Ideal hotel to use as a base if going to concerts . Nice touch having free iced water in the reception.The reception staff helpful with general information.

As a suggestion to management if there’s a concert on in the bullring it would be great to have somewhere to have a drink before heading to rooms…closing the bar at 11.30pm when the knight is still young and the clients are still on a high…on the night 4 th Aug the barman kindly stayed 10 mins longer than his shift…to serve at least 25 clients asking for liquid refreshment….therefore both the hotel benefiting from the sales and the barman from the tips he received.

The hotel room was large, very clean, with a huge and comfortable bed. The blackout curtains were very effective. We slept well for the 5 nights we stayed. The location meant that we could be in the old city within just a few minutes walk. Breakfast was good with lots of choices. Great fresh fruit too. Our stay was during the Spring Festival, full of parades, music, fireworks, and typical food in the 40 "orchards" set up in the city. Fabulous time to visit.

The service in the hotel bar/bistro was terrible. We expect to encounter slow service in Spain sometimes, but this was a whole new level. On our third visit the waiter responded to my several requests to take our order with gestures only, then promptly ignored us. The bistro was not particularly busy. After a half hour or so we gave up. On our first day we had got some food eventually and it was pretty good. Reception staff were okay, but not particularly welcoming or friendly. Our electronic keys failed to let us into the room on 3 occasions. So, overall we enjoyed our stay, but the hotel could make improvements.

Room and bathroom excellent.Breakfast was also very good and well worth paying the extra for.

Upon returning from a concert at the bullring,of which there were many guests returning to the hotel which is just around the corner from the bullring, we were all told we could only have one drink at the bar.The night porter was so stressed,he was trying to take room service requests as well.He did not know the prices of any drinks,a queue built up out of the door of the bar,yet no other member of staff offered to help.People tried to order multiple drinks which he argued about.This was at 11.30pm.As soon as the last person was served the bar was locked.A strange thing in a 4 star hotel.

Great rooms, very spacious, we booked the deluxe room which was slightly bigger and we received fresh fruit and bottled water daily. Breakfast was very good and a nice selection of hot and cold food as well as pastries and cereals. Fresh orange juice and coffee was also available. Bed very comfortable and large. All staff w e re friendly and welcoming. Great little bar/bistro on site too but not a lot of selection for meals, although everything we had was very tasty.

Nothing really not to like but would have been nice to have a proper restaurant onside as there is space for it hut seems to be used for private functions.

The Occidental Siete Coronas is perfectly placed to visit the Cities main attractions such as the Cathedral, the Casino and the Museo de Santa Clara. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance and a short walk over the river Seguro will take you to the Jardín de Floridablanca which was the first public garden to be opened in Spain. Another bonus of staying here is that public parking is available directly opposite the Hotel although the hotel also has private parking also.

There are no downsides to staying at the Occidental Siete Coronas.

Excellent location, the hotel is close to the Cathedral and other important sights of the city. We really liked the river bank promenade. Lots of good restaurants nearby. The breakfast was excellent, better than we expected.

Although we were told previously that there are plenty of parking spaces in the hotel's parking, there were none during our stay. The guys from the reception were pretty helpful, though, and directed us to a nearby hospital's parking which proved to be excellent (and we received a 50% discount being clients of the hotel). So the inconvenience was not that harsh. Also, one elevator was out of order and we had to wait several minutes to get up or down.

The location was very convenient (as my Son lives 10 mins away). I was surprised by how quiet my room was (as it was facing the road). The outside bar is lovely, & the staff were very friendly & helpful. I’ll definitely be staying there again!

I was surprised there was no shower gel provided. (The shampoo/conditioner was a nice touch) as well as the liquid soap & hand cream. I just felt shower gel should have been provided. (You could substitute that for the hand cream).

The hotel was very professional and welcoming, fully air conditioned and providing all facilities required. With on site, secure parking below the hotel, exceptional breakfast included, and meals made to your request if desired. The room was large, peaceful and clean, with views over the river. I love that the bed linen was cotton, so felt fresh and cool after the heat of the city. This is an exceptional hotel and reasonably priced for the quality.

location for the Plaza de torro was perfect for the concert we were attending. We found parking right opposite the hotel which was ideal.

When we arrived it was 40 degree heat outside so we wanted to sit inside and get a drink from the bar. The seating was limited in the lounge area and we had to wait for seating to become available. When we all came back from the concert the bar was closed which was not good.

not quite as personable or as clean as other hotels we have stayed at in the region over the last 15 years felt very commercialised with a lack atmosphere and limited parking that we thought was expensive, shower run got then cold but did not complain as only stayed one night. window in deluxe room a little weird with no real view due to a parapet wall.
