Baan Ratchiangsaen

Our room was large and clean. the pool is the perfect size for a quick dip to cool off. it is close enough to the old city (about a 5 minute walk) and it was nice not to get the noise. The staff were all so incredibly kind and helpful. the upstairs patio area was great to drink a cup of coffee or have a beer at the end of the day. our room was always stocked with water and instant coffee! the bed was comfortable and the AC worked great. there was even a cute little bar kiddy corner that was local and fun! we were sad to leave and hope to come back again!

Nothing. I wanted to stay there for ever.

I liked a lot of things there. The location was good. It was not so near all the places to eat, but there was some places to eat, some very local places. Less than 7 minutes and you already on the night market. So, yes, good place. My room was very good. Big and comfortable.

Only one thing bothered me: the ants. Little ants everywhere lol. I guess it's something needed to be observed carefully, so it will be the perfect place.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel is well placed just a few minutes walk from Chiang Mai gate. In all a great quiet location but near enough to the action. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel😀

The pool area was smaller than expected, just 2 or 3 people can sit at a time, but as I had a pool room I could sit next to the pool outside the room. Also, the bath tub with the shower may not be suitable for older people, or those with mobility issues, in hindsight I would have preferred a walk in shower. But this didn't affect my stay.

Wonderful little getaway and quiet property with Zen decor. Great for romantic couples or singles. Looking for a beautiful spot close to active city center.

Safety lockbox in the room did not work and so I was given a manual key and also room facing swimming pool as a sliding balcony door with a flimsy lock, that does not feel very secure but staff has reassured me that security cameras do you spot everything in case of intrusion.

Location is good, 15 minutes walk from the centre where you can find pretty much everything. There's a local market taking place in the morning so you can get fresh fruits and food. Staff is very polite, daily cleaning even for my 2 night stay! Spacious and comfortable room.

It's a bit noisy during night as there's a bar which stays on late. Not a huge issue though. The pool needs a bit of cleaning I should recommend.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We arrived by night train so when we got to the hotel our room wasn't ready yet. The staff were very welcoming and already checked us in, and let us use the pool. The pool is very clean and refreshing and we got one of the rooms on the ground floor facing the pool. Which meant, wake up and jump right in. The staff had great recommendations and were very helpfull with our plans to travel further and do day trips. Bed was very comfortable and rooms are beautiful.

It's a bit of a walk away and songtheauws and taxis don't really stop nearby so using the grab app to get around is a good recommendation. And, we personally don't love showering in a bathtub, but that's a personal preference. Everything else was great.

Great location only a 5 minute walk to the square, main attractions and street food/market. The room was a great size and cleaned every day. The hotel staff were great, they gave me information about the area and also helped me with a taxi to the airport early in the morning as the apps were fully booked.

Only the premium rooms have a safety deposit box, you are also unable to get one at reception too.

Nice comfy bed and large room. The pool was small but nice to cool off in, although it looked a little green for a few days Great tv reception with english channels. Staff were lovely and helped me with booking tours and transport to the bus station.

Would be nice if they offered breakfast. The shower in the bathtub wasn't designed very well and the floor always ended up covered in water.

Really good hotel; our room opened onto the pool area. It was a large room with a comfy large bed and patio door onto a green plant wall. The staff were great and it was easily walkable into the old city through Chiang Mai Gate.

We had a shower over the bath which although I don’t particularly like it would have been difficult to access if you had a disability or limited mobility.

Breakfast service could be a good addition Even through is not a real problem as many coffee places in Chiangmai; cosy coffee 300m away was our go to
