
