Please note that the room in this hotel is located on the 5th floor, and there is no elevator from the 4th floor.

A really large room with a balcony, equipped with an electric kettle (plus coffee and tee bags, sugar). The staff was very helpful, friendly and easy to communicate in English. The hotel is surrounded by a very beautiful landscape, large charming vineyards you can walk through. Chexbres is a romantic small town full of flowers (and surprisingly narrow streets). Grocery is just about 10 minutes of walk from the hotel, to get to the highway is very easy and fast. Hotel parking lot is safe and large enough.

Not perfectly solved covering of the shower corner - not possible to avoid water getting all around the bathroom.

Location Bedroom was large, clean and had a balcony with a gorgeous view of the lake Staff were very helpful (posted an item that I left behind in the room to me without hesitation)

The coffee/tea making facilities in the bedroom were a bit basic. The hotel was a little dated. There didn’t appear to be a ‘proper’ bar at the hotel where you could go for a drink but there was a lovely pizza restaurant nearby which made up for it ! :)

Location is perfect. Not too far from Montreux and Lausanne but so nice and quiet. Book an lake view room for sure. The view is out of this world. Breakfast is very luxury and also the view is amazing. Such a good deal as well for what you get. Free parking was nice as well.

I would like more thick pillows but thats a personal preference. The bathroom felt a tad small. Also it would be nice if the rooms had card room keys as when travelling together its not really possible to leave the room seperate as there is only one key which is also big to take around. Just small things. Would still recommend

The view is amazing. The room is ok for short stay. Breakfast is great. But would be nice if the bacon is cooked more. We enjoyed our dinner amazing foods. Other than that the staffs are welcoming and we received good service.

Not enough street lights going through the hotel. But would be great if the door to the deck can be crank instead of opening it. Even though we are on 4th floor still plenty of mosquitos went in the room. The shower door can't close properly so when you shower water goes on the floor.

The hotel is located on a wonderful location. The view from the restaurant and the rooms is amazing. Even though we had a corner room we still were able to enjoy some of the view over the lake. The breakfast buffet had many options both salty and sweet. The stuff was very friendly. Our room was clean and had enough space for two people.

The only “disadvantage” is that the bathroom could be better equipped. The toilet seat was not properly screwed and would move around. Same with the handle for the toilet paper which would always fall down. The shower system was not easy to adjust and would switch from hot to cold water on its own at times.

The view! Well worth a lake/mountain room, the view is stunning! Loved how close it was to Montreux for Freddie/Queen fans. On-site free car parking was perfect for us. Also we hadn't realised we needed a different plug converter, reception allowed us to borrow one. Thank you.

Room needs a little upgrading, some painting around doors etc. Pillows very soft, perhaps need replacing? It should be busier, great location!

The hotel is in a beautiful location overlooking Lac Leman and is situated on the vineyard trail. Chexbres is a lovely little village. There are new comfortable seating areas outside on different levels facing the lake and there is also a very small lounge area. Towels and bedding are refreshed each day.

The rooms are very tight although you do get a balcony with awesome views of lake and mountains. Meals in Switzerland are very expensive.

We loved the location with that vast view of the lake.... perfect for someone who would like to meditate. However, you need to request a room with that view, or one may get a room facing the opposite. I wish I were there for one more night.

It was a little bit warm, which is not the hotel's problem. But it would have been better if the hotel offered a pedestal fan.

I've been to Prealpina twice before so I knew what to expect. It is my favorite hotel in the area as the location is superb, offering amazing views of Lac Léman and the vineyards. The staff was very friendly, polite and helpful. Good breakfast variety was also something I enjoyed. It definitely was not my last stay at Prealpina.

Although these are just small details that were really no big deal - the curtains were a bit tattered and bathroom door a bit dirty.
