Checking in went smooth and the fact that most of the staff spoke english, was helpful. Breakfast was good. And the location was bang in the middle of town. The rooms were clean and the airco was great.

The many E-mails that were sent by the hotel in advance, often with the same info. And that apparently the breakfast was not included in the reservation. The water temperature in the shower had a bi-polar disorder, alternating from scorching hot to ice cold every 20 seconds

Staff very helpful and friendly. Included in the tariff, the evening meal was of high quality for the additional cost over the basic B&B tariff. Breakfast choices were fiine and the coffee was good.

No bar area in the hotel so we had to go in search of one in the Town. Our room was s little dated but was at least of a decent size. Parking felt expensive at 15 euros per day.

Staff was very nice and approachable; plus helpful in changing our room on day 2 since the wifi (in certain rooms we were told) is really poor, especially if the hotel is full. Everything else from location, history of the building, and amenities were great!

All staff (reception and restaurant) really helpful, friendly and professional. Good breakfast. Location. Good variety, and prices, in the restaurant. Rooms very generous size and also very clean.

Room was a little cold during the night and the air conditioning could not be used as it caused an uncomfortable draft. Reference to parking facilities on the Booking.com website is slightly misleading - Parking is off-site and is chargeable (although the hotel did arrange a discounted rate :-)!)

We had a late check in, the hotel has a nice reception area with English speaking staff. The facilities are clean and well equipped. Car Parking is approx 100m away in an underground car park, you can pay for this at the hotel reception.

As we arrived late in the evening the restaurant kitchen had closed (22:30) we had a walk around locally but couldn't find anything open, this may be different in high season.

Staff at the breakfast room did not like to speak English. I saw them greet and talk to Spanish guests but for me, a foreigner, they took note of the room number and left me alone. No explanation on there choices of breakfast, no talking at all.

Great location, super-helpful staff (especially on check-in) and safe underground parking just a short walk away. Great breakfast and comfy beds. We stayed for two nights and would have been happy to stay longer.

Excellent location.Clean and modern-ish room in historic hotel. Great value for money. Orihuela is a historic town with some good hikes round the mountain and along the river

very good hotel in the center of Orihuela. big twin room, clean and comfy. it's located in a restuctured palace from 1700, with old wooden beams and high ceiling. the staff is very helpful; mr. carlo at reception is very friendly and helped us out immediately when needed. the heating worked fine for us, unlike comments from previous guests; you just need to study with some attention the display that is on the side of the heater. overall a good stay at excellent price-quality ratio.

nothing to dislike. maybe parking could be a little problematic, given the central location of the hotel.

The Hotel has interesting architecture, a really nice restoration, very convenient restaurant in the hotel. The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful, well informed about the area also.
