Monomer Hostel

Good value for money for a short stay (airport connection). Room was cleaned, had air conditioning and a private bathroom. Excellent location to get airport city link, also close to 7/11 and restaurants. Very nice staff.

Be aware that the private room is on the last floor (5th) and there are a lot of stairs which are slippery as you need to take off your shoes (bring slippers). Pictures of the room are somehow misleading, the room is relatively small, the stairs you see are outside and not part of the room, the mattress is on the floor (still very comfortable though). We were kept awake until 1am as some people were using hairdriers (located on the corridors) to get ready to party. We asked the people to stop and they did, but there should be a rule/sign close to the hairdriers indicating quiet hours.

Very clean and modern hostel. They also had a kitchenette to store things and make your own breakfast food and free tea, coffee and water! Beds comfy and bathrooms really nice.

Location isn’t ideal for most of the tourist attractions in Bangkok. Although only 15min walk from MBK centre if that’s your jam. Staff tried to be helpful but they don’t provide a tour or transport booking services like most hostels and when I asked about lunch spots they didn’t seem to know even though there’s cheap local restaurants by the river which were nice. A bit more info would have been nice.

- The stairs has no mercy for someone with a big luggage like me ;w; - If you wear socks, prepare for the slippery of the floor. Be careful if you don’t want to slide down the stairs.

- We booked the double room with private bath and were lucky to be allocated at building 2 second floor, so no problem carrying luggages - very very good location near to ratchathewi station, convenient to get to airport rail line and sukhumvit line - we opted out of housekeeping the second day and was glad to see a basket of fresh towels and mineral water outside the door - really liked the lounge area too. We ordeed grabfood a couple of times and staff even allowed us to stay there after checkout, before our flight.

- water from the shower can be warmer - people were chatting loudly outside the rooms/lounge even past 10pm, 11pm+

Perfect location - feels more like a locals area but with easy access to the skytrain and very centrally located for taxis to other areas. 30min taxi to dmk. The staff were super friendly, and the hostel was really clean and quiet. We slept in a windowless room on the ground floor of the second building and got a fabulous sleep. There is a ventilator in the room which kept it not stuffy. Definitely would recommend this hostel!!

Nothing - was one of our favourite stays!

1. The rest area in the center of the city should be convenient for transportation and eating. 2. The dorm room is clean and quiet with a safe closet. There's plenty of shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom area. 3. There are a lot of nice coffee shops and good restaurants around the resort. 4. Friendly and enthusiastic staff. ==> I will come back and choose rest place many more times.

Very helpful staff, and a cool modern hostel. everything was very clean. they let us leave our luggage in early and for a couple of hours post checkout - super accomodating! highly recommend as we were a family of 5 and stayed in the family room - shared bathrooms turned out to be no problem at all. what a great set up in a top location - one train stop from Asian for shopping!

Prompt and helpful step by step directions to self check in via phone by staff when I arrived at night (as there is no night shift staff physical at counter, one has to scan LINE/WhatsApp ID to inform staff if late arrival) Location is very convenient, right by Ratchadewi BTS station with local food easily available for dinner/supper. Still within walking distance to Platinum mall/Pratunam for those who want to shop. Will def choose to come again when I visit BKK.

The mattress is slightly too hard for my liking as I'm used to softer ones.

Really loved a staff and house keepers they were really helpful, assisted me with everything I needed when I was there, really thankful and would like to admire them as they have done excellent service.

I think the curtain was too gauzy. It was not covered light in the room while the light was turning on, and it would be disturbed when needed to sleep.

The hostel's location is excellent, situated in a lively neighborhood with easy access to the BTS. There's also 7/11 around the corner and some affordable places to eat at. The rooms are well maintained and clean. Its a good choice for solo travelers and small groups that are looking for an affordable place to stay.
