The bed and breakfast is like a little garden oasis in a dilapidated and run-down city like Chiang Rai. The owner and staff are very warm and keen to help, and they always took our breakfast orders and waited even if we came to breakfast a little late. The buildings and room were beautiful and the bed was soft.

Only complaint was that sometimes it was noisy due to poor plumbing in the building (you can hear the water running loudly when people upstairs take a shower at night), and also the door of the room is wooden and a bit misaligned with the frame so you can see the silhouette of light from the hallway.

Nai Suan is a hidden gem, the property itself is literally beautiful and based on English style (they have a coronation street sign on the wall which I found quite funny) breakfast included was lovely, we received a free room upgrade and also the staff was SO lovely and helpful it never felt like we were bothering them. The value for money is insane at this place. So clean and lovely

I chose this hotel because it is close to the city center and to Pan Kled Villa with outstanding vegan food. The staff was sensationally helpful - and whatever issues needed to be resolved, they did in absolutely wonderful fashion. If you are sensitive to noise - like me - you want to mention it with your booking. The staff made me love this place.

location and appearance

The first thing the rude woman did was demand a deposit of 500 baht. And the booking didn't have this information. But I didn't have cash. And she repeated like a parrot "this is the hotel rule, this is the hotel rule". She ruined our impression.

Comfortable and affordable in a good location, with a surprising amount of space and lovely views. Tucked into a more quiet neighborhood, very comfortable beds and a great breakfast. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Cute European decor, had everything we were looking for! We chose to drive into downtown, but it would have been a simple and safe walk.

Parking was free but getting into the lot was a bit tight - would have been more of a challenge if they were busier or if we would have had a larger vehicle. The A/C in our room worked, but struggled to really cool the room down (we were on the top floor with two outside facing walls and windows).

The most comfortable and elegant accommodation we’ve stayed in, in south east Asia- a little taste of home being English too. The breakfast was high quality and delicious!! The bed- I would literally buy the same one for back home if I could.

Overall hotel very welcoming, design very English style and we all love it very much. Simple but make us all full (breakfast), you allowed to order a main dish and the rest such as bread, fruits and coffee are feel free to refill like buffet.

Some of the furniture and mattress need to look into it.

Such a gorgeous property. It was like we were in France. The staff worked hard to keep it clean. All the staff were lovely and the main hostess was so friendly. I left my kindle there and she had arranged to send in to our next accommodation. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The images do not do this hotel justice, when we arrived we felt like we were transported into a movie scene, the building is amazing, our room had an amazing rustic atmosphere, and everything was picturesque. The bed was comfortable, AC was great, the bathroom squeaky clean, and the shower had hot water and amazing space to move. Will definitely recommend this place to friends, or if I am ever in Chiang Rai again I will stay there.

The breakfast was very basic, not my favorite thing, but it was okay, we had to choose the breakfast meal upon checking in, the meal looked exactly like in the picture, but I found it lacking in flavor, there was a buffet of cereals and pastries and jams, which wasn't bad. The coffee was great, however.

We loved the quaint and charming atmosphere of this property. We would have lived to see the whole property as ut was quite exquisite

The bathroom smell. It rained and caused the smell to get worse.
