Hisea Huahin Hotel - SHA Extra Plus

We had some pre-checkin issues---due to the scope of our confirmed reservation---but they were associated with a confusion caused by the booking.com portal and NOT the HOTEL, so that we got those matters resolved to our complete satisfaction prior to our arrival. Upon check-in at this relatively new Hua-Hin Hotel we were welcomed by the very accommodating and professional reception staff, who assigned to us the family room we had booked on the 5th floor, with ocean views. The rooms are adequately equipped and we had a small balcony facing the street side towards the ocean. Our bathroom had both a shower and a bath tub, which was very much appreciated. It's worthwhile noticing that the hotel's room service was simply perfect, since they even re-arranged--every day--all personal bathroom items of our family so that we found them neatly organized and in perfect order, and even our T-shirts and shorts were folded..... Internet access was also perfect, and I noticed that the hotel had installed a designated W-LAN router for each pair of hotel rooms on the 5th floor, so that we got good signal strength and data processing speed for all 4 mobile phones, plus my laptop. The hotel also has a roof-top pool on the 7th floor, and if you're sitting on the bench inside the pool---at the rear side of fthe pool, and facing the ocean----you can view the ocean as an extension of the (frontal) infinity-edge of the pool. It was nice to relax there during the evening/night hours, when the air temperature had dropped a little, so that the water felt pleasantly warm. There is also a Sky Bar to which we walked up from from roof-top pool level, although it was closed at the time of our visit. The location of the hotel---near Soi 55 off Hwy 4---is a convenient and very central location within the city of Hua Hin. The popular Hua Hin night market is in walking distance only about 300 m from the hotel, and it is only a 5 minute walk to the beach.

The breakfast buffet could perhaps be more diverse, especially if you're planning a longer stay at that hotel. Yet, given the fact that the hotel had fewer guests than under pre-Covid19 conditions, I admired the fact that they offered a BUFFET BREAKFAST at the hotel's cafe on the second floor, since many hotels are switching to a minimalist "a la carte" room service under those circumstances......

Very clean modern hotel. Rooftop pool area excellent, with it's own bar. Spacious well set out rooms with a balcony. Room came with a safe, hair dryer and bathrobes, as well as a very good selection of toiletries. Very friendly and efficient cleaning staff.

My room was right next to a school which could be very noisy for a large part of the day.

The hotel's location was good in the middle of local life and close to the center and the night market. The hotel was quite new and the room and bathroom were like new

The wifi connection was unprotected. The connection was sometimes good, mostly bad and disconnected. The storage space for clothes was insufficient for a longer stay. The closet needs more hangers for clothes and shelves for t-shirts, underwear...

It's close to the beach, it has a 7/11 close by. No noise from nigthlife or such. Friendly staff and a comfortable room. A cool infinity pool. For food and drinks go to The Garden on 55 around the corner

The staff were amazing friendly and checkin was a breeze. Like most Thai hotels they speak enough english to understand you and somewhat converse but generally have one person who is fluent who we think was the hotel manager Leo. Hearing an Australian accent from him was a shock! Our room was amazing and big by Thai standards, a morning swim overlooking the street from the rooftop infinity pool was a great way to start the day. The bathroom was really big and the shower had great hot water. Leo was happy to organise anything we could ask for and provided some insights on Thai cultural differences for us when we asked as well as help with our beginner Thai pronunciation. Your within walking distance to the centre of town and a quick tuktuk back if your been out drinking too much to make the walk back at the end of the night. Two coffee shops and a breakfast place within 50m of the hotel front entrance and restaurants everywhere. We loved walking out of our room every morning to the bright smiles of the cleaning team who would wish us a good morning! Hisea is seriously underrated and well worth the stay compared to other hotel choices in the centre of town.

The Wifi is open for your particular floor and area of your room which does make it easier to connect to. But it also means anyone could really be using it and or monitoring it. Your laptop security will probably be upset by this and I guess if your paranoid enough you may want to tether from your mobile for anything other than normal browsing.

Breakfast was so yummy! It was very versitile, although I missed some basic staple foods there, but there was still a lot of options. I LOVED the size of the bed. So comfy and big. Staff was amazing and so nice.

We arrived to the hotel at 4 am, due to poor planning from my family (not my fault.) And we werent able to check in until 2PM. Now, this wouldnt be an issuse if we actually came in an appropriate time, and not 10 hours early. Yet- My father who doesnt understand the concept of respecting others time (especially hotels) was super mad and was quite rude. I did not like how the room service was closed. Wasnt able to order food or anything. Kinda sad cause their menu had loads of stuff!

We loved our stay here so much we extended our stay. Great location, really close to everything. Bed was so comfortable (soft bed) hard to find in Thailand. Room was clean & shower was amazing. Thank you to Leo & staff for a great stay. Would highly recommend & would definitely stay here again if in Hua Hin

Only a recommendation, but a seating area outside would be good, as we were travelling as a group of 6 & we smoke, we would of enjoyed sitting outside together, having a drink & a ciggie, balcony was too small for all 6 of us & too hot upstairs

Location was great - right in the centre of Hua Hin and a 5-10 minute walk from the beach. Great roof top swimming pool, good parking. Cleaning was superb and the room was a good size. It was really good for the price!

Only gripe was the school next door can be a little noisey in the morning (post 0730/0800) for a short period as the kids arrive. Once they settle in class it then is quiet again!! But, this is a great wake up call to get out of bed and go explore the wonders of Thailand!
