Seaside Palm Beach

The hotel was very clean, distance to the beach was perfect and food was always delicious. The best about our stay were employees of the hotel. They were always very friendly, ready to help and make our stay great. We even got our room re-located to the quiter side of the hotel, when we mentioned at the reception that we are being disturbed by a loud music from the hotel bar in the evening. That is the only thing to be aware of - there is a program every night during the summer in the hotel restaurant and bar and sometimes, the music can be pretty loud and goes on until late hours. Many people enjoy it, but if you are not one of them, just mention that during the booking or at the reception and I am sure staff will be as helpful as they were at our case.

German domination of sunbeds at 6am in the morning and then left empty with their towels on until midday or later some days. I stay at many 5 star hotels around Europe and the best one remove the towels if the bed is not used for a length of time. This ensures there is always empty beds at all times.

Delicious food with live music in the evening, big territory with pools, palms, sauna and fitness centre. Free yoga classes (which I did not manage to attend). Very close to Maspalomas beach. Staff is very professional and always listening to clients.

Some dinners were on the menu and it took too long to get the food served.

The hotel is a land of plenty. No need to worry about getting a sunbed or a table. The buffets never run out. Good choice of facilities. The front desk is especially helpful.

Room lighting is modest, and the switching is confusing. WiFi is slow

The only thing is that they couldn’t provide iron in the room, so we had to use paid service to iron shirts

location is great , few meters away from beach , food is great quality with lots of variety and serves fresh juices in the breakfast , hotel stuff are amazing and always welcoming and serving with a smile

hotel is a bit old , needs some renovation , swimming pools are not warm enough , needs to be more heated , no activities to do at the hotel

the heated pool, pool areas, food choice and quality, staff, location, restaurant/wait staff (especially Crisna who was outstanding and friendly), room size and equipment

tiny but adequate bathroom, the room maids were loud in the morning chatting in the corridor when one would expect discretion in a 5* hotel, our room was above the unloading/loading dock which was generating a lot of morning noise (vans unloading, drivers talking)

The staff were all very friendly and professional. The food was always of a very high standard.

Being charged 5 euros for a bucket of ice from room service.

Great facilities and environment. Kids club was excellent for our 7 year old.

Dress-code for dinning areas not made clear on booking.com, lead to us have to purchase alternative clothing (ie long trousers!!), which actually looked less smart than the clothes we had brought.

Very well managed hotel. We specially like the excellent breakfasts on the patio. Several really nice pools including a children's pool and an over 14 only pool. The staff are excellent and all seem to speak at least 3 languages. COVID-care was well thought through and implemented, plenty of hand sanitiser points and staff ensured that the mask-wearing rules were enforced.
