Elba Vecindario Aeropuerto Business & Convention Hotel

just checked out after my now second visit. first for New Year’s Eve and then a week in March for more winter sun. if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing experience then this hotel is for you. located next door to the Atlantic shopping complex you have everything you need on your doorstep. staff are friendly and I was offered late check out until 4pm for no charge on my first visit and today was given until 1pm as they needed to clean the room, this wasn’t a problem as I went to the pool and then used the changing rooms to shower ready to catch the free courtesy mini bus to the airport which takes about 20 mins. rooms are excellent and beds are comfortable. rooms facing the sea (east) allow for beautiful views of the sunrise over the sea each morning if you don’t mind a little raid traffic noise. I just popped ear buds in. balconies get sun from sunrise (7:25) to nearly 12pm which is when the rooftop pool opens. air con is a plus and mini bar is just big enough to pop few of your own bits in if you don’t want to pay mini bar prices. bus route stops outside and you can get to most places of you fancy a change. take note if it’s cloudy where you are it might be sunny in another place such as maspalomas or even Las Palmas. I walked to the nearest town of pozo Izquierdo which is a nice 1.5 hour round trip. just walk opposite reception over the pedestrian crossing and go left past the wind turbines. you’ll get to a rocky beach turn right and you’ll find a couple of bars. not sure if it’s safe at night in that location but I was back before sunset. being a solo traveler I like to keep my whits about me. I would definitely stay here again. showers in rooms are always constant hot water. you get a complimentary bottle of water on arrival.

pool bar would be a bonus and if it opened abit earlier than 12. pool water cold but it’s refreshing when it’s a hot day. sauna is a really nice touch that is also free of charge like the gym. you have to be savvy with the Sun loungers, they are very comfortable but you might have to keep moving to dodge the shadows cast by the structure of the hotel overhead. very clean pool though and lifeguards friendly and always on duty until 6pm.

We needed a place to overnight between two flights. This hotel is the closest to the airport and also offers a free transfer service - perfect for our requirements. The room was spacious and well appointed. We didn't make use of the hotel facilities other than the breakfast which was very good. There are also a couple of restaurants nearby which were still open when we arrived (around 11pm) and were perfect for grabbing a quick meal before bed.

We only stayed one night and didn't really make use of any of the facilities, so we have no complaints. Everything was good! I guess if you were planning to stay for a holiday, you might want to be closer to towns or beaches but for a one-night stay between flights it was perfect for us.

This was a last minute booking after canceling an apartment booking that didn’t have air conditioning. So glad we did! This was a great location as a base to explore and having on site covered parking was a plus. The hotel had all the facilities we wanted, great pool, fitness centre, great buffet breakfast and very comfortable spacious room with a balcony. Friendly, helpful staff too. Being close to the airport was convenient and the huge shopping mall across the road was a bonus. Enjoyed our stay here, would stay again.

The reception girls were nice and friendly. The bus driver was extremely nice and service minded .

The food was awful from beginning to end! We had tosta mista tasting nothing, lunch some strange pork meat big piece without any sauce or vegetables totally dry and disgusting. I had a hamburger in the “ bar” in the evening. Grey, dry, tasteless and some hard pieces in it. Only took one bite! In the morning I skipped the breakfast for a nice “ latte” since it was written the “ bar” opened 10:30. No one there not even when I left 11:15 with the lovely bus driver .

Great business hotel room (exec) with balcony out to ocean & motorway. Quiet when inside - the double glazing works - with aircon if needed. Excellent breakfast - range, quality & price. Access to local restaurants in town by foot (El Refugio & Humus were both great) & Thu to Sat, Galotia Brewery tap, 25 mins walk away. Good wifi. Comfortable bed.

Hard to find any negatives. Maybe not the place for you if you wanted an oceanside resort, quaint tourist village or a secluded hideaway.

Breakfast was exceptional very varied choice to suit all tastes. Evening meal service was good, all meals were delivered punctually and were beautifully prepared. Shuttle from the Airport wasn't running on the day of arrival, however reimbursement from the Hotel was offered on production of receipt ,an excellent gesture.

Honestly nothing, completely met all of our expectations.

-If you have a car , the position of hotel is very good, because you stay between Las Palmas and South citys,you dont have to travel much max 17- 35 min. - 10 minutes from airport. -Easy to park . -I dont say is best hotel ,but for what you pay is good for what you get. -The Brekfest is good. -The Bar in hotel is ok . - Big shopping centre Antlantiko is 3min walk. - You can get test in Mirtinez pharmacy in town ,what is from hotel 15 walk or 7min by car .PCR cost 80 euro and antigen for 30 euro.

-We had to rroms ,332 and 331 .From bathroom ,room no.331 every time we enter are room ,it smell quite bad. - If you keep balony ope over night, the street is very noisy. - A would prefer standart pillows not from hotel. - The hall coridors to the hotel rooms need big needs lots of etension, painting , new carpets atc.

I visited there with my family. At the airport shuttle bus was nicely arranged, waiting for us just outside the airport. Although there were not much of things for the kids but they try their best to accommodate them. I received an extra bed for my daughter (4 years) and a free breakfast every day. Nice entrance, excellent rooftop pool (only cold water), 24x7 minimalistic gym (minimum required machines are available), Nice room with balcony with an excellent view. A few minutes walk to Atlantic shopping mall. All in all, I had a very good experience.

The room was ready early, and quickly changed when we requested a double. Close to shops and restaurants, within walking distance. Check out was allowed upto 1400.

Breakfast was very good apart from 2 days when the standard was a poor. I mentioned to the chef, which made no difference. Had 1 evening meal, no al a carte menu available

Room very comfortable and clean. Walk in shower provided as requested. Buffet breakfast is very good. Bar prices are very reasonable. Location next to Atlantico is excellent. Shuttle bus a big plus for the airport. Staff very friendly and helpful. The use of a pool is also a plus.

A grab rail could be provided for walk in shower for anyone who is unsteady. For an overnight stay the view of the petrol station is ok but for longer stays the sea view would be better.
