Playas del Rey

Very good location, just a few minutes walk to the beach and still a quiet area. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The pool and the small garden had a nice atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent, a lot of options including various pastries, fruits, cold cuts, etc. and you could sit outside to eat. There was public parking nearby (a few mins walk) for free. It was great to have a balcony of good size. The room was cleaned every morning. For this price, it is a good place to stay at.

The room was a little outdated, not as seen on the pictures. It could use new furniture and bedding. The shower is a bit small, would be great to have a better curtain at least. We got a room on the first floor, the view was not very nice from there - we were facing another building.

Staff were nice, hotel is very clean and only 5 min walking to very nice beach. Breakfast was fair, simple but good.

I have asked for double bed, as usual I got 2 single beds together, but they were not good for a couple, the beds were splitting and in the morning there was like 20cm separation between them, and the border of the mattresses were hard and not comfy for a couple who wants to sleep together. It was also a not good surprise to see that the rooms don't have a tiny fridge (we never checked any hotel to see if they have, but before all of them did) and in a weather of +30'C it is hard to have drinks in the room at that temperature....

Very clean and comfortable. very accommodating to our requests. lovely view and two minute walk to beach.

not great gluten free breakfast options. no tea/coffee facilities or fridge in the bedroom.

The young lady looking after things in the restaurant. Miserable and had difficulty even saying good morning and started to clear up at exactly 10-00. I tried to get a coffee at 10-05, stood with a cup in my hand behind a gentleman who was making one for himself, this same young lady came in front of me, lifted the front of the machine up and told me drinks were finished. I said I just wanted a coffee and she said quite curtly, 'NO'. I have never come across such rudeness!

All of the above - the view was on the fifth floor, overlooking the bay - air conditioning was exceptional, room sizes are smaller, but still very manageable, and the price was less than 1000 dollars for almost seven night stay. Breakfast is exceptional and the staff very knowledgeable on things to do, taxis, directions, as well as working with you on laundry and special requests for your room.

Nothing - everything was at the quality that was expected, as we have stayed here every summer since 2021.

The room was basic but comfortable. The location is ideal with many restaurants, shops, bars, cafes, beaches and retail shops within walking distance. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast (which was included) was good with a wide variety of items (hot items and continental stuff as well). That was a pleasant surprise.

The double bed in our room was a bit small for my husband and I as we are both quite tall. The bed linens were very basic. There could have been a bit more padding on the bed. The towels were also a bit thin. Though the air condition in the room was on, the room never got very cool. We could not do any adjustments to the AC so we just had to bear with it. It was very hot outside for the few days we were there so I presume that would have an impact on the level of cooling within the room.

Comfy beds and good air conditioning. No frills but a great place to stay. Breakfast wasn't the ritz but was fun and provided a lot of fuel for fun days out in the neighbouring towns.

The staff was so friendly. Breakfast was delicious and the view of the room was lovely too.

The air conditioning unit was working very slow. Took a long time to cool down the room. There were extra charges for the fridge.

Nice bar breakfast and cleaners in every day

The sun is not around the pool all day and with very limited number of beds made it difficult to laze all day.
