Room007 Select Sol

We liked the location and the room too for cleanliness together with an excellent staff at the "weird" reception (a little desk inside a bar hall).

I did not like at all the bathroom that is not a room inside the bedroom, it's instead an area inside the bedroom separated by the bed area (and even without a bidet!) with only 2 panels for shower and WC. One more thing is the absence of a minimum wardrobe inside the room and drawers too and NO chairs at all. I suggest to provide them all; I'm scared that for the bathroom complain you should only re-plan and design those rooms, so actually it's not affordable. To be honest you should have better described and showed with pictures the bathroom area, by saying it's not a separated room inside the bedroom.

I loved the place! A super clean, cozy room with a comfortable bed, the mirrors that make the small room appear bigger and lighter and the balcony with an amazing view. The location is also perfect. A special thank you to the staff - very helpful and kind. The café on the first floor has a very good coffee.

A lot of flash lights on the ceiling (I think it's a fire alarm and some other stuff like that), and the ventilation is very loud, and almost never stops. Also, the door is not sound-proof, but other visitors were so quiet that I didn't have any problems with that. Please fix the ventilation and the place will just be perfect.

Great location 1 min walk from Opera metro station, 4 mins walk to Sol station. Modern interior incl the room design, an elevator, helpful and polite staff, great coffee downstairs (take-away only).

The room was tiny with an enclosed toilet, shower and wash basin in one corner. Completely fit for a solo traveler, but not suitable for a couple (i.e you can’t close the toilet door while sitting in there). Also there was no seating in the room such as chair or armchair (as it wouldn’t fit either). Altogether great for a single person, but ask for a larger room if traveling as a couple. Also I’ve heard other people complaining about the view. Yes, from your window you’re staring at a wall that’s nicely designed and lighted at evenings, unless you ask for a front room.

Perpect location. Near Plaza Mayor. Near the Mercado San Miguel for tapas, wine and sangria. Near shopping streets. I can recommend this place. The rooms are very sparsious. How ever there is a heater in the aircon which is very nice during winter days. I will highly recommend this hotel. I will be back.

The hallway was a bit noisy when Travellers walked with their trollys. Could be less noisy with a carpet or other pavement. It was difficult finding the hotel as I was looking for (a big) hotel sign. I gave up and looked for #13 in stead and there it was. 🤩

Beautiful comfortable room. The mattress was great. Super soft and comfy. Great location, when you enter the lobby there was a great coffee aroma, instantly made u happy. Great welcome by David, he was helpful and it was great he could speak English. He upgraded our room. Room was super clean, comfortable with tv complete with toilet and shower. Also had a window cum balcony but you can' go out to the balcony. Located very near to the metro, (Opera station) and next door was a small convenience store if u needed drinks or you can go down to the lobby they have a small coffee shop there Syra Coffee. Definitely a great place to stay and really love the helpful lady in pink top for assisting us during checkout. Great experience thank you!

Toilet needed to have a bidet /small hose for Muslim travellers. Small electric kettle in the rooms or complimentary tea/coffee. Maybe a bigger signage of the place because when we arrived we were confused about the location.

The hotel itself is in a fantastic location, close to many shops, as well as public transportation and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and efficient (e.g., fixed my AC when it wasn't working, got me a taxi with only 15 minutes notice). The room itself was a decent size and had a small balcony you could open the doors to and get some fresh air. The bed was comfortable and I found the furnishing of the room really made it feel very homely. The shower was nice. The room and bathroom were very clean.

It was extremely hard to find the hotel from the street, I must have walked past it lugging my suitcase at least 3 or 4 times until I finally found it (from the outside, you see a coffee shop sign). The bathroom door opened up to face the bed, but unfortunately you could not close the bathroom door while sitting down. This was not an issue for me as I was travelling alone but couples might want to get a bigger room!

Super well located, very centric and close to everything you need. The staff is very friendly, there's a Syra coffee promo that you can get details on at the reception, and the room was pretty comfortable - even gotten a room with a nice balcony. The housekeeping lady was wonderful, un amor!

It was a little difficult to find the hotel because you only see the coffee shop from the outside (there's just a small "placa" beside the entrance door. The shower and the toilet happened to be quite literally tiny, and there's no smart TV, only a flat screen with mainly Spanish channels.

The location was perfect. Centrally located. You can walk from one place to another. (Plaza mayor, the royal palace, the cathedral, san miguel market, puerta del sol.) There is a metro station nearby and a lot of restaurants amd shops around the area. The hotel smells so nice too.

As mentioned by other clients, you can hear noises of other people talking and even their doors closing as the walls are not soundproof. The toilet is small that you can barely close the door and the shower room has transparent glass so there is no privacy. I was alone so it wasn't a problem but if you are travelling with someone it will be a bit awkward.

Location, Location, Location!!!! it’s extremely well located at just few meters from Mercado de San Miguel, Plaza Mayor and the famous churros San Guinez. The room was amazing for a family (we where 5) so was difficult for us to find a place in Madrid that offer family rooms… but Room007 has two family rooms that are amazing… they have all that you need and the are exactly like in the pictures. The beds and pillow were comfortable and they have plentiful them for you. All very clean and the staff was extremely helpful. Definitely we will stay here again next time in Madrid and I will recommend this place to all my friends travelling with large group of family.

Honestly? I like everything. it surprised me in a good sense.

This is a perfect hotel for your visit to Madrid. It's affordable, conveniently located in the city center and right next to the Opera metro station. The room was spacier than I thought at 8m2, which is mostly due to very clean and clever furnishing, with lots of space to put your stuff. The beds are amazing, the shower was great, and there were more than enough toiletries for my stay. The staff are exceedingly friendly and during my stay I saw 4 different receptionists, all of whom spoke perfect English. There is a coffee bar right in the lobby, which I liked because I could just run down, grab a coffee, and run back up to continue working. There is also a nice little night shop next to the entrance run a by very friendly patron.

I couldn't change the AC temperature, and I thought something was wrong with it. Apparently the hotel staff can change it for you, but I only found this out because I asked. Also, the toilet was just a little bit cramped. Both were no issues to me, but wanted to mention for those for whom this may be important. Perfect stay otherwise.
