Atarazanas Málaga Boutique Hotel

room was adequate for a weekend , however not big enough for a week , breakfast okay first day not a lot to choose from. second day it was cold and the toast machines were not working properly , people were waiting quite a while.

food was cold , staff talked about my friend leaving her food and she had to go and explain herself to them, they were rude Over charged by the hotel who admitted this however they have still not returned what they owe me , I have had to take this matter further now , the receptionist Female Blonde lady so rude and her emails are rude also , not customer service you would expect, if they want you to be recommended . we have travelled to Malaga for many years and first time staying in this hotel very Disappointing ,

We are familiar with Malaga and this hotel, have stayed here before. The room was OK, near the elevator as we had requested. The location was very good. We didn’t have breakfast there.

The room was smaller than others we remember staying in, but maybe this was because one of us has a wheelchair now. We discovered after returning from our visit that we had left some (treasured) items in the wardrobe. Ok silly but we are getting on. Lots of people must leave stuff, contacted the hotel to ask what happened to these things, no reply. Will not stay there again, like everything in Malaga these days, expensive for what it is and not as good as before.

We were upgraded to a larger room, so that was a lovely surprise. We were given 2 chocolates and a greeting card to wish us a happy stay. The room was spacious and bright. The bed was large and very comfortable. Tea and coffee and kettle available, a safe to keep important possessions The bathroom was large, and we had a lovely full-size shower. The towels were really soft and toiletries adequate We could see the street from the window. The breakfast was good, and the bar was opened in the evening The hotel was in a lovely area, not too far from the port . We would stay here whenever we return to Malaga

The staff were very friendly and helpful, responding quickly to requests. The hotel was clean, light and fresh. There were extra touches, like a glass of local sweet wine available as a welcome drink and a small pack of sweets left in the room one day. It's not far to walk to buses, train, restaurants, shops and tourist attractions.

Although there was a lot of choice for breakfast including fresh fruit, I would have liked the option of unsweetened muesli or porridge, seeds and dried fruit like prunes or apricots. I would have liked a heater in the bathroom as well as the bedroom.

I stayed a few days in a horrible apartment in the city and treated myself to a hotel on my last night. It was so nice to walk into somewhere clean, warm and comfortable with smiling staff to greet me. Although I was on my own I requested a double bed rather than 2 singles in the room and this was done. Sweets and a little note left on my pillow. Lovely shower. Had the best night's sleep of my 4 night stay!

It was all good - the breakfast maybe a bit mass produced but plenty of choice and saved me having to go out on the morning I was leaving

The room was basic but very clean and modern. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was in really good condition with a lovely shower. It was perfect for one nights stay in Malaga. It is located close by to everything and we picked this hotel as it was central and there was very secure parking across the road in an underground car park. The staff were very friendly and even upgraded our room, which was super nice of them. I would recommend staying here.

The service was impeccable from when I arrived. Debra came running out to the door to help me with my luggage. Then she said my room has been upgraded from a single to a double with a balcony. she appears genuinely happy for me. Every aspect of the hotel was superb. I have traveled through more than 60 countries and perhaps more than 200 locations. including many 5 star establishments. On this tour I stayed at the Plaza Hotel in New York City in December.

There was nothing I did not like about the hotel.

The check in staff were really great. The bed was comfortable, and the location was fantastic. The shower was very good. Loved the small balcony to test the weather

The breakfast wasnt to our liking, but there were lots of excellent alternatives nearby . The mattresses on our bed slid around, creating a gap and the room was so narrow, I had to walk sideways to get past the bed

24 hour reception (our late flight to Malaga meant we didn’t get to the hotel until after midnight). Staff were friendly. Modern room, sockets by the bed. Huge bathroom with walk in shower. Plenty of pillows. Comfortable. Kettle, tea, coffee and milk. Very clean. It is really well located.

Nothing I didn’t like. Because there weren’t two chairs in the room i would chose another hotel for more than two or three nights stay.

The location was excellent being so close to the market, station and the town and also not too far from the marina. Our room was comfortable and clean and we appreciated the little goodies left in our room. We only had the breakfast once but it was good. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

It would have been nice to have a drink at the bar but it didn't seem to be open. Maybe this was because we were there so early in the season.
