Fran at the front desk was so wonderful to us when our tour didn't show up to pick us up. He walked me outside and wouldn't let stand out there alone! He called the tour company for us and was very helpful and honest. The entire staff at the hotel was really friendly and wonderful to us. The room was really clean and very nice. The breakfast was great too!

The air conditioning isn't turned on during certain times of the year so you have to sleep with the window open. The temperature was pretty comfortable with the window open but it's a bit loud outside. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again though! It was a great hotel!!!

Extremely comfortable bed - but of course, that is just my opinion. There is a hop-on-hop-off busstop 200m away and a metro station too. So the location is perfect. The bedroom windows were great - the hotel is on a busy roundabout but I was not disturbed by the traffic noise. The 3 breakfast "basics" - juice, coffee and bread - were all of good quality. I mean, it was proper juice, not diluted syrup. The cheese / cold cuts were all of decent quality too. I did not try the hot items because they didn't look attractive - e.g. poorly grilled bacon, dry scrambled egg. The reception staff were all very friendly and spoke very good english

There were some refurbishments going on - very loud building noises. That's not a problem when one is out and about during the day. But it would have been nice if they had let us known in advance.

Good location - although not at the centre of Madrid it was still a walkable distance to the old city and things likes the palace and cathedral. A bit further from Retiro but with a taxi rank right outside it was very easy to get to the new side of Madrid for the park and Prado.

The breakfast was disappointing for the price. Quality was not as good as expected so we only ate in once. There is a coffee bar inside hotel which is fine for a coffee and croissant so we ate there instead

I stayed two nights at this hotel. And I booked a room for two people. This room had a good size bed and a good size room. Since I like the place I decided to book another night the same week of my trip and they gave me a tiny size room, the bed was single junior bed. It was comfortable and cute little room but I prefer to have more space in the room. If you book the room through their website. It is cheaper.

The bar is small and the bartender should be more proactive. Some rooms are very small.

The hotel is well located, clean and comfortable. The room was cozy enough with a fantastic bed. The stuff was friendly and helpful. It took only 15 min to walk to Plaza Mayor. The price is reasonable for this amazing location and clean rooms.

The walls are extremely thin. Sometimes it seemed that water from the neighboring rooms was pouring on my head. In the evening it is difficult to fall asleep because of the sounds from the neighboring rooms, especially from the bathrooms.

We had the junior suite and we loved it. Very spacious for a family of 3, Robes and slippers, powerful shower and body dryer, Very clean. Comfortable bed and pillows in the bedroom . The sofa bed in the living room was already made for us. It's not as comfortable as the bed in the bedroom but for my 6yr old, she slept through the night. lots of closet space large windows, fast wifi. Great breakfast with different meats, fruits, cheeses, coffee and different breads. The hotel also has a cafe that served pizzas, snacks, coffee all day. It was a bit of a walk but we walked to the Royal Palace and all the way to Parque Retiro.

There was an extra charge of $40 per night for our daughter that we did not expect. For some reason the rate we booked was only for 2 adults and did not include my child which was either an oversight or a bit misleading. Not many restaurants around but we enjoyed walking around so it's not a big problem

Traveled with a friend and booked a twin room. The room was a nice size, spotlessly clean, and had large, comfortable beds. The bathroom was relatively large for a hotel bathroom, was spotlessly clean and had a shower over the bath with a combination shower offering the choice of a normal hand-held shower, or a rainfall shower. There was a small fridge and a safe. The safe stopped working (in the locked state!) on the first day. We reported this to reception, and a very helpful maintenance man arrived within 5 minutes to fix it. There was no kettle (tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but there was an excellent bar in the reception that sold hot drinks and snacks. The buffet breakfast in the basement canteen was extensive, offering cooked and uncooked foods, fruit, pastries, bread rolls, and a range of hot and cold drinks from 7am until 11am. All of the staff we meet were both friendly and very helpful There is a very good and cheap metro system throughout Madrid, and the nearest station was a 2 minute walk away (1 minute if the traffic lights are in your favour). I would definitely stay at this hotel again and highly recommend it to others

A kettle in the room would have been a small bonus.

The room had plenty of space and was comfortable. The shower was the best one of our 3 week trip. The location was a minute's walk to a metro stop, which was very convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was not good. For example, the fruit was past its prime, the yogurts did not include a less sweet option, and the meat was very greasy.

Very nice hotel, well located, a little further away from the center of town but an easy walk with many restaurants to chose from. Staff were very friendly and rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Overall very happy to stay here again and would recommend to anyone thinking of visiting Madrid.

All was good - it's a shame they don't have their own restaurant but there's plenty of options nearby.

Breakfast was very tasty and had many options including fresh fruit, staff was super friendly, rooms are comfy and clean. Location is perfect, walking distance to almost anywhere and if wanted to take bus or metro it is a few steps away.

Everything was very good, only thing might be the hairdryer as it was a bit old so it didn’t had much power.
