Hôtel Les Vieux Toits

The most beautiful property in a small traditional Swiss village. The hotel is in excellent condition with some charming pieces of furniture. The breakfast consisted of local produce and the coffee was great. There is a beautiful terrace to sit on, which is perfect for a warm summer evening. We arrived on the bicycles and were able to secure them safely and take a shower straight away before walking down into the town for some dinner.

The only consideration is that if you are limited in your mobility, this place may not be for you. The building has been kept in its original charm, which includes steps, twists and turns.

Cosy family hotel in a nice neighbourhood with typical old houses. Friendly staff, decent breakfast. 2 free parking spots available in front of the house. Clean spacious rooms although a little outdated.

Staff is not always available. However, you will receive a welcome email with all the info to get in and get your key. Unfortunately not everybody reads this Email and is a little bit lost at check in.

located in the outskirts of Neuchatel. Small and cozy hotel. I was lucky to get a parking spot as well. Room is spacious with all needed, a bit old but ok. Very good breakfast served.

As it is located at the top floor at the attic, I do not know how it is possible to shower as there is no shower curtain. There was bathtub but impossible to stand in it (due to low ceiling). Sitting is not something I would do outside my own home. I showered at work so did not use this bath.

The staff was great, room very clean and very cold delicious beer!

It wasn’t a problem for me (5’2’) but my husband (6’2’) was constantly hitting his head in the low ceiling. There’s no AC and with the window open a lot of nearby light came in (and at 12:01 am someone answered a phone and talked loudly for at least 30 min). We arrived by bicycle and the last mile was straight uphill for at least a mile (this after 6 hours of riding… not the hotels fault but still…)

Room was small, humble, simply set up, but comfortable and just what I needed. Bathroom also simple but totally fine, all was very clean and fresh. Very pretty location and building. Friendly service, I even received a short phone call in advance of my arrival to advise me on which buses to take to the location.

Breakfast was a bit simple, I would have enjoyed some more choice in fresh products. Although the friendly service which made up for that.

It was simply GREAT. A wonderful place in the 150 century old town of St. Blaise. Just perfect for people with RESPECT for the Environment & Nature. Nice after a Bike tour from lake Biel-Bienne or Mount Chaumont. Or as well before activities like a hard Business day. Due to health issues I have to follow a VEGAN diet. The Staff where very helpful. The apple 🍏 at checkout. 🙏🌞 Made it perfect

Beautiful hotel in beautiful location with swifts darting around the old houses just above Lake Neuchatel. Proprietor stayed to welcome us past final checkin time as we were able to message our arrival time.

Location, Staff, cozyness, beds, cleaniness

In room 5, facing east, no windows blinds. This means light at 5:30AM in May. The other room at the same floor has the "VELUX" blinds broken, same issue.

Comfortable beds, clean and spacious room. There was private parking close to the hotel. Breakfast was good. Several restaurants and bars in the area.

You could only shower kneeling in the bathtub because of the low ceiling.

Clean quit location. Close to Bus stop. We used the free Bus pass that came with the Hotel. Ther is a little Bakery around the Corner that was delicious break fast. 10 minute Bus ride to Center of Neuchatel
