Staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Great location, very close to the beach and quiet but easy access to the city center. We had everything we needed (clean room, comfy bed, fridge and AC, kettle, good pressure hot shower, plenty of breakfast).

I was a bit anxious about accessing the property after late arrival as the information about it was a bit unclear, But in the end it was easy and straightforward so no problem.

Lovely little hotel with very friendly staff, although some had very little English but it really wasn't a problem. Our bedroom was the one shown on the website which was of good size with a large double bed and long pillows, well laid out bathroom. Very good location, close to several beaches with lots of good restaurants nearby. Bus stops to/from Malaga centre just outside hotel - very convenient and excellent value.

We really didn't dislike anything for our six night stay. The breakfast was good, it was served on a tray to your table but was quite similar every morning so became a little boring by the sixth morning but overall great stay.

I loved the authentic Spanish feel of this hotel, the location was literally perfect! 5 mins to the beach, bars and restaurants and 10 mins to the supermarket. Such a quiet and clean neighbourhood too, I was alone for half of my trip and I felt so safe walking round. The hotel was really quiet, I only saw 2 other guests the whole time even though it was full. The room was clean and spacious, with a mini fridge, air con and a smart tv so I could even watch my Amazon prime at night. Shower was good too with good water pressure. Taxi cost £28 from the airport and £8 to Malaga centre. I would definitely stay here again, such good value for money. I stayed in a superior room and the bed was very comfortable.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like, if I’m nit picking I’d say the hours for reception (9-4) I needed the iron at one point but there was no one to ask & towels are only changed every 3 days.

Lovely little hotel and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Great location for the Spanish school close by, the beach, and lots of restaurants on the beachfront. Good bus connections to the centre in a few minutes too. All in all, great value for money.

It would have been nice to have been able to sit in the breakfast room throughout the day, and I had a few issues with the online check-in form. But these are only minor things that could maybe be improved, overall everything was great.

see in walking distanz, beech with longer sunshine than those by malaga center (half of april), bus connection ok, really friendly and good RECYCLOBIKE SHOP (9-17) aprx. 550 m on the same street towards MALAGA. Possibility to have a breakfast on hotel, but on see side also (wery good by hotel la CHANCLA, sitting on sun by beech, aprx. 350 m, down to beech and than right). If you don't plan spend time in the room, than is ELCANO good choice!

We have had two single beds side by side, but sliding. You need just constrict it together with some slackline :⁠-⁠)

The hotel is very nice and clean and a 3 minute walk from the beach, restaurants and bars. we stayed on a downstairs room that we thought would be a bit dark but it was actually very comfortable and cool considering how warm it was outside (although there’s AC if you need). there was plenty of light coming in as well.

we tried the breakfast one of the mornings and it’s very simple without many options. if it’s not included, you may want to explore other places nearby. the coffee is good, though! the área where breakfast is served is also very nice and sunny and staff was very accommodating with our request. it’s also served until 11am which is great

Located amazingly close to the beach and many nice seafood restaurants. Stuff friendly and helpfull. Room was cleaned everyday with is a great plus. Nice little place to sit in front of the hotel, close to big supermarkets. Fridge in the room big plus!

Hotel is a little dated and on the pictures looks way better than reality (it is simply quite old but well maintained). Carefull with crib price (on booking given 10euro, was tried to be charged 15euro and they needed to be reminded, don't thing that was pn purpose, however worth to remember). In general nothing big, it was a nice stay :).

Clean, comfortable, great location -5 minute walk to the beach and restaurants, 10 minute walk to El Palo neighbourhood, bus stop next to the entrance for buses to the city centre- excellent customer service: Mode, the receptionist, was amazing! helpful, professional, friendly and kind.

Room 2 smelled strange. If you stay in the hotel, ask for a different room.

super clean, bed was comfortable and shutters to make sure no light comes through at night, nice owners/staff, great location near the beach, great restaurants and public transportation or nice walk to the city center

hotel is in busy road so you hear cars the walls are a bit thin so I heard my neighbour talking on the phone for hours but nothing that ear plugs can’t solve

Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely clean room with excellent air conditioning and a big bed. Also great breakfast with lots of choices. It was quiet and handy for the beach. The nice private outdoor seating area with some shade.

Perhaps it would be good to have an air conditioning lounge seating area as after mid morning the breakfast conservatory was too hot. That said we were there in a heatwave of temperatures over 39degC
