Rasta Grums

The room is big, we are three persons, there are 1 double bed and 1 sofa bed. Also room is clean.

The hotel is almost like a guest house and around it are parking lots for trucks and cars, therefore, many trucks and cars park there. it is not so secure as 10 before in Sweden. There are thieves who break the cars' windows and take away the things. Yes, it happened half a year ago -- so we got a warning. It is true, in the same time, my friend shared another experience -- the driver stayed overnight in Gothenburg with an empty bus, the thieves broke the bus and took away all things including the driver's coat. They know why it happens. Sweden is no more in my travelling destination .

During our trip from Stockholm to Oslo, it was a very perfect place to stay. Even if this place is located next to a busy traffic road, in the room (we stayed 2nd floor) was very quiet. Beds were comfortable, room was tidy. Parking lot is free on charge. At the hotel there is restaurant, from where you can get some food and next to it is a Burger King. Breakfast was ok, not to much of a choice, but was possible to choose something. Staff was friendly and nice. The hotel has elevator.

Hotel reception is in the oil station. The restaurant was not very clean - floors and tables.

We had a good night sleep and got a good experience at our first stay at Rasta. We did not expect such a nice room on a stay just right aside a well travelled road and we surely were surprised that we did not really hear anything from that road noise inside. Everything was clean and tidy as well! The breakfast was more than we expected as well, so all in all we were very happy with this stay over night on our way and will for sure suggest to take a Rasta Room in the future if needed! Than you!

As said before, we got a very positive experience from what we expected so if there would be anything coming to mind... Maybe it would be nice to provide an electric kettle.

Quiet clean comfortable property.

The only complaint would be the food. We had both breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant. Food that was meant to be hot was barely warm both in the breakfast buffet and at dinner. I asked about a option for heating it up and was basically told that is what you get.

Great hotel when traveling from Norway to Sweden (or vice versa). A very decent breakfast. Easy chek-in and check-out. Shop, gas station on site, not far from Karlstad (18km). Excellent soundproofing in the rooms.

Sort of surprise on my long journey as normally sleeping in the cities. Strange doing check in at petrol station, but all great and smooth. Room, clean, spacious, comfortable.....looked like new one. Parking next to the hotel. Breakfast more than sufficient. Next time driving around, would stay again

Even thought the Hotel is located next to busy road, gas station and truck drivers staying over night the hotel and the rooms were super nice, clean and spacious! The breakfast in the morning and customer service at the gas station was super nice!

Location very good, close to the E18 from Oslo to Stockholm. Clean room and bathroom, comfortable beds. Very good breakfast included in the price. Good value of money.

It was an excellent roadside hotel. Breakfast had gluten-free options. Room fit our whole family and was clean. Staff was kind and helpful at breakfast.

Just a bit confusing where to check-in (at gas station) and must be checked in before 22:00 (due to COVID-19)

We have no rooms together but that is not a very big problem. If would be together, then would be perfect. There was no tea.
