Hotel Clarin

Excellent helpful staff. Good location 10 minutes walk from the Bus Station. The hotel is situated in a nice largely pedestrianised street with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants. All of the tourist sites within Oviedo are reachable on foot by someone with a reasonable/good level of fitness. My room was equipped with everything I needed. Very comfy pleasant stay with one small niggle, see below.

My room was very hot. One wall in the bathroom was actually very warm to the touch. I struggled to get the Aircon working in a way that dealt with the heat without being fiercely cold. The Aircon unit got very noisy. My one gripe. I may have lacked expertise.

A very good budget hotel in centre of Oviedo. Its in the main shopping district and a 10 minute walk to the lovely old town. You can pull up outside for 15 mins following which you will be directed to an underground car park 5 mins walk away (€12 a day) which you can leave and enter anytime. Check in was fast and efficient. Staff were good. Room very clean. Didn't have breakfast as many options available nearby.

The location was excellent! Right in the heart of the city. Lots of restaurants, cafes, and shops right outside. 10 min walk from bus/train stations. The staff were all very sweet and super helpful with recommendations. The room had a great view of the cathedral across the street and was very clean and comfortable.

Nothing really. The street below was a bit noisy in the morning, but I'm a light and late sleeper.

Very conveniently located -- I walked to and from the bus station, and most of the main attractions were also an easy walk away. There are also bus stops and a laundromat nearby, and restaurants beside and across it. The hotel is modern and had great (polite and understatedly nice) customer service. My room was cozy, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Got two nights of good sleep on the bed, and the bathroom was clean and had all the comforts I needed.

This was a very good value hotel for being in the city center. Only 75 euro per night with air conditioning in the room and a nice bathroom and staff.

Bed needs updating. The rooms are somewhat more run down than it appears in the photos. Generally, the hotel room could use a renovation in the next 5 years, but was still good for the price

The location is right in the heart of town which particularly feels great when you're heading back for the evening's rest--very convenient. The mattresses are very comfy. Tamara made a great impression when we checked in.

I was a little disappointed that I booked a double bed but it was only two single beds side by side. They are definitely not equivalent and I'd rather know what I'm booking up front.

We arrived by car and the instruction the hotel sent us were perfect. We parked in a shopping center which was less than 50 m from the hotel. The receptionists were efficient and very helpful. The location is excellent. In 10 minutes you can be at the Cathedral, the main restaurant/cider street, the main park and many of the other sights in Oviedo.

Location excellent. Just a few minutes from old town and bus station Staff were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them especially Laura. Thank you for the hot water at night Laura.

Room had very little natural light. Need to keep lights on all the time.However did not worry me since I used room only to sleep

Good location and the cleaning staff are doing a very good job. Good air conditioning.

The window shade does not completely close. Reception needs to greet guests, not ignore them. Lighting was dim in the room.
