Very relaxed and clean vibe in hotel. Friendly and helpful sraff. Lots of breakfast options.Only 20min relaxing stroll to harbour and main town. Beachfront and lovely part of the beach too.

Stayed in single room which was absolutely fine. Bed frame could’ve been more sturdy-seemed to move a little when I moved during the night, but not a huge problem. Room was at back, View was ok of hills with only a bit of tiled roof obscuring slightly. Not a problem for myself as got a good price for the single room and I was out hiking/at beach m/relaxing on the lounge beds at front of hotel most of the time. If staying as a couple,I would definitely pay for balcony/sea view.

Lovely hotel. Very central and a wonderful stroll into the centre on the promenade. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the hotel itself beautifully laid out with plenty of sunbeds available. We swam in the sea which is literally across the road, and the beach is clean and well maintained. There are plenty of restaurants and shops along the prom too. Our room was lovely ,with effective air conditioning and a well maintained bathroom.

When we initially arrived, we were put in a tiny room that opened out onto a shared patio. It had no privacy and we didn't feel that it warrented the price of our stay. However we were moved very quickly to a superior room when we spoke to Daniel at reception.

The food was lovely , the settng is excellent. The staff were helpful and friendly. It is very clean and a wonderfully relaxing place to stay and would love to return next year.

The reason l only gave 3 stars was the sea water. If you read the local press you will see that there is a problem with E.coli. There are no warning signs. A local woman told me so l asked the life guard and l was told the water is tested by scientists. However, the yellow flag related to the most recent test result which was 3 days ago.She said she couldn't tell me whether it should be red, yellow or green for that day as they just waited for the latest result to be phoned through. There are no warning signs...horrifying. Please sort the sea. We want to return to the hotel next year. She tried to blame it on the rain, but l have been swimming in Puerto Pollenca and Son Baulo for 30 years ( with a brake since COVID) and rain is never a problem. E.coli doesn't originate from rain !

First reaction was poky dark room, far away from everything staff not terribly friendly (no one specific - could simply be me stressing about the bike room, which seemed chaotic). Anyway, I soon came to appreciate the quiet location away from the town centre with noisy restaurants and loud entertainment. My room was big enough for my bike box and me, the bed was super and I had a nightinggale singing for me every evening/morning. Muesli was available for the very early starts, the staff was actually very helpful and friendly, and the pool area just super. Breakfast was fab. Yes I shall book next year, thank you.

The bike room was not managed very well, as a consequence keys were limited and bikes were linked together taking up one of the few available slots with a key for the lock. I worked out in the end.

Buffet Breakfast was good and enjoyed a pre dinner drink at the front. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Free beach towels and bike hire from the hotel (for a small fee). Access to the beach and sunloungers at the front of the hotel. Hotel is well maintained.

Other guests claiming sunloungers and then not using them all day. Getting a taxi was hard and could take up to 45 minutes (except to airport which could be booked in advanced). We did not get the type rooms that we booked on the website which was frustrating for some in our party.

Room was nice, though there was a funny smell in the bathroom. View from room was nice. Pool area was lovely with really nice sun beds and pool. Pool area faced the sea which was nice (though there was a street in between). Gym was bright and airy, though only a few machines. Nice walk into town. Beach has soft sand with nice back drop of mountains on one side, though it was quite a narrow beach it did the job. Water sports eg kayaks, pedalos etc near by

The hotel is across the street from the beach and the pool area is facing the street. Though it didn't bother us too much. The aircon was rubbish and didn't cool down room even though it was blasting air out. Thin walls between rooms. The area isn't as non-touristy as we expected, though it was fine for us as we still had fun wandering around the shops etc

From the moment, we checked in to check out the experience was exceptional all staff, extremely helpful, especially Daniel (Danie) Breakfast was exceptional also every day and the staff very obliging at meeting any extra dietary requirements. We will definitely stay here again and unreservedly. Recommend it to family and friends. Anything else you want

In all honesty could not improve thank you

Staff, breakfast, location, pool and outside space were all fantastic. Right across the street from a lovely beach and 15 minutes walk into town. Beautiful views of the bay, good quality entertainment every other day.

Room was on the small side with a step up to the bathroom. Toilet was squeezed in too tightly between the shower and the sink. Had a huge, long balcony which meant we couldn't really see the sea from the room. AC was really noisy.

We were staying for 9 nights. On arrival the room we were given was not acceptable. It was the standard of a 2 star possibly 3 star hotel, not what we were paying. We had no balcony and the bathroom door could not open fully as the toilet blocked it. We brought our complaint to the reception and they moved us to another room which matched what we were paying & what you should get at 4 star Hotel. The staff at reception were very accommodating and friendly with us. They are a credit to the Hotel.

Our First room, should not have been given to guests that were paying €3500.00 for staying at this hotel. It was small pokey, old fashioned, dull, the toilet that was not accessible and it had no balcony. I think it was room 151.

This was our 4th stay at the Hoposa Uyal, which we've always chosen due to it's excellent location, excellent breakfast and great facilities for cyclists (like us) bringing their own bikes.

There was a small issue on check-out, due to someone incorrectly charging drinks/food to my room, which took a little longer to sort than I would have liked (we had a taxi waiting!) as had to wait for a member of management team to arrive - this was early in the morning.
