We arrived well ahead of check-in time however the staff were very friendly and able to accommodate an early check-in. Our rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable but above all else our bed was a super kingsize, extremely comfortable and even the pillows suited us (I'm very fussy about pillows). The air-con was an absolute necessity and was easily adjustable and there were plug sockets next to the mirror - in my experience, very unusual! There was plenty of wardrobe space too although I did have to ask for extra hangers but these arrived quickly and with a smile.

The roof top pool water was rather murky and looked like it needed a good clean. It may have been the chemicals but either way, it didn't appeal. Also, there were a limited number of sunbeds which the staff allowed to be 'reserved' (guests leaving towels on them whilst they went to breakfast or lunch) - very irritating and rather selfish especially when they weren't being used for some time.

The hotel itself is beautifully presented , rooms are spacious and tasteful, the rooftop pool is amazing and the staff are friendly, helpful and super polite. The rooftop terrace is a great viewing point to look out to sea and surrounding area and see the daily air display by the jets from the nearby military base. The hotel is located next to a plethora of bars and restaurants. The bed was enormous and very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and had a waterfall shower. I would 100% recommend staying at Hotel 525. There are lots of hand sanitiser stations and notices to remind visitors to wear masks. Sadly I didn’t get to the spa on this visit. Next time!

The only thing I can think of is there was a kettle in the room but no cups or tea/coffee, which I thought was odd. Not really a negative, more a preference.

Breakfast and always well stocked and plenty of space and options. We had a corner suite and was brilliant, lots of space, large bed 2 balconies, a fridge, a double sink bathroom and separate toilet, would definitely recommend.

Shower needed 2 hands to sort where the water came from, either the shower head or the tap. Was hard to set up and as soon as you reduced the pressure of the water it stopped coming trough the shower head and came through the tap. A small issue but can easily be fixed.

Fabulous hotel in a great location. Spacious room, very well equipped with a fridge and a kettle. Sliding door to the shower cubicle meant no water escaped to flood the bathroom floor, and the shower was very powerful. Would definately return to this hotel. .

There is no mirror near the dressing table and no dressing table near the mirror! Not enough lights in the room. It is impossible to sit on the sofa and read once it's dark outside due to only 1 small lamp in the sitting area of the room.

The staff were extremely helpful when we arrived...we have stayed in this hotel on numerous occasions..and we will be back next year...all the staff were lovely..hotel was excellent...very clean and very welcoming.

There was nothing to dislike...if I had one criticism in the bar there was only 1 member of staff..Jose I think his name was.. he was exceptional very polite very helpful...but very very busy...I think you need 2 people behind the bar...

The pool area was lovely and the room was huge and very well looked after. The bed was really comfortable and big. Really good night's stay

The air con wasn't the best. Did call reception to and they did reset it which did cool the room down eventually. Wasn't over all the best air con for the fan which we understand when it's hot don't want to waste it but could have been better fan speed even at full

Lovely spacious room with ample storage space, good air conditioning and lots of plug sockets. Clean towels were provided daily and shower gel and soap.Use of the safe was included in the room rate.There was also a kettle provided but no tea, coffee, milk or sugar! . Excellent location with lots of bars and restaurants right outside the door. 5 minutes walk from the beach.

There was no door on the bathroom. The bar by the swimming pool on the rooftop was not open during our 5 day stay in mid June, despite great weather. 10 euro per night to park in the hotel carpark.

The pool and spa facilities were lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious! The room was very spacious with lots of places to sit, a table and a dressing table and a brilliant balcony with a view of the square. The bar staff were friendly and helpful and the vending machines on each floor were useful too. The bathroom was spacious and very clean. The room had a great sized wardrobe and mirror too. The location was brilliant. We hope to come back soon!

Nothing. We would love to come back when the Azotea pool bar and Amazonia bar are open too but this visit was out of season so they were closed.

Returning customer for over 10 years to this lovely hotel and will definitely return. Situated right in middle of restaurant bar area and few minutes walk to beach. No chairs or tables on balcony, after requests two dining chairs supplied for use on balcony Room decor now looking tired

Have been coming here since the hotel first opened to visit family. It is clean, modern, well air-conditioned and the rooms are spacious. Staff are professional & friendly and not intrusive either. Lovely spa facilities on top floor.

Only disadvantage in the room are lack of hooks for clothes/drying items.
