Exe Málaga Museos

Alvaro and Marina who worked the reception area when we checked in were friendly and efficient. Clean room. Perfect locale!

I was surprised that one of the bath towels was full of holes! With the exception of Alvaro and Marina, the front desk staff weren't very friendly, e.g. didn't look up to greet us as we passed by.

Everything! Being able to walk everywhere in the city is great. We did hire a car too, but parked it for free just a 15 minute walk away. This meant we could easily drive out to, for instance, the Caminito del Rey, which is amazing and just an hour away. And when we got back from that, it was great to use the rooftop pool and the sun loungers. All in all, a really lovely hotel, with excellent staff, within a few minutes of museums, shops, galleries, and some superb food.

Very central location.Rooms very clean and towel change as required.Loved the rooftop pool and solarium which we had to ourselves most days.Staff very friendly and helpful.

We had a nice Juliette balcony with a view onto the street.This was lovely place to sit during the day but at night and through the night the street was generally busy and noisy.We only had breakfast once and found it quite limited with the only hot food on offer being scrambled eggs and small sausages both of which were cold.Having said that there were plenty of nice places nearby to eat in.

Inside pedestrian area. The city centre is easy to reach at walking distance. Also the beach is in reasonable walking distance.

4-seater room with 2 double bed. 1 double room was really small to sleep confortably in two adults and leave small space to move in the room. Small pool and small space. The refrigerator was broken, and maintenance service was present only in the morning. I informed reception in the early afternoon, so we couldn't have it fixed in the day. They offered me to keep my drinks in their fridge for the night to compensate.

location, friendly staff, lovely big room with big balcony. pool area and roof terrace small but perfect for city centre escape but as it was raining we didn’t avail.

street noise. we had to be up at 04:00 next day to catch early flights so went to bed early and at 22:00 there was loud drumming - a band - so much noise. there was. a parade being held to honour Our Lady so as much as we respect this being Christians I wish somebody had warned us they would be going right past our room. 😬. also upon arrival I banged my head on open wardrobe shelf and cut my head. my husband wanted to contact reception about it but I didn’t want a fuss.

Lovely hotel in a really great location. Our room had a tiny balcony which was great. We had a look at the roof terrace, which would be a huge bonus in Summertime to cool off with a dip in the pool. The young blonde receptionist was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Only complaint would be that there was a bad smell in the bathroom, not all of the time, but occasionally, one morning it was pretty bad but we left the window open while away were at breakfast and it was gone when we came back. We didn't report it to reception as we were out most of the day anyway. Would not put me off staying there again.

Noisy at night but not any fault of hotel

Everything was perfect especially the reception staff They went to so much effort to sort out our boarding passes with a smile We did not have breakfast at the hotel so I cannot comment on that We had been to Malaga four years ago and passed by the hotel every day and I decided then that is where we would stay if we ever returned to Malaga. The hotel is so near to everything especially the shops (for the wife) and a short walk to the beautiful sea front. The hotel is very near to many restaurants and is just across the street from a mini market shop we’re you can find most of your necessities. The hotel in general is one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in If we return to Malaga this the hotel we will be booking Thank you EXE Hotel

What could you not like about perfection

Excellent hotel, location can't be beat - right in the old town, but on the edge of the pedestrian zone so it's not too far a walk from the parking garage (not affiliated with the hotel, the garage is a city garage). A few minutes walk to all the restaurants and historic sites. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable, no criticisms. Very friendly and helpful staff who seemed to genuinely like their jobs and were patient in obliging our kids' desire to practice Spanish. Good breakfast. Overall a great value and would highly recommend.

Nothing. If you don't have too many suitcases, make sure you get directions to the parking garage before arriving -- it's easier to drive directly to the garage, rather than driving to the hotel and then having to backtrack to the garage.

Situated in the center of the city, but in a marginal area, not full with tourists. People are very helpful in managing all your wishes, kindly and professional. The breakfast was ok, enough things to choose from! Good restaurants nearby, and an excellent museum, Thyssen! The pool on the roof is so good in warm days!
