hobnob Hostel

The staff, the shared spaces, the unique pool in the back, to the lovely atmosphere feeling of this old school library just gives you warm feelings! If you have a chance to ask for Nick, his family ownes and runs the hostel and hotel next door! He speaks perfect English, plays the guitar and sings, with such warm heart you’re for sure to not want to leave this hostel! I stayed here in the private room for 4 nights and stayed in the dorm for nearly 1 month! Probably by far the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed at. I actually tipped the cleaning lady when I left because how amazing she keeps the place clean! Someone give her a raise!

I felt the private room was a little on the expensive side without having your own private bathroom. But if that’s my only complaint then it sounds like a personal one to me! Haha

The bath although is shared, it is already clean and bright.

I love everything there, in fact I might return there next year. But BUT! There is a shocking electric STOPAGE between 10am and 2PM! Which is NOT HIGHLIGHTED anywhere. Honestly it is really a bummer!!! Come on, everything is really perfect for me until this shocker!

Hospitality, Safety and Cleanliness was exceptional.

The cafe attached to the hostel serves great food! We had burgers and chips, both really enjoyed them. Coffee is great, WiFi is good. Lots of people working/relaxing there. Rooms were quiet at night. Bathrooms were clean most of the time, only a bit messy after guests had used but not cleaned up after themselves well.

Prefer a more secure place to leave bags before you can check in. We had no issues but just as a precaution it would be good if they were stored in a locked location where only staff had access.

Cozy, well designed and beautiful interior design. Great location, two streets away from the Sunday Market and most amenities withing 5-10minutes walk. The huge luggage spaces under the bed is a great add on. Staff were super friendly and nice, breakfast althought I only take coffee in the morning. Overall i think its a fantastic hostel for Chiang Mai

Chairs and seats not the most comfortable, and would be great to have standing desks down at the cafe area.

- good location - friendly staff - clean, big bed with little locker - enough space in the room for extra luggage etc. - good facilities and chill out area - food in the cafe is goood - really pretty place

- that’s just an extra but it would be nice if they could give you more information/ tips and stuff about the activities around Chiang mai

This hostel is on the top of my list. Such a beautiful well decorated place. If I could, I would have never left. I miss this place already and can't wait to go back. . Personal shout-out to Naam. She was the most helpful person we have met. Kind and supportive with such a sweet smile. She helped with all our queries especially the travelling part from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai. A must stay place if you want to relax and spend some time to unwind.

Loved this place!! Dorms were so nice, very cool aircon, clean spacious bathrooms. Common area with kitchen facilities and workspace (100% would stay here if I was a remote worker - perfect vibe/facilities). Coffee shop was likely very good as it was always popular, prices reasonable just didn’t get a chance to try it myself unfortunately! Best of my 3 hostels in Chiang Mai

beautiful property with nice facilities in a fantastic location in chiang mai. room was clean with good AC and the bathroom was very nice

we arrived for a late check in (hotel was informed). but when we arrived there was no way of getting in the property or alerting people inside. we had no SIM cards so couldn’t contact them online. eventually we got in but it was an unnecessary stress

I knew some friends here and I really liked the lobby a lot,the breakfast was tasty and staffs were kind and helpful:))

The shower in the bathroom is a little bit messy
