La Luna Blanca

Small hotel but great service and facilities. A large (ground floor) room with lovely huge private terrace w 2 chairs & small table. This terrace would lead to the swimming pool though this was closed from end of October. Bathroom also very big / had both shower and bath (with another shower!) Unusual toilet! and odd mirrors over basin! Overall we loved our stay and plan to return. The breakfast was absolutely superb / we have never had better even though we have traveled extensively around the world to all Continents and 2 World Cruises Not for those who like big fry/ups perhaps but the abundance of fruit / fresh & home/dried was wonderful, Also cereal and selection of bread & croissants with unusual but tasty home made jams. Yogurts too to accompany pineapple, orange, melon, banana, grapes and more, each day!

Wish we had booked for longer! A little way back from the promenade. Can't think of any negatives / just a great discovery for future short breaks

Super comfy beds. Very clean rooms, our kid even have not get dust allergy (as usually in other hotels). Soft towels. Nicest personnel. Warm pool. Delicious breakfest with high quality food. Love it! Thank you very much.

The junior suite was very spacious, but the bed is 2,10 wide and 1,80 long (not the other way around), which was a surprise to my 2,06 boyfriend. We made it work though. Breakfast was very good, it was a large buffet and there were many things from which to choose. The location is excellent, approx 10 minutes walking to the beach (and not so much uphill on the way back!).

There was construction going on right next door, so we couldn't sit on the balcony or by the pool in the yard when they were working, as there was a LOT of dust. Luckily for us, they don't work Saturdays, Sundays and Christmas, so we were only bothered by it for two days. Those days we went down to the boulevard and beach, problem solved!

This was our second stay at La Luna Blanca. We requested a ground floor garden room and that is what we got🙂 room was great and had everything we needed with a very comfortable bed and terrace that lead straight to the pool.

There was very little not to like but after 10 days the breakfast was very repetitive. Breakfast is between 8:30 and 10:30 but when it is done then it is done. If you were any later that 9:30 there was very little choice of hot food and it was not replenished

We rented a room for 2 persons for 6 nights in October and room was quite spacious. Area was very quite, even cars were not driving in the evening, at least we did not hear it. Sea was 500 m away, easy to walk, walking back there was a little bit uphill, but still easy. In the seaside there are many fish restaurants. Aldi and Lidl and small markets are like 200-300 m walking distance. Breakfast was very good, continental. Room was clean and conditioner was accessible. Sometimes it was possible to hear neighbors, but not much. Beds were comfortable and we felt fresh after the sleep.

Our stay was perfect: room, location, staff, BREAKFASTS were all great! If only you have a chance to reserve your stay at this hotel, do not hesitate! It was really easy to get to the hotel by train; the neighbourhood is really quiet what is the additional plus.

There was nothing we didn't like.

breakfast was beautiful, good quality, very well presented, felt very different to other hotels I’ve visited. we enjoyed breakfast outside twice. the breakfast room was nice and airy with lots of space and it had a lovely calm atmosphere. the pool area is lovely and I liked the fact that you can’t get out of your depth in the pool. the room did feel tired however after a good night sleep I felt quite at home. we had a big bathroom, a cold fridge, a kettle (we brought our own coffee), wine glasses, corkscrew, safe,clothes airer, good air con and the bed was comfy. the hotel is quiet and homely,the staff are nice and are helpful if you need anything (happily came to help with our tv). it is a bit of a walk from the beach . about 4 minutes walk from the main road but it’s worth it for the quiet residential area and the peaceful feel about the hotel. this hotel may not suit you if you have mobility issues as no lift and it may not be the best place if you have young children to entertain. if you enjoy breakfast and it doesn’t have to be a full english type breakfast, want somewhere chilled out to fully relax and would like to get some steps in this hotel may be for you. we will definitely stay here when next in la cariheula.

the hot choices at breakfast (the eggs and bacon) were not warm enough. the bacon was lovely though. need a few more clothes hangers in the room. I’m sure if I had asked they would have given me some more but I just didn’t get round to asking.

I was in February in the hotel. It was very quiet. The room had a nice balcony. The breakfast was surprisingly good. Sometimes I thought I was the only guest in het hotel. The owners are superfriendly and sympathetic.

With public transport it is not easy to go to the hotel. The swimming pool was not available to use (possibly after asking). Maybe naive of mine to think you can swim in the open air in February...

Good value for the money. Breakfast was perfect , has everything and the quietness was appreciable. Can be taken outdoor and even along the pool. Charming stay.

Furniture : a little old but functional.

Great hotel to relax. Perfect swimming pool facilities. Good location near La Carihuela beach and shopping area. We already booked for next visit in Torremolinos! Highly recommended.
