Hotel RH Portocristo & Wellness

Fantastic small hotel ,we had full board and all 3 buffets were excellent with the chefs cooking some to order spoilt for choice and a good selection of wines , nice outside bar too . Staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough for you , hotel is spotlessly clean and the room cleaned every day . We had a sea view room with a large balcony with 2 sun koungers, really large window so when we woke in the morning and pulled back the curtains (fantastic blackouts ) we were greeted with a view of the sea and old city . Definitely return again as Peniscola is a beautiful town with a really large choice of restaurants and bars and miles of beach which is very safe and patrolled by life guards . Highly recommend the hotel and location .

Lovely hotel in a fabulous location. The staff were all extremely nice and the buffet breakfast was superb with lots of choice. We also had the buffet evening meal which was also very good and excellent value for money. We used the public underground car park across the road which was €25 a day. Easy stroll to the old town and castle. The front facing rooms are worth the extra price with amazing views and sunrises.

Perfect location with excellent view. We got the room with the balcony in front of the sea with direct views for the castle, highly recommend it. Breakfast was okay. The pool has a good size with a bar on the side. They serve a buffet lunch at the restaurant priced at €16, reasonable quality. They have a deal with the private underground parking right in front so you pay around €12 per day (50% off compared to regular price).

Bed was really uncomfortable, so as pillows, paper-thin. We wish there was also some more sheets/blankets available.

this hotel is situated on the Peñiscola boulevard, excellent hotel, with an exceptional good breakfast. the staff is very friendly and service is done with a smile, something which I believe is important. worthwhile returning here. there is a parking right across from the hotel (the automation has a bit of an issue with foreign license plates... but thus is easily solved.

Overall very happy with the hotel. I booked it after reading it had a restaurant. However as i booked in i was informed the restaurant was closed during the winter season and we were expected to find a local restaurant outside of the hotel. Booking.com should have made this clear at the time of booking.

The room was clean and tidy as what you expect from 4 star. However i had to upgrade to have a view of the sea as the room provided looked onto another hotel.

Super nice location, close to everything (the old town, restaurants, shops, etc.) Room clean and with great terrace. Tasty and abundant breakfast

Spa is very little, they make us share it with another couple and it was unconfortable because we couldn't use the same jacuzzi or sauna. We had to wait for each other.

Asked one of the receptionists if there were taxis up to the old town at night and he said no. However while walking up there we encountered one coming down. Didn't really matter as walk was nice.

Lovely comfortable rooms - fantastic location - exceptional staff …. Alex is a credit to you. oh and the spa was lush.

There was some outside work which was a bit noisey. we appreciate you upgrading but perhaps we could have been warned in advance

Very modern smart hotel with great facilities in a great position opposite the sea and a fantastic beach… and near to the castle! Definitely a great choice! Friendly helpful staff and good food buffets. Definately go back!

Every thing you needed only downside the coffee from the machine was always cold

Would have liked the air conditioning in the bedroom to be able to turn the temperature down to a lower setting
