The pool is very nice, and the location is perfect, right beside the beach and set back from the main road. The buffet dinner and breakfast are well worth using. Lots of choice and lovely quality food. I am a vegetarian and there are plenty of options to choose from.

The location of the hotel is excellent, in the ‘quiet’ part of Puerto del Carmen. Plenty of restaurants and shops in the immediate area. Three supermarkets within a three minute walk of the hotel. Rooms have a microwave and refrigerator in them, plenty of closet and drawer space. Terraces are quite large with two loungers for private sunbathing. Large bathroom, beautiful walk in shower. The staff is cheerful and welcoming, from the wait staff to maintenance and housekeeping service. I cannot stress how immaculately clean the hotel is. Even the buffet meal areas in the dining room are kept very clean. There is a large variety of food offered. The breakfast buffet is amazing with fresh juices, fruits, cereals, breads of every kind, pastries, pancakes, churros and made to order eggs and omelets. There are choices for dinner for all tastes, including vegetarian., fresh lettuce and salad ingredients. There are multiple activities for children and adults — aquagym classes in the pool and French bowling on the beach. The hotel borders a walkway and a huge beautiful beach. You can rent loungers and an umbrella for two for a modest daily fee of 10€50.

The only complaint I have is that the meat and fish offerings on the dinner buffet could be better. The bed was a bit hard.

Absolutely beautiful hotel , location was at the quieter end of the main stretch but a five minute walk took us to were it all began . Bus stop over road and local shop for water etc . Rooms were spacious and absolutely spotless. Beds very comfy and there was a great hairdryer too Staff very friendly amd attentive , they work so hard . We were there September so it was slightly quieter than summer hols it was still very busy . no issues getting sunloungers by the pool . Two pools one shallow for children and if you want to relax there's the hot tub too . Lots of choice for food and usually found something we liked . Lovely touch that they cook fish / meat to order . Would definitely revisit here .

Very little we didn't like although maybe a few changes to breakfast would be worth the hotel considering. More healthy cereal choices ie granola, bran flakes . Some berries would be nice at breakfast too . Some of the food was hard under heat lamp ie pancakes but towards the end of our break this improved . Would of love to have seen English sausage and bacon on the buffet.

The staff were very friendly. The food was fantastic and we had the option with half board to choose either lunch or dinner. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the location was superb.

The rooms are not as private as I would like. Everyone walking by can see directly into each of the rooms. Also, the air conditioning was very weak and not enough to keep the room cool. There was no window in the room which meant that we were unable to sleep properly with the lack of ventilation. The only means of entry and exit is the patio door which creates a security risk.

I love everything about this place..the location from the airport..beside the beach...the main strip for bars and restaurants...the layout of the hotel ..the space...pool..facilities..this is my second time here and it's been so good. All of the staff are so friendly and helpful from the reception to the restaurant to the cleaners..well recommended!

Only one issue...we had requested a double bed but it was 2 singles pushed together so with separate mattresses and sheets etc...the beds don't latch together so they can tend to push apart. It'd be nice if there were proper doubles ..

We booked las Costa’s for 4 of us including our parents who celebrated their 80th birthday during covid. How happy we were to be upgraded to full sea view and champagne on arrival. located on the beach in a quiet area of playa del Carmen, but a taxi was only a few euros to the old town or if you like walking there are lovely sea views. The rooms are large and ours was on the ground floor which opened out onto a lovely balcony. The staff were so nice especially on reception. They couldn’t do enough for us. We only went for breakfast option which had everything you could think of from fry to vegetarian options porridge pancakes continental breakfast fruit. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you like a bit more up market and peace and quiet. Will definitely return

We loved everything.

All meals had an excellent choice of fare on offer. The wine options were very good and the staff were very diligent in clearing the tables and ensuring that all guests had no difficulty in finding a free table.

Lack of coffee/tea at the end of dinner in the dining room. Other than that we had nothing to compain about.

Clean, comfortable, spacious and well looked-after hotel. We stayed for a weekend in a room facing the seaside. We enjoyed a large room with a living space including sofa, coffee table and lots of storage room. A bathroom was modern and well equipped. The apartment also had a private outdoor patio with a pair of chaise- longs and dryer rack. The shared facilities included a good size pool, all day functioning jacuzzi, sauna, gym, game room. The breakfast buffet had numerous options to choose from including chef making scrambled or fried eggs as per request. There was juice, tea and coffee (not espresso though). The dinner choices were plentiful as well, including the numerous desserts and fresh fruit. The hotel is just in front of a beach, so you can leave in just bikini and towel to have a swim in the ocean. The staff at the reception and the restaurant are very professional and helpful. In theory you can spend the whole holiday and have a comfortable and relaxing time without leaving the hotel. The town centre with the ‘touristy’ activities and the old town with good restaurants is quite a walk away although quite pleasant, but you can also rent a scooter or get a taxi to get around.

Excellent breakfast and friendly cook. Dinner had a good and varied selection.Room size was very good.Heated pool. Friendly and helpful staff. Evening entertainment was generally good but the pillars sometimes made it difficult to see the acts.

There was breakfast cava only on a Sunday whereas in all other 4 star hotels we have stayed in it is there for a bucks fizz to start your day everyday.The dining room staff did not appear to have good knowledge of the wine list prices and overcharged us on two occasions but to be fair this was corrected at reception as we checked out. There was no lift from reception to the lower floor amenities ,pool and dining room.

Hotel Las Costas is a well located hotel near all amenities. Exceptionally clean. Good selection of food. Staff were very accommodating. We had a problem with our safe (my mistake)and the repair man was at our door within 5 mins and this was at 8pm! Overall an excellent hotel. Will definitely return.
