Top rated restaurant in Negombo within the hotel. Rooms nice, bed comfy, shower good. Airport shuttle went smoothly. Staff excellent.

Noisy room as right above the restaurant and kitchen, struggled to sleep off the jet lag!

What an incredible place! The views were stunning, especially from the lovely breakfast/restaurant terrace - made you feel like you were eating in the jungle from the comfort of a beautiful modern setting. The staff were so accommodating and even found us the most lovely TukTuk driver Danushka who not only gave us a great rate, and a fantastic tour but went above and beyond finding us monkeys and special views. The room was modern, clean with an incredibly comfy bed and a great breakfast. If you're going to Ella, do go here!

There was construction going on next door which wasn't their fault but was quite loud.

The room smelled lovely when we arrived, like cinnamon and cloves. The staff very so friendly and we received a complimentary welcome drink. The air conditioning was cold which is needed for Sri Lanka in April. The shower had lovely water pressure. The bed was very comfortable and the balcony was nice to relax on in the early morning. The location is off the main road which makes it quieter but you can walk to the beach in 5-7 minutes which is great.

The Salt restaurant is downstairs, so if you are on the first floor, the noise can trickle to your room in the early morning and late night.

Hotel was overall very beautifully decorated and had a very nice atmosphere. It was close to the main street and the beach, just a short walk. The restaurant downstairs had a very good breakfast, it was restaurant level, not your typical buffet. The staff in the restaurant and in the hotel were amazing, so friendly and helpful. They made a lot of effort when they arranged a car for us, and made sure that we don’t overpay for it. We only stayed for one night, but we would definitely enjoyed more.

Clean rooms and toilet. Decent hot water. Powerful rain shower head. Service was exceptional (airport shuttle came out and front desk took me up to the room at midnight!). Decent WiFi (7 Mbps download). Air conditioning works great. Excellent Srilankan breakfast.

Pictures are misleading - room is smaller than it is. 6 flights of stairs (not suitable for elderly or injured).

The hotel is great!! Best bed we had in Sri Lanka and a really nice jacuzzi on the balcony. The massage (aroma therapy) was amazing, from the welcome drink, the treatment, the entire thing from beginning to end made you feel like a queen. Amazing! The staff at the restaurant was amazing as well, big shoutout to lassit (we dont know how to spell his name) and to the other guy that worked at breakfast, they made us feel welcome and were so nice! Great service. Thank you for our amazing stay.

It was comfortable& welcome after a long flight. The breakfast, which was included, was very tasty& filling. The complimentary pick up from the airport was very welcome.

It was a bit difficult to line up a transfer to our next hotel for the start of our tour. Hotel Taxi prices are over the top(US$30 for a 15min journey). We finally got a ride share(Pick Me Sri Lanka) for 1600rupees( about AUD $8) With many thanks to the front desk staff for their help.

Location was good for getting to airport and near to beach and restaurants. Room had everything I needed. Staff were all nice and polite. WiFi worked well. I only had breakfast on last day as it was convenient - it was ok, although a tad expensive for what it was when converted to LKR.

There was no cleaning of the room for my entire stay - 3 nights. Not sure why. It wasnt clear whether I was supposed to ask for it or whether it would be done automatically (as in other hotels). The spa treatment list was provided. Again very expensive when charged in dollars.

Great communication before and during our stay. We arrived earlier than check-in and did not wait long. The receptionist Sangika was super friendly and helpful with our special requests: We were able to leave our bags at the reception during our last day and come back in the evening for dinner at the restaurant and a massage session. We even got the airport transport that night (having checked out in the morning). Great staff overall and calm ambience. The room was perfect with a hot tub on the balcony.
