Best Western Plus Hotel Bahnhof

The location is excellent whether walking or travelling by train or bus. Access to all the facilities in Schaffhausen was perfect. The staff are excellent. Always had happy faces. Always courteous, and really nice to talk to, even in English. The buffet breakfast had enough range to keep most people happy. I am going to miss the sesame seed coated croissants - absolute favourite! :-) The room was clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable as well.

Only negative - there are no laundromats in Schaffhausen. So, if you are staying for more than a couple of days and you don't want to pay the quite expensive in-house laundry rates, get used to hand washing your clothing.

The breakfast was very good, with sufficient options for vegetarians and vegans. The hotel location is excellent - right next to the train station, bus station, post office, and the Old Town. The room was very comfortable and soundproof (no sounds from the road and train station). The staff at the reception was very friendly and on asking gave very helpful information about places to visit nearby and which buses/trains to use to get there.

There could be more fruit options in the breakfast and the cut fruit tray could be replenished more often.

The staff here are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, bed comfortable and airco freezing. The hotel is very well situated in the city. Even with the train station across the road, I don't recall a single noise coming from outside. Will definitely be back!

They do offer secure parking, although it's about a 5 minute walk away. Not a major complaint.

Location right opposite the station - perfect for a train to the Rheinfalls and a pedestrianised area behind with good shops and restaurants. Tea and coffee making facilities in room always a bonus. Good storage facilities for bicycles. Excellent breakfast. Fantastic staff - helpful and friendly receptionists helped us with our bikes and luggage and train information.

-spacious rooms -excellent location, close to the station (yet not noisy at all, one can sleep with an open window), everything in town is reachable by foot -super friendly staff -there is a small selection of vegan breakfast food like plant milk and vegan yoghurt, beans and mushrooms etc

The parking was a bit of a problem, specialy for me being Disabled When making the booking, I made you aware that I am disabled and that I was coming with my car. You told me that you have your own Parking garage and that there was publick parking. But you did not tell me that it was at sudge a distance to walk

Hotel is ideally situated as it is situated by the train station and is part of the old city with shopping and restaurants around the corner. My room faced the rear so it was quite. The breakfast buffet was to write home about. Staff was welcoming, helpful and courteous. Will be back!

The room and bathroom were large and comfortable with excellent attention given to what a traveller might need: bathrobe and slippers, excellent coffee and tea station, earplugs and cosmetic care kit, complementary water, to mention a few. The breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of choice. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel clearly cares about guests.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was exceptional, very spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. The staff where very helpful and friendly. Location is ideal, only one street back from the main shopping street. We tend to avoid staying at hotels near train stations, due noise, but this hotel was very quiet. Bike storage was very secure in a locked garage outside, but close to the hotel. Highly recommend.

Staff were excellent, rooms large. After checking out I received a call from the hotel advising that I had left a sweater behind in the closet. I was too far away to retrieve it so Elena at the front desk mailed it to my hotel at my next destination- she even phoned the hotel to advise it would be coming! When arrived at my new hotel, it was waiting for me!
